They made snow possible in LA! Our daughter celebrated her 4th bday with the winter wonderland theme and they made it possible with a sled run, a small play area and a snow man:) It was a huge hit with the kids as well as the adult. Everybody had an awesome time. The neighborhood can't get over it and passed by the next day and took pictures of our front yard all day. It easy scheduling, right on time and set up the snow quickly. FYI, they get very busy on Christmas so call in advance. I highly recommend them. read more

I had to purchase a large amount of ice for an event that we were having and needed it delivered within 24-hours. I called the Ice Man and they handled the order no problem. I gave them what I was looking to buy, they gave me the total with the delivery fee, I paid, and everything was ready to go. Super quick and painless. The next day the order was delivered within the specified time. Couldn't have been happier. Not only was it cheaper than buying each bag individually from the store, they delivered it with additional dry ice to ensure that that it was solid and ready to use by the event time. Awweeeeeesssssooooooommmmmeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! Shot luge for the party! LOL First off, make sure you have a large car to carry the stand and ice block, and make sure to secure it for the drive. You do not want it knocking on your car during your entire drive. When you get to your destination, make sure you have plenty of people to carry the huge block of ice in! Park as close to the place as possible. You do not want to drop it. No no no. Set up huge block of ice. Put a bucket at the end of path to catch water and alcohol. Pour shots down the path. Place face at the end of the luge. Look cross-eyed while waiting for shot to come. Freeze part of face. Suck drink. Stick out those lips! Suck! Face gets wet. Suck more of drink. Clean the path and sucking area with some water. Tips: - Take lots of pictures - Take video as well - Have people poke the behind of person taking shot - Do funny things behind or to the person while taking the shot - Pour more than one shot down the path - Try to get more than one person at a time to take a shot down the path (this gets really interesting) - It's much more fun when it's warm out instead of freezing in the fall. Been here a couple times and they are so nice! Julio is so helpful-we are having a scheduled power outage and I didnt feel like taking all my food to someone elses house for a couple days while the freezer and fridge get back up to temp. So Julio suggested 10lbs of dry ice, cut into 3 pieces: 5lbs for the freezer and 5lbs divided into 2 pieces for the fridge. Tim was the one who cut it up for me. This place ruined my birthday party.... In a good way!! I decided an ice luge would be the center piece for my yearly themed birthday shin dig. Yacked by 930, and in bed by 10 on my birthday cause of their stupid, yet genius luge. A 50$ fee for the luge and 50$ deposit for the stand and your shit will be on n' crackin'! Everyone was drunk. There were all sorta bottles of liquor empty around it. It even got the point where 4 loko was flowing through the mini ice canyon. Delicious! Grab a strawberry Fanta, and it'll serve as a raspado ice block to cure the hang over the next day. I approve. read more

I decided to buy dry ice from this place because the reviews looked good 4.8 stars is not bad. However; the kind of customer service I received when I arrived was completely the opposite. I'd like to add that this is my first time coming to this place and my first time buying dry ice. I start walking towards the office when I am greeted by an employee who asks me what I was there for (nice guy he wasn't the problem) he explained to me how they sell the dry ice and how much it costs so I tell him what I was going to take, while he is gathering my ice a guy walks out from the office and aggressively asks me what I want and tells me that I need to go to the office to buy the ice first. I definitely understand that part, if I knew this was how they did things I would have abided by their business practices no problem. However; this was my first time there. I proceeded to follow the guy into the office and he raises his voice "what are you taking" I told him and he then proceed to tell me the total, he was obviously very upset about something prior to our encounters because he slammed his cash register to close. I honestly was caught by surprise I have never had this type of customer service. I hope that guys day gets better but that isn't an excuse to treat a customer or just a person how he did. Needless to say I won't be going back and I don't recommend anyone else to support this business. I will be spreading this across all my platforms and to my customers from my business. I get dry ice from them for my annual Halloween party and it is great service and great dry ice. You will not be disappointed if you go here for your ice needs (I also pick up regular ice for the coolers). We had a power outage and had already been without power for over 12 hours (SCE kept promising restoration in less than 6). Temperatures had hit 100 the day before and high temperatures were expected the rest of this week. We woke up to find our freezer defrosting and the stores weren't going to be open for another hour. I went to the Iceman and was helped by the most amazing employee (I'm sorry I didn't get his name!). We had just spent over $400 on groceries a few days before and I was scared we were going to lose all of it. The employee suggested dry ice for my large cooler of frozen foods and patiently walked me though using it (I had never used it before). I ended up with 40 lbs. of cubes and approx. 8 lbs of dry ice. Our power was restored about 10 hours later and we didn't have any losses!!!! I have been to the Iceman many times before for party needs, but never in an emergency. They have never failed! I am sorry I didn't get the employees name. He was definitely my hero yesterday! read more
