Unfortunate experience. Got a great quote and scheduled an appointment for glass windshield replacement and got stood up twice. The first time they no-showed, I called when I was waiting outside their location and they said the technician had an emergency. Then they texted back and said it was because I didn't confirm the appt (which a courtesy message notifying me the appt was cancelled would've been appreciated if that was the case), but later texted saying to disregard that and they would do mobile services for the inconvenience. Scheduled them for mobile services for the next day and waited at home for several hours, but then technician had a medical emergency, so they asked me to come back to their main location the next morning. Next morning, no one was available to work on it. In sum, obviously unforeseen medical emergencies are unfortunate, but at that point, just stop scheduling appointments until everyone gets their health stuff figured out? It's an insanely rude waste of time. read more

Had an outstanding experience with the gentlemen at Proper Auto Glass!! They were friendly, on time, and very knowledgeable. About 5 years ago I had a new windshield installed by another vendor who did a poor job on the installation which lead to leaks. Other glass vendors were not willing to remove the windshield and repair the seal but Proper Auto Glass did. I was told the risks of trying to remove, repair and reinstalling may lead to the windshield breaking but they were willing to give it a try. They were successful and did an amazing job. In the past, we've used the default company on the Geico website for cracked windshields. (My wife's a pebble magnet.) This time though, they were having technical difficulties when I tried to schedule online. So I searched Yelp and found these guys (this guy?- it's a very small family business). I'm so glad I did. Nick answered the phone himself and scheduled me for a couple days later. Turns out, Geico's company channels all of Geico's glass claims, even the ones that go to other companies, and they were also having technical difficulties communicating with Proper Auto Glass. Nick called me a couple times to let me know what was happening and rescheduled me the same day he finally received the windshield. The install went super smoothly and was covered by insurance just the same. Talking to Nick afterwards, he told me he used to work for that other company. Now, whenever I need a windshield repair/replacement, I will definitely be using Proper Auto Glass. Their service is above and beyond. read more

Just moved to Roseville and bam, a rock hits the windshield. Don't know any businesses here. I did a yelp search and I called a couple of places. One business gave me a quote of $700 and the other was $399. Proper Glass has a perfect 5 rating and I can see why. Took my vehicle here today and within 35 minutes they were done. Nick and his wife were wonderful to speak to and excellent at communicating the whole time. I was able to get an great quote for my Mazda windshield which was cracked and Nick was out the next day replacing it while I worked. It took them just over an hour and the final result was perfect. My car is old and the molding around the windshield needed to be replaced but they did not have on-hand. I would totally recommend Nick and Proper Auto Glass. Had the back quarter window of my SUV broken when someone tried to get into my car. I got quotes from several auto glass places and Nick was more then competitive and best yet he is a mobile business!
