I have been coming to Dr. Bronstein for over 20 years. He has changed receptionists over the years. They are both horrible. They attempted to charge me 600$ for two teeth extractions that should have been 150$. I have Delta Dental PPO. I was instructed to ask for Price Authorization because of the price gauging at this practice. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and paid 150$ for two teeth to be pulled. I will continue with my scaling and cleaning. Other than that, I am done with them. read more

My husband needed to find a new dentist to do a simple repair to one of his front incisors. He found Dr. Bronstein through his insurance. The staff were very pleasant and efficient in setting up an appointment and in the way they set out the new patient paperwork. Dr. Bronstein was very nice. He explained the alternatives for the pricedure and the cost beforehand. My husband has a hearing loss but the doctor and his staff was very accommodating. They were taking Covid precautions with screening for temperatures and with spaced seating. It was a good experience. read more

With their recent comment I have to shake my head and laugh. No, I was not told on the phone about their process. And when I was told that they would not do a cleaning, I'd have to return for it, I expressed disappointment and said I would never have made one had I known this. The lady was quick to call me a liar and would not back down. I was actually horrified at what was happening. She was actually "making a stink." Would you really want to go here after seeing their comment made on my post from years ago? Instead of saying "we are sorry you felt this way but it's our policy" you write a nasty comment. I stand by my review. There are plenty of other dentists in the area who would treat patients better. I'd like to spare people from being treated poorly read more

In my short time of being a patient at Dr. Bronstein's practice, Dr. Bronstein was always nice and polite to me. I did not have dental insurance at the time, but he seemed to do his best to help me out. It was still expensive, don't get me wrong, but he seemed to try. I did have to make two appts to get my first teeth cleaning, as mentioned by another reviewer. Yes, it cost to go twice. I ended up having to have a cavity filled. Dr. Bronstein used old school techniques, drill and all. I was not used to this, because, as a near 30 year old, I've always had laser technology for cavity fillings. I expected a little pain and was well on my way. When I called the practice back to let them know I was still in pain 2 weeks later and was concerned, I was told the message would get passed along to Dr. Bronstein. I called back several times with the same concern, and never got a response. I made the choice then to seek a new practice. When I called for the practice to send my records to my new dentist, the office staff told me I would have to pay a fee. My new dentist was shocked, and even called on my behalf to obtain the records. They told me later that they, too, were having a hard time connecting with Dr. Bronstein's office. I really wanted to like this practice. Dr. Bronstein seemed like an alright guy. I think there is definite room for improvement though. No one should have to call several times to report pain and not receive a response. read more

Let's be honest, NOBODY likes having to go to the dentist. It's can be painful physically, mentally and financially - but it's a necessary evil. Bad dental health affects your body completely. Which it's why it's crazy dental is not covered under general health insurance or Medicare. As most of us have experienced, a sore tooth is agony. Which is where Dr. Bronstein comes in. I cannot recommend him more. He is gentle, kind and very up-front about what you need to have done and the extent of your problem(s) without lecturing or chastising. He is also very understanding of the cost and willing to work out a payment plan. A true gentleman. read more

I agree with the previous review: this is a place for emergency not for a routine check. My 3.5 year old son was refilled his teeth 4 times in one month. The longest refilled teeth just keep ten days, the shortest one just last one night..... read more

Happy again with all services received. I also brought my fiance this time and we are both excited to start some treatments with dr Bronstein. Quick, painless and didn't break the bank. I have a cavity which will be watched and was given a small regimen to help with beginning gingivitis, fiancé is going back for beginning stages of gum disease I believe it was, he will have 4 treatments/visits done and we will continue to come here for all our needs. read more

Dr. Bronstein is a great dentist. He genuinely cares about his patients and their state of health. He works with all of his patients to find the most affordable route to ensure they get the treatment they need. He is passionate about his job and his patients. He spends numerous hours during his evenings and weekends off talking to patients directly, offering advice, and getting them the treatment they need when a dental emergency occurs. I would highly recommend Dr. Bronstein for all of your general dentistry treatments because he genuinely cares about the health of his patients and the treatment his patients need rather than getting his patients to spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary treatment. I've been going to Bronstein for a couple of years now and I've been saying that I'm going to look for another dentist but out of convenience and the fact that I only go twice a year, I haven't looked for another one yet. He is a great person but his dental practices are really old school and he can be very rough sometimes. I had a couple of fillings done today around 9 am and am STILL sore (almost 4:30) with a couple of cuts on my gums from him being rough with his tools. But his location and prices are convenient so I'm still a patient. Also, the lady at the front desk can have a bit of an attitude when speaking with you especially if you inquire about pricing, other than her the staff is pretty now and helpful. Also, I always make the 8:30 appointment but he usually doesn't get in until about 8:45 and started closer to 9. Again, I'm still a patient out of convenience. read more

