I purchased the $7 car wash this evening. However, it seemed to stop in the middle of the wash, so my car was soaking wet! I waited for a minute to see if it would start back up again...and nothing. I drove out of the wash and told the gal at the register. She said your car only gets partially dry with the $7 wash, the cheapest wash. Hmm, the dryer didn't even come on, so I'm thinking it might be baloney. Well, I'm thankful she gave me a full refund, although I'll have to remind myself to never come back for a car wash. FYI - currently their pay machine at the wash entrance is only taking cash, no credit cards. read more

I stopped here at 4 am to try to use the bathroom before my 5am - 5am shift. I am a nurse. I work double majority of the time and I like stop places before I use to restroom becauae I'm coming a long way ( 1hour drive) I asked if I can use the restroom even if I purchase something and the guy said "no". I didn't argue I just left but I thought that is was very disrespectful and you shouldn't turn down a customer even if they are making a $5 purchase of something I do not need. I don't come to this Shell regularly, but I do drop by if I happen to be in the area and need gas. There isn't usually a rush during weekdays in general. However, the place tends to be packed on weekends. Prices are competitive with other gas stations in the area. There are two entrances, and the location is quite convenient given how close it is to the Moorpark exit from 101. I have never been inside the convenience store, so I am unable to comment on it. The car wash could be better. It does a decent job, and it is quite affordable with three different options to choose from. However, when I last went through it, my front window was not dried properly. The other windows were fine though. In addition, it is super hard to enter at an awkward angle! It also does not allow certain larger size vehicles from entering due to its limited size. All in all, if you are in the area and desperately need gas, this is a decent location. If you are not in a rush though, there are better options to choose from close by. read more

The power died during my car wash during 8am. I came that early because I like the convenience and don't like waiting in line. I got out of my soap-covered car and asked for a refund. Tony told me he couldn't help me. He told me to come back and gave me the number of the manager. I called the manager, who seemed irritated that I was contacting him. He told me he would contact me when the power was back on. I text Tony, and asked him to contact me when the power was back on as well. He said he would. Around 1:00pm, I contacted the shell station and asked Tony if the power was back on. He said yes, and told me to contact him again in 5 minutes. I called 5 minutes later. He didn't pick up. I called 10 minutes after, he told me that I needed to come to the station if I wanted a refund. I showed up, he asked me how much I paid, and gave me the cash. I left. Here's why I am going to look for a new place and sharing my experience: I loved your car wash for its convenience, and the whole experience was incredibly inconvenient. I wasn't offered anything for my trouble like a free wash or something, and I can't imagine why he couldn't just give me 10 cash in the first place. Here's how you can improve for next time: have a way to access the register if the power goes out, have a hose or something if it happens again, and if nothing else, offer a refund over the phone. read more

I come here out of convenience for gas, but normally I go to the one on Raz Adobe and they are great. I use the car wash here last week which was on April 6, and I didn't have time to check my car after the wash. I noticed that when I got to my final destination, the back of my cross track was not even touched by the car wash. I came back today a week later to tell the same woman who was at the cast register about the issue and she made me pay for another car wash. She told me that I should've told her about the issue right away. I let her know that it's not normal for people to usually get a car wash and check it out right away when they're in a hurry, however, she did not give me another car wash. She was very rude. The manager at the shell is very amazing. Somehow I left my wallet in the bathroom. As soon as I realized I left it I called and the manager had found it. He is very trusting considering there was $1200 inside the wallet. Whoever hired him should keep on to this guy. read more

So I had bought a car wash and it says expires 5/30/2021... it is 04/06/2021 and I go to get a car wash and it says that it expired and is not going to be accepted. Horrible experience as usual at Shell. Worst company. No wonder they are in relation to Jiffy Lube who totaled my car a few years back and did nothing to justify it. read more

I stop here if I need to fill up the car on my way home. Standard station and easy to use pumps. I've only been in the mini mart once or twice but found it to be usual too. Not the cheapest in town, but more convenient than many in terms of access if you're traveling South on Moorpark Rd towards the 101. read more

I paid $9.00 for a Car Wash, and my car isn't clean My car wasn't even that dirty, but I'm going on a long drive and wanted the majority of the dust off, and figured this place would do it better and quicker than I could with my garden hose. Well, it didn't. If you were to take a brand new shiny car into this car wash, would you expect it to be as clean or LESS clean? Because it would be less clean. The air dryer doesn't function as one might think. It pushes water into a thick line going down the middle of your car, so you're going to have to get a towel and dry this off yourself, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it air clean. Moral of this story: Always bring a towel. read more

*STEALS CREDIT CARD INFORMATION* Do NOT use this gas station. My credit card would not go through; it said "See Attendant". The gas station worker said use another one; same thing "See Attendant". He disregarded me and said there's a problem with the card. I left, annoyed at the situation. Days later - I get a call from my credit card company with FRAUD ACTIVITY. Over $1300 spent! The lady said that gas stations record the credit card information, even when you don't purchase gas; once you swipe your card, the information is recorded. Now I get to fill out paperwork and go through the fraud procedure which takes a few weeks, at least 30 days. AVOID THIS GAS STATION read more

Be very careful about buying gas at this station. I bought my car new and it is now over 10 years old. I have ALWAYS used Shell gas. I filled up at this station and the reading on the pump said I put in A LOT of gas. While I can't say how many gallons I think I should have been charged for -- I KNOW MY CAR-- and this just wasn't right. I've never had this feeling before. Then, some months later, I was stupid enough to go to this station again. Again, I filled up. This time I didn't feel a "red flag" about the number of gallons I was charged for. However, my car FLEW through this tank of gas. I usually get a good 100 miles more per tank. I don't think they used Shell gas. I think they used some lower quality gas and charged Shell prices. I can't prove any of the above, but I've never had things like this happen before. If you can go to another station, I would. read more

The gas station attendant had a goofy hat on... a happy, friendly guy! I wish there were more people like this in the world.

I've just used the gas station a few times and on both occasions my credit card was hit up with hundreds of dollars of fraudulent credit card charges the next day. I noticed that other yelpers had the same "coincidence" I have reported this to my credit card company and will be reporting to Shell's corporate office. read more

If you are in a hurry or do have time to waste (like all of us) do not go there. You'll see why I'm talking about. Their gas pump dispenses at a slow speed, like freakin slow. . Like really !
