It's usually an in-and-out experience even without an appointment (which we never make). I'm sorry that Deborah had a bad experience, but if I had to bet I'd guess that whoever offended her was given their walking papers because I've been helped by almost every technician and none of them have ever treated any of us rudely.

Some people really shouldn't be in healthcare services if they don't know how to behave. Other than the staff, the experience went well. The offices are well designed; spacious, comfortable, well lighted, airy with beautiful photographic prints. Much better than the cramped, overcrowded, spaces of other small offices. The lab results are quickly available. The wait time is much shorter than other commercial labs. They are better able to tackle insurance issues than other smaller labs. Truly torn between enduring the moronic staff and getting fast results. I guess you have to suffer a little for the necessary.

You will leave feeling relieved that the experience was much less stressful that you thought. I had to go in because I had pain in my left Flank for a week and I didn't have a doctor down here…read more I went on their website site and pre-registered in the morning for an 10:45am appointment time which also lets you set up your information in MyChart for correspondence and test results. I would recommend doing this if you aren't already in the system. They were very helpful when I got there to check in, I only had to wait 20 minutes to see the doctor. The doctor checked me over and was very friendly and informative, he thought it might be a kidney problem and ordered a CT scan and referred me to a Urologist. They were able to set up a CT scan that same day at 2:00pm in the afternoon down at the Bonita Health Center. I arrived at 1:50 and they got me right in for the scan, and at 2:35 the results were already in MyChart and I was able to sign in and read the test report. I would highly recommend using this facility, the care and speed getting a CT and the results the same day was outstanding.

Which has never been a problem before. My prescriptions had completely ran out and I need at least a re-up on my Dexcom monitoring device, which has nothing to do with my blood sugars other than monitoring. The nurse told me I have to be seen with bloodwork done. I told her I am in debt with LabCorp and I couldn't afford bloodwork at this moment. I just need sensors prescription re-up that will give me time to pay off LabCorp and get blood work done so they can assess my insulin needs. I've always understood the protocol and I don't have a problem with it. With even the fact that I am in a hardship situation financially she still would not do the prescription or talk to anybody about it. I have never been retreated so coldly and rudely to have a protocol put above my life. I would've even have taken a sample but no, I guess it's either get your blood work done or die. So I hope anybody reading this understands what they're getting themselves into when they go to this doctor's office. Dr. offices are supposed to help people not make things worse. I've always been a good patient for them and now it seems I am not.
