With so many locations so many times and late hours at some locations it's always easy to find a time and date that suits you best. I visited this particular location for the first time over the weekend to just do a standard bloodwork, and it was easy as pie. I made my appointment online, and when I arrived, I checked in at one of the kiosks and then sat and waited for no more than 10 minutes. I was called into exam room number five and handed over my work order, the tech reviewed it and told me exactly what there will be testing for. The woman who assisted me was extremely kind and very friendly. it took about five minutes for her to review my paperwork and then take my blood and then I was on my way. These facilities are great for people that just want to get in and get out. The test results are then emailed and texted to you once completed. It's very convenient and it's an easy way to navigate.

I had blood drawn last week and unable to get results…read more Status online stated I needed to sched appt to take sample (which I'd already completed). 2 days later, the entry disappeared and new entry appeared (erasing any record that I had been there). Tried for days to reach a human at Quest...impossible. Every recording tells you to go online. My doctor finally called for me and found out they lost my bloodwork and it would need to be done again No guarantee that if I rescheduled I would get results in time to keep my MRI appt at a hospital. which by now was less than 24 hours away. I chose to use a different lab. The new lab got me in same morning with only a 5 min wait and my results will be available before morning. I was previously a happy Quest customer so it's sad that the lack of customer care & communications forced me to leave Quest forever.

One rep told me I should fast from 12pm the night before, and my vitamins and charcoal binder are fine to continue. Another rep the previous day told me no need to fast nor stop taking the charcoal binder. Well after doing some more research I found out that I should have stopped taking the binder a few days before the test. And pricing online when I booked was $100 cheaper than what I was told on the phone. I expect a little more service for a $500 test. Step it up Any Lab Test Now! You've lost my business forever. Shame on you for messing with people's health to save a few dollars with incompetent staff.

Made an appointment for an Xray in the morning and when I showed up they could not find my appointment because it was canceled 1 minute before I walked in the door. I found out that the X-ray technician didn't show up for work. Therefore, that means there is only one person to do that job? My advice is to hire more than one person because the other Akumin office close by stopped doing X-rays 2 years ago. I guess it's not easy to get a simple X-ray nowadays. This place even calls and texts nonstop to confirm the appointment. It's almost like major harassment. If you make an appointment, you just show up and don't need a million confirmations. I definitely will NOT waste my time going back to this place for any kind of tests.

Having some experience with reading mri, I was shocked by how terse the report is with several notable areas needing comment that were missing from the report such as what appears to be edema in a couple of vertebrae (though I could be wrong about the glowing areas) of the t spine and a schmorl's node, which is obvious. However, the report just reads normal. I guess the Dr will read it on his own, and I understand why places like UM want their imaging done in house.
