I had to get my Winter Maintenance on my Furnace from Artic Air Conditioning. I asked for an early morning Appt. I was just going to run out for coffee and I noticed the Artic truck outside. I asked this young man if he was going to my house. He said he was. I was so happy to see someone on time even early. I asked him his name and he said "Matt." He was on time, very clean, extremely polite and someone you'd be happy to serve you on any day at any time. He did a thorough check of my Furnace, explained to me what was going on and how to know when the Filter needed to changed. He told me the benefits of new products, asked me if I had Radon detectors and checked the systems and was totally professional. Matt shared with me his work ethic that his dad taught him. He said you need to work hard as life doesn't give you things on a silver platter. He has a great background In his field, is naturally talented in what he does and what he was taught and is a real "Keeper." He is a great representation for Artic Air (a company I have use for over 40 years.). I was so happy to know they are hiring such knowledgeable and professional young men. Very reliable, friendly and honest. Had Another company come out to my house because they were able to arrive faster for an emergency call and for half the price (emergency svc call) on July 4th. They replaced the air conditioner capacitor and charged me $267 (capacitor + call). Within 30 minutes after the service call, the compressor stopped working again. I called the other company back and this time I was told that the motor was shot. Then I received a pitch to either replace the old motor for $1,500 or replace the whole unit for $4,500 since the freon it required would be difficult to find in 2 years.... Hmmmm.... While waiting to learn if the company could locate a replacement for the old motor, obviously, I called Arctic Air. After speaking with their helpful staff (Renee & Stephanie) I also spoke with the owner. We agreed to have a tech come out to the house. Here's what he found. The capacitor was the issue, but when the other company rewired the starter they wired it BACKWARDS causing it to shut down after about 30 minutes.... go figure... Artic Air replaced the bad part, saved me a huge headache of a $1,500 repair and most importantly, were straight shooters. I can't say if the other company made a mistake or were unethical, but going forward I'm only calling Arctic Air. Well done Howard. read more

I am not sure if there are words that I can provide to describe my experience with Arctic Air Conditioning. From the start of my project with Connor coming to my residence to review my heating/cooling system, and what it would take to properly heat/cool my house to the excellent communication I had with the customer support staff in Cheryl and Pam...this was one of the most professional and smoothest experiences I have ever had. A huge thanks to Connor who really knows his stuff... This guy is extremely knowledgeable in heating/cooling, and is an asset to Arctic Air. I wouldn't want to leave out the technicians who were professional, and friendly. They kept me abreast on progress and informed me on any changes that should have my approval. When the job was complete, one of the techs went over everything with me, and explained how to manage/maintain the systems. I would highly recommend Arctic Air Conditioning to anyone in needs of a new heating/cooling system, maintenance of an already in place system, and any other services they have to offer. We've been using (and happy with) Arctic Air since Superstorm Sandy destroyed our original HVAC system. During our recent cold snap we discovered water pooling around our furnace, under the pump area. To avoid a flood, we turned off the pump, and therefore lost our heat. When we called, the operator clearly laid out options and pricing for coming out that same afternoon (Sunday) and the next day. We chose the latter, and Tony arrived in a very timely fashion, patiently troubleshooting the issue, which turned out to be in the tubing that outlets the excess water was exited outside the house. Since the humidifier attached to the furnace also uses this tubing there is a lot of water passing through it in the winter. The recent extreme outside temperatures had frozen the water in the tubing, causing the back up inside the house. Tony, was a joy to work with, calm, courteous, friendly, very willing to explain and answer any questions- and persistent in getting the issues fixed. We loved the service and quality that Arctic Air provided. My SO & I bought and moved into a new home recently. The air conditioning unit and system were much older than the real estate person claimed, and it basically died during the July heatwave. We scrambled to get a reliable contractor when our temporary measures weren't working. Arctic Air came through with knowledgeable technicians and salesman. They were honest and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. Our salesman made us comfortable and got our installation booked within a few days. The technicians who installed the units were Efficient and fast too. They did a great job and left our place neat and tidy when they were done. Finally, our new home is comfortable and even cold despite the blazing temps outside! The new system is quiet and efficient; we're going to get multiple rebates making the cost less than paid. Had a walkin appointment with Mr. Buonadonna. He explained the equipment and installation process. He is very