I sit down in the lobby scrolling through instagram. I get called up and she asks for my registration number and ID. Which is no problem, but she is SO rude for no reason. I ask how her day is going, nothing. I give her my confirmation number because i thought that's what she needed and then she proceeds to raise her voice at me and say "that's not what I need". I responded with, okay well then what do you need maam? and she rolls her eyes and is clearly aggravated and says "the paper." (Mind you I don't have any paper) I said, i'm sorry i have no idea what you're talking about. She raises her voice AGAIN and says "when you registered for this you got a paper I need to fill out!" (No I didn't.) At this point i'm near tears because i have no idea what she's talking about and she's yelling at me infront of everyone and it's 8:30 in the morning. Wayyyy too early to be in a bad mood. Anyways. I had to go through all these steps to get some "paper" that I never received in the first place and she didn't offer to even help or where i should even be looking for this "paper" so I had to call my University and go through this whole process so Maria didn't have a tantrum infront of me again. Today I went to the Labcorp location on Mason Corbin Ct after losing my ID over the weekend. Before even arriving, I explained the situation and was told I could manually check in. After sitting there for 20-30 minutes waiting, I finally got a text saying they were ready for me. The second I walked up, they asked for my ID again. I explained -- again -- that I did not have it. Instead of trying to help or handling the situation professionally, I was told they suddenly could not do the test. I immediately contacted my case manager, who stated she could verify my identity over the phone. Maria at the front desk and the testing staff said they would call her... then proceeded to ignore me for another 10 minutes while acting irritated that I was even there. The level of disrespect and lack of professionalism was unbelievable. Not once did anyone communicate clearly, apologize for wasting my time, or make any real effort to resolve the issue. If you work in a facility dealing with people under stressful circumstances, basic professionalism and communication should not be optional. This experience was disorganized, dismissive, and unnecessarily humiliating. People are not inconveniences simply because they need you to do your job.

You won't be sorry. The office, reception area and patient rooms are impeccable. My lab tech's name was Gabby, I believe. She was excellent. There is one area that I would address. The touch screens that are used by every person that enters aren't wiped down. I believe they need to be cleaned periodically throughout the day. Otherwise, I was very happy.
