Great gas station but limited food and beverage options.
    Tom G.

Cheapest gas in the area. Convenient corner location and they offer smog services if you're in need. There are limited food and beverage options inside since this isn't a typical AM/PM location. There are, however, great food options nearby (the habit, chick-fil-a, five guys) if you need to make a quick food and gas stop off the 101.

    The best prices in town!

Sheriff's Department Thousand Oaks 2101 E Olsen Rd,…read moreThousand Oaks, CA 91360 Reference: Incident Number 23-86415 Date of Incident: 6 July 2023 9:39 pm Location of Incident: USA Gasoline 1715 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91362, Tel.: (805) 496-8045 On 6 July 2023 at approximately 8:30 pm I visited USA Gasoline at 1715 E Thousand Oaks Blvd to replenish the fuel in my vehicle. I have been to that gas station dozen of time over years. Upon arrival, I went to the building to pay cash and the attendant and his patron started changing the door sign from OPEN / CLOSED back and forth within about 2 second intervals. The door was open, so I entered and requested $50.00 of pump gas. Jose took the MONEY and then stalled looking out of the window and fidgeting with items on the countertop. I asked if the station was open for service, and Jose became hostile and threatening. Jose then provided a RECEIPT and continued with his threats. I left the building and went to the gas pump and no gas was dispensed as the pump was subsequently manually disabled by Jose. The pump indicators and fuel price was displayed & illuminated. I went back to the building to inquire about the disabled gas pump. Jose stated to leave the fuel station. The Sheriffs Deputies were called to respond to this incident of theft.1 I did not get the fuel service, and I did not get back my money until arrival of the Sheriffs Deputies at approximately 9:00 pm. Other customer pumps were operational, and Jose did not offer alternate methods of payment such as point-of-purchase cards. This is the second interaction with Jose as the first was his employment at Jiffy Lube at 2905 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. On 28 April, 2023 he refused service bypassing me to another customer and I had to get service from another technician. The customer stated "I believe this gentleman was ahead of me", but that did not deter Jose from refusing service.2 1 Penal Code § 484(a) PC sets forth the California crime of "petty theft", which is defined as wrongfully taking or stealing someone else's property when the value of the property is $950.00 or less. Up to 6 months in county jail. 2 The Unruh Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code Section 51) provides protection from discrimination by all business establishments in California, including housing and public accommodations, because of age, ancestry, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex and sexual orientation. On a side note, although it was dusk with reduced visibility I notice Jose red truck has tires that protrude the vehicle frame (not confirmed by inspection).3 3 When you're driving in California, you have to abide by regulations that limit how far your tires can stick out from the vehicle. These limits are set to avoid accidents and protect you and other drivers. The maximum allowable tire width is 4 inches, and the maximum allowable tire height is 2 inches. This is determined by measuring the distance from the center of the tread to the edge of the tire. If your tires are more than two inches from the wheel well and you have less than four inches of remaining width on each side, you will be required to replace them.

This location used to be an ARCO. I noticed they moved to a fancier location further East on T.O…read more Blvd. I'd forgotten that this was now USA Gasoline on T.O. Blvd. at Erbes. They freshened up the convenience store with an exterior paint job, but the overall property is not the most scenic in town. Very utilitarian, with the added "feature" of several bags of trash on the ground in front of the shop. The pumps have various bells and whistles, but don't collect cash like the pay stations at ARCO. Have to pay inside, but you can receive the receipt right from the pump. Be careful if you exit onto Erbes, as cars can come whipping around the corner off T.O. and there's not a lot of distance to spare. Prices are lower than the national brands, but not the lowest in the area.

2 out of 5 stars -- Rocket 76 Gas Station (Newbury Park, CA)…read moreI've been stopping at Rocket 76 to purchase gasoline there for years, and it's been consistently frustrating. Many of the pumps are often closed or out of service, and the fuel prices are very high--only looking reasonable if you compare them to Mobil or Chevron. I frequently run into glitches with the gas pumps, one issue after another, and when I go to the booth for assistance, I often end up waiting several minutes for an attendant to show up. All in all, this is a self‑serve gasoline station that's usually too crowded, has broken or closed pumps, expensive fuel, and enough pump problems to stress me out just trying to make a simple purchase of gasoline.

Stopped here for gas. I stood there for a almost 3-5min waiting for someone to come to the window,…read more thinking it was closed and finally the guy shows up. I made small talk with him asking about him working on TG , and wished him a Happy THANKSGIVING but he proceeded to ask why he should be happy for "killing Indians"....WHOA! Uh OH K....SIR, I JUST WANT GAS Anyway, this spot is ok....I mean, gas was cheaper around the corner which I discovered after the fact but oh well. Gotta get gas regardless of cost. High gas is high gas. getting to almost$5 YIKES!!! I'd stop here again as I have been here once before. Make your employees a lil more Friendlier though... dude seemed bitter! Where was he at in this small space when I arrived?