Working with Dr. Bronstein has been an extreme financial and emotional burden for me and my husband. He placed an extremely big crown in my mouth, which does not match the color, shape, and size of the other teeth in my mouth, and is creating trauma to my other teeth and jaw due to its size and proximity to the alveolar bone . After noticing such a "big" issue, I learned through my insurance that he has overcharged me for several services and even charged me for serviced he did not provide (his assistants don't provide you with a summary of costs, so you don't know what you are paying for). What is worst, I was informed through my new dentist (I got reassigned to another dental office) that he misdiagnosed for not one but three conditions I should have been refer to an specialist for immediate treatment. I'm extremely frustrated because I'll have to go through all dental procedures and pay for them again. He is costing me over $5,000 in out ok pockets costs for his malpractice. Stay away if you can. Dr. Bronstein is my first dentist after I moved to the USA. I visited Dr. Bronstein for cleanning my teeth. He expanded the work to 6 visits. One for check-up and x-ray taking, four for cleaning the teeth (lower-right; lower-left; upper-right; upper-left, one part a time), plus a final toutch which he finished only partly -- he said he would finish them all in the next visit (to start another his long treatment plan). I have a very good insurance, which covers most of the cost and only had to pay 86$ for each visit. When I changed my dentist, he charged me $25 for taking away my x-ray photo although I believe I had paid him for making it. But, money is one thing. Time wasting is another issue. I had to spent at least 30 minutes in waiting for a 5 minutes treatment. He was always talking to someone. He said the treatment was short because he had GOOD equipment. I have visited so many dentists in many countries, believe me, I am not impressed by the quality of his work. Having said that, he is freindly. read more

I've been going to Dr. Bronstein for many years and have been impressed with every visit. I highly recommend his services. Just recently I had a frenectomy completed by him. I currently have braces and needed to remove the frenelum between my upper lip and gum in order to prevent my previous gap from reopening. I was apprehensive in having the procedure as I was afraid of the pain it may cause. However the procedure was quick and painless. Even though I was a little sensitive during the numbing. Dr. Bronstein did an amazing job! I had a speedy recovery with excellent results. I love my smile even more now with the braces on. It looks so natural as if I never had extra tissue on my gum. I've been seeing this dentist for several years and have nothing but good things to say. Dr. Bronstein is professional, kind, and courteous, and always takes the time to get to know his patients. When I first started using him, I needed a lot of work on my teeth. I'd been to several different dentists, and always felt like I was being shamed into getting all this work done. But I always felt comfortable with Dr. Bronstein, and after several years and many visits, my teeth are in great shape. On top of that, I've noticed on several occasions that Dr. Bronstein tries his best to help less fortunate patients afford the care they need. I'm pretty well-off financially, so I've never needed any assistance in that regards, but it's nice to know that he's willing to help those that do. As other reviewers have said, the office staff can be lacking at times (it depends on who's working the day of your visit, I guess). But I've never witnessed anything as extreme as what other reviewers have. It's no different than what I experience at any other dentist/doctor's office/hospital. Sometimes you catch someone on a bad day, or you get someone who doesn't know what they're doing, or things just happen to get hectic and unorganized. It's no different than the usual customer service experience anywhere else (especially in this area). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the customer service is average, which is all I expect it to be. But the actual dental experience (which is what I'm there for, ultimately) is outstanding. read more

I had a very bad customer service experience with the Office Manager. First, I was scheduled for a 9:15 am appointment and the office didn't open until 10:00 am. (My appointment was scheduled on a day that we had light snow - less than 1/2 inch) Secondly, as I mentioned my appointment was for 9:15 am, but my dentist wasn't scheduled to arrive until 1:30 pm. I didn't know this until I was asked to come sit in the chair of another dentist. I told the staff that I didn't want to go to that dentist and that I've never met with the other dentist. Also, in the past I was asked which dentist I preferred and I was assigned to my dentist of choice. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule for the afternoon. I told the staff that this was unacceptable and that I was called a couple days before to confirm that my appointment was at 9:15 am. Then, I asked to speak to the office manager about the scheduling conflicts. I asked her about the policy for contacting clients during inclement weather or rescheduling. She told me that I should have called the office to check to see if the office was opening on time. As I tried to explain to her that the Government was open and it didn't dawn on me that the offices would open late for this little amount of snow. She continued to tell me that she didn't have to call to inform me of the office hour changes. To add fuel to the fire she said that it was common sense for me to call the office. I told her that I wasn't the only person waiting outside of the office, so it wasn't common sense. She then told me that I couldn't return to the office because I was rude to her. To make matters worst she threatened to call the police because I told her that she was wrong. I told her that I needed my dentist number to call and speak to him about this incident. By now, I'm losing my patience, annoyed, and unhappy! I've never dealt with such ignorance. She told me that my dentist was only part owner and he had no say so in the matter. I told her to get out of my face and that I wasn't going to allow her to talk to me any kind of way. I told her that this matter didn't have to escalate, and all she had to say was that: it's the office policy not to contact the client if there is bad weather, etc. and offer an apology for my one hour wait. She then told me she was sorry and that it was still common sense for me to call the office to see if the office was open. The same day, I sent in a two page complaint letter requesting that management thoroughly investigate my complaints and take my concerns seriously. My dentist called me stating that the Office Manager had no right to tell me that I couldn't return and he offered to make me an appointment. I made an appointment for the following week. When I returned to the office I was allowed to get serviced. No one mentioned the incident. After I paid, I was handed a letter by the head Dentist withdrawing me as a client. He never looked me in my eyes! As he walked away from me, he asked me not to return unless if was I was having a dental emergency. The letter stated that I was being withdrawn as a client because I was disrespectful to the Office Manager. I was very confused because my dentist told me that the issue was resolved and that I was allowed to return. Obviously, it's their policy to treat clients in any matter that they see fit. I guess it's a good thing because I didn't feel comfortable around the Office Manager anymore. I expected a much higher level of service, and was quite disappointed.
