I am being treated for Lyme disease (neuro components), gut issues, mold, & some other co infections. It is only mid way my treatment & I am already seeing amazing results with my symptoms. Dr. Parpia makes you feel very comfortable, she actually listens to you, meets with you on a weekly basis, & adjust things accordingly. This facility has an amazing integrative team. Along with medicine, their body techs are life changing! Specifically, Carol has helped me incredibly. Lastly, patty and reception & the nurses (Rex, Melissa, & Eilane) are incredible. I am here for a lengthy amount of time and they are truly help your mental state and overall health. I truly love the facility & staff & am happy that if I had to deal with this type of experience - it's in a clean, positive, warm, & comforting environment with a staff that are genuine and knowledgeable ! This review is for the Emergency Department only. I realize that some days are much busier than…read moreothers and managing for work flow can be challenging. The ED does some things very well: a dedicated nurse and doctor who triage each patient together; very friendly security guards who are helpful; polite and helpful registration people; and a separate room for families or individuals who need a dark, quiet place to wait. What is evident is: everything is resource constrained from parking to staff to chairs, to rooms, beds, doctors, nurses, etc. Some people seem to be here as if it's a convenient place to meet after tennis with the added benefit that they can get a shot for pain management. Others are splayed across sofas groaning and have been for the three hours we have been waiting for my husband to be seen for a stroke. My rating would be lower if everyone working in the ED wasn't hustling and very pleasant. They are all extremely dedicated to helping others. But, it is frustrating that resources are choked at some point and when your loved one needs emergency care that bottle neck is a huge problem.

1 star: Six hours in the "Emergency Dept" almost got us to the morning…read more I brought my father to MarinHealth's Greenbrae emergency room at 8:30 PM. He is diabetic and a kidney transplant recipient, so he is exactly the kind of patient who shouldn't be left waiting. By 2:30 AM, six hours later, he still hadn't seen a physician. During that time he vomited twice in the waiting room. No one told us whether he was allowed to drink fluids or take his medications, and those are critical questions for a patient like him. We also had to remind the triage nurse that he was supposed to give a urine sample. A patient with a transplant and diabetes who is vomiting should not have to wait six hours without a doctor or any clear communication. I'm posting this so others know what to expect and so the hospital addresses it. I understand that it is hard to run an ED. But it was agony to see my dad suffer and know that I could have brought him to another ED for more timely care.
