Kelly and Mathew are so kind and helpful, and just all around pleasant to deal with. I have a brand new Honda Accord that unfortunately had some rodent damage. The Honda dealership had the nerve to quote me $5,800 to repair it, admitting they needed to do more work than necessary for "liability purposes." I decided to bring it here instead since I know a couple people who have been very happy with their work. My car was fixed for way, way, way cheaper than Honda quoted me and I am so happy and relieved. My family has been frequenting Chevron Automotive at the Chevron Gas Station for several years , and just recently , I realized why . My brake fluid system failed on Saturday right in front of the station. Jose came out , led me into the gas station , and went through all of the possibilities of what had happened. I left my car there and ubered back home. Kelly called me bright and early the next day and explained what had happened. Not only did they order the part and fix my brakes , replace my coolant container and give me an oil change , but they gave me several suggestions of things I needed to do Soon that would be overdue and possibility detrimental. I have been here a few times, so I figured I ought to leave a review. While I do not visit this gas station regularly, I do drop by if I happen to be in the area. This Chevron is located quite close to the 101 freeway. Gas prices tend to be competitive and fair. There are 16 pumps, so there is never a huge wait. They seem well maintained. The squeegees here always seem in nice condition, and they do a fine job in cleaning my car windows. I have never been in the supermarket, so I can not comment on it. Overall, I recommend this Chevron if you are in the area. read more

All I can say is "Ouch!" Can they ever get something done right the first time?" They are a AAA certified shop that must have problems with their mechanics training. Give them two weeks to change an a/c pump as they won't get It right the first time! So sad to have to report this incident I had over the summer. read more

Standard gas station, in a somewhat inconvenient location. Since moving jobs to westlake village, this has quickly become one of my go-to spots for gas, for lack of better options. While I much prefer ARCO in terms of price, the gas here is supposedly higher quality, as it has "techron" in it, which is a fuel additive that meets top tier standards for gas cleanliness. It has been agreed upon that this gas leads to better performance in engines by BMW, GM, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Audi. Whether or not this is true is up for debate. The gas is equally priced in the area, and located next to a nice golf course. They have roughly 12 pumps, so finding an opening usually doesn't take too long. This station features a few parking spots on the far end, as well. For the gas quality, and the fact that this station is equally priced to the other stations in the surrounding vicinity, I will be back. If in the area, and in need, give this place a shot. I just wish it was more accessible getting to and from the freeway. read more

What a wonderful repair facility here in our own backyard! We've known the owners Kelly and Jan since her father started the business back in The 70's! That said I wanted to tell you about how they stand behind their work. A few months ago our Saturn Aura which is no longer being manufactured had a problem with its starter. Kelly the owner replaced the starter and it went bad a week later. He replaced it again and it went bad a week later again. Of course we were frustrated but they got to the bottom of it and found that there was a bad batch of parts from the distributer. He was so apologetic about the issue, got it done right and reminded us about his 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty. His honestly is unparalleled! Yeah so first things first... The map is wrong. I tell ya the map is wrong! This Chevron is actually on the corner of Agoura Rd. and Lindero Canyon but the map suggests that it's further down on Agoura Rd. That said, it implicitly supports my argument for this review in the first place. Y'see, I'm thinking ahead. Yelp grows up, the Yelp community grows... they just launched Yelp! mobile, right? So you're zooming down 101 towards LA and you need gas. You say 'Yelp gas' into your cell phone and it brings back Yelp! reviews for the nearest gas stations. So just know, if you're reading this on your windshield while driving down at 60 miles an hour... if you go to this Chevron location, you will get gas at a decent price. They even have a food store where you can pick up Red Bull Next Generation and a pack of Camels...oh no wait, these are illegal now, aren't they? Anyway the whole point of this review is that you cannot make a U turn. You can't simply get off 101 South and exit at Lindero, fill up on gas, do a U turn and get back on the freeway. They do not allow U-turns here, so you'd have to go down a couple of blocks on Agoura to do your U-turn. Then again, you're probably reading this at home wondering who's got so much free time that they are reviewing gas stations? Well, there you go... read more

