I had already checked Glass.com and a couple other places, so I had a rough idea. They actually came in lower than what I was seeing, which was nice. I also asked if I could just hang out and work from their lobby while they did the repair, and they said that was fine. When I got there, they gave me the WiFi info and I just worked off my laptop the whole time. It took about 3 hours like they said. The lobby was bigger than I expected and the internet was fast enough to actually get work done, so that helped a lot. Location is solid too, there's food and shops nearby if you don't want to sit the whole time. One thing I thought was interesting, I have a friend who owns a windshield shop in another state, and I sent him pics after. He was pretty surprised at how clean it came out for the price, said it probably comes down to them doing a high volume of jobs. Overall just a smooth experience. No upselling, no weird surprises, and everything lined up with what they told me. I'd go back if I needed to.

After starting a claim with my insurance, it was a breeze scheduling with Rock Chip and I was able to get in right away. The windshield replacement and recalibration was done in under 3 hours. A plastic part cracked and needed to be replaced, and Hien had the part ordered before I got to the shop to pick my car up. Luckily, I was in a training across the street at FJC. Hien found my car in the parking lot and replaced the part easy peasy. Communication was great. Can't speak too much to the cost as I went through insurance. In a sea of fake reviews on the internet, including yelp, I saw the ever-active, ever-helpful Carol P.'s review of this place and reached out at night through the yelp app. Jimmy responded quickly (like later that night) with a quote and an offer to get me it the next day. He even followed up the next day with specific parking and location instructions that were super helpful. I was in and out in 45 minutes, just like they said I would be. The guys did perfect work and were professional and friendly. There is a basic waiting room, but really you should wander next door to Hi-Fashion Fabrics. That store is freakin' great, and you probably don't go there enough and explore it. It's not just fabric -- it's craft supplies, beautiful buttons for upcycling a vintage coat (which is what I ended up buying), feather boas for like $6 (which you probably need). So, while I hope I never have to go back, I know that if I do end up with cracked auto glass, I'll be back here for sure!

Auto Glass Combat Vet had "click here for a quote." Within two minutes I was quoted $250. Safelite wanted $474!!!! That's almost double!!!! Father son came out in a very nice brand new truck. They replaced my windshield and cleaned all the glass!!! My wiper blade was damaged in the incident. Auto Glass Combat Vet offered to replace the wiper!!!