knowledgeable with all the equipment. He even gave me a tour of the building and showed me the equipment. I was very satisfied and knew right away that Arctic Air was th right company to do our HVAC System Installation. NO REGRETS! He knew his products and made reasonable suggestions for our home. He was helpful and never pushy. When we chose Arctic Air to do the job, we were pleased with the quick turnaround time. Ours was a two-day installation, and our crew of two (Matt and Conner) were the best. They arrived on time and worked without breaks to get the job done. They are a great team! Today Matt and his crew completed a furnace and air conditioning install to my home. They arrived as stated, worked to remove the old units and replace them with the new ones. When the work was completed the clean up was excellent. Matt and Franklin stayed behind to answer all my questions,Tested and retested the units which worked as it should. I did not have to buy a big box gift card as one dealer wanted. I didn't have to deal with a switch and bait as another. Just a good price without any stunts for the units I wanted. The installation was prompt and professional. The sales tech Ross was professional and answered all my questions of which I already knew the answers to a few of them which he answered all them of the correctly. Our A/C stopped working overnight during this heatwave. I called Arctic Air because they have the reputation as the best service. The technician arrived less than two hours after I called. He was courteous, professional, and most of all, knowledgeable. He diagnosed the power issue on the unit within 15 minutes and the issue was corrected shortly thereafter. The price for the service was more than fair. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. Further, the technician was not trying to sell me services and products that I do not need. It's reassuring that my service call was not also a sales call. Later that day, Arctic called to see how it is going and is there anything else they can do for me. I hit the trifecta. No heat on a Sunday, New Years Eve with temps in the low teens. I could not be happier! I have heat on New Years Eve after calling Arctic Air! First of all thanks to Ross the owner for reaching out TO ME after I posted to a local Facebook group for a recommendation. I think he could sense that I needed help. The serviceman Fred was excellent. Even wore protective slippers upon entering the house. This was a pretty bad one. The inductor motor was fried. Luckily for me they had the part. Ross, the owner of the company, drove the part out to Fred where he did the install. Not too many owners I know are driving around on New Year's Eve to deliver parts I would think. Artic air was recommended by Home Depot during a visit for another issue. Although I thought it was a simple cleaning it was far worse. The service technician explained the issue in simple English that I was able to understand, in turn I trusted his recommendation to move forward with s new system. Top-Notch customer service. Ross was phenomenal. Just a few days ago I had a family emergency. My in-laws (elderly) called and said their heat went out. This was 8 pm and very cold outside. After taking apart the unit I noticed it was the igniter that went out. I started making phone calls hoping I could get someone after hours. And I sure did. Ross answered the phone and after hearing me out, he left his house to go to his store and got the part for me that I needed. I met him there and It was almost 11 pm. Exceptional customer service. Recently had Arctic install a Mitsubishi split type air conditioner in my home.. From my first contact with Arctic (Bill C., Arctic's Representative) to the completed job by their expert installers (Mike T., Tom C., Nick S. and one other gentleman who did some of the electrical work), my experience with Arctic has been absolutely "5 Stars". Everyone arrived when they said they would, they did the work without complaining about the less than ideal working conditions at my home, explained, fully,how to operate the system and what to expect from it and cleaned up thoroughly after each day's work. Our experience with Arctic Air was deeply disappointing. It's evident that customer service is not a priority for this company. Not only was the work left incomplete, but they also had the audacity to request a review before even finishing the job. When we attempted to address a communication issue, we were met with rude and unprofessional responses, highlighting a glaring lack of civility. As paying customers, we expect businesses to value their clients and uphold their commitments. Unfortunately, Arctic Air fell short on every level. Last week I had a new heating system installed by Arctic Air. From start to finish we have been extremely satisfied with the service and products we received. Arctic Air replaced our furnace and ac unit approximately 6 weeks ago. Extremely pleased with the high quality of the workmanship. The intallers were very professional and friendly. They took the time to answer all our questions and made sure we were comfortable with operating the new units. After a few weeks we started getting an error message on the thermostat. Arctic air was quick to respond and fixed the problem. The service rep, Frank, was also very professional and friendly. He explained what the fix consisted of after they had consulted with Lennox. I am a comfort club member and I am very confident that I can get the service I need when I need it.
