Pros: - great communication here on Yelp and also via text/email - pricing was competitive for a 3 man crew doing a move in Cloverdale (ie no big surcharges for travel/km) - showed up early and was ready to go - he and his guys were extremely helpful, patient, and polite (this is actually huge for a moving company, where things almost never go as planned) - EVERYTHING got wrapped in a blanket and shrinkwrapped up - they brought runners and put them down on all the main traffic areas - absolutely zero damage to anything - not to any of the items that got moved, and not to either the house we moved out of or the place we moved into. No joke. Cons: - because of the level of care they took in moving things, the move didn't go fast. This is only a con because you're paying by the hour, and time is money. Wrapping everything takes time, so does unwrapping everything, so does folding all the blankets and cleaning up all the shrinkwrap and runners. I only say this because I've used other movers that hauled ass and cost less as a result. You will pay less with those guys but they'll sweat all over your stuff and you will end up with dings in the wall, or dings on your stuff, or they won't listen to instructions and you'll end up with furniture and boxes in the wrong rooms.

Meredith (owner) was not only immediately responsive to my inquiry, he was able to schedule the move quickly. My mother had been in hospital, and it was clear that she could not go back to living alone in her own home (age 97!). We found a fabulous option for her, where she could have all of her own furniture. My brother insisted on moving her bedroom on his own so she could be checked out of the hospital faster. I BEGGED him to let me hire professional movers (and pay for it) and he got angry and insisted on doing it himself. So on top of moving my mother's stuff, I had to ask Meredith to now take two pieces of furniture (that my brother damaged beyond belief in his DIY move efforts) to a furniture repair location - which he happily accommodated.