Good gas station, good people, good mechanics (several) and smog services. They've gotten me out of a pinch a few times. Fuel prices are a bit high, but the Oil Company dictates the price (Zone Pricing) when they are close to the freeway. They try selling any lower and the oil company will go "No Fuel for You!!" The confusion is this was built as an Atlantic Richfield station (before ARCO) in ~1965 and they went to Union 76 in the 80's, and went Chevron maybe 10 years ago. Map: they are on the Northwest corner with Golf Course. (Don't turn into the Golf Course Maintenance driveway off Lindero! One more...) There IS an easy place to U-Turn legally about 100 yards west down Agoura Road at the driveway for the condos, then left at the Lindero signal and right back on the freeway. And you can come inside when the Convenience Store is open - I've never seen them use the drawer-slide, but it's there. Don't know what Vince K's problem is - if your car has got serious problems and won't pass smog without major repairs, that's not the mechanic's fault. They're only the messenger. (Been There, had to spend $1500 on new truck catalysts...) read more

So, I was waiting to fix a broken sensor on one of my tires as the quotes everywhere seemed really high. When my windshield washer suddenly stopped working, I decided to bring my car into Westlake Chevron to fix that and at the same time, thought I might get a quote on the sensor. I had seen the reviews and thought it couldn't hurt to get yet another one. Well, I'm glad I did as Kelly's quote was less than everyone else. He was also very reasonable with how much he charged to fix the washer. If that wasn't enough, he also reset a warning light that had come on recently. Because I honestly don't know a lot about what's going on under the hood of my car, he could have told me there was actually an expensive problem, but he explained everything and informed me that there was actually nothing I needed to worry about. When I was about to pick up the car, I told him I forgot about a piece that had broken off in my back seat. He said "don't worry about it" and when I showed up, it was fixed and he didn't even charge me for it! All I can say is this place is great. I will definitely trust them with any and all work on my family's cars in the future. So happy I found them. read more

Review for Cory and the auto service. While I didn't actually get any work done I'd be tempted to drive down from Santa Cruz to deal with these guys again. AAA towed my car here after breaking down on the freeway. Key dropped it on a Sunday night and continued to a 4 day biz meeting in Ojai. Cory got back to me and sadly reported the engine was blown... I won't get into the drama i put the guy through for the next 5 days but after it all he wouldn't take a dime from me when I finally got it out of there and to a Dealer for a trade in. I've been around. Overpriced gas. This station has inaccurate (possibly fraudulent) manipulation of pump meters. Pumps indicate less fuel is paid for than is physically pumped into your vehicle. I do not know what government agency to notify about this. If anyone knows, please tell. read more

Bored and slow and highly disinterested service pump attendants here. It's raining today. I normally don't do full-service, but pulled up and waited about five minutes and no one came outside. I walked into the gas station to ask if there was any full-service pump attendant today to which the elderly gentleman behind the cashier replied, after he looked to his right at two servicemen and said, hey? Is anyone on the pump today? They all looked at each other and looked at me and looked at each other again. Then the third one said yeah I'll be out there. It was five minutes later when he came sauntering out clearly annoyed that he had to do his job. Convenient location off the highway, but stick to self serve or find another station. ;) read more

I first went to this station for car repair 2 years ago with a flat. The guys, Kelly and Cory seemed nice so I went back. I have since had 2 large repairs and several oil changes. The guys have done a great job, no re-occurring problems. I would go back and highly recommend based on my experiences. Stopped in to fill up my work vehicle this afternoon after being on the road for 3 hours with 2 hours more to drive. Requested to use the bathroom before buying some munchies inside their walk- in convenience store. The gal at the register politely informed me "it was out of order". Told her I wouldn't have stopped in (and pumped $54 in gas) had I known beforehand their bathroom wasn't available. After briefly returning to my vehicle, I went back inside to get a printed receipt. There was an older guy with a beard and tattoos talking to the cashier who told me he was the owner. Told him I believed it was reasonable and fair to make a bathroom available to paying customers. He proceeded to passionately flail his arms about and unapologetically lecture me about "there's a virus you know" and "I need to protect my employees from the virus"....and... I suppose we pesky and potentially virus contaminated customers as well...I call BS... Permanently "out of order" bathrooms are a way for some businesses to eliminate customer "necessities" while still keeping the store open to sell overpriced food and drink items . I won't be back and will be sure to tell my fellow workers as well. Ironically the next service station I stopped at had a clean bathroom which they kindly provide customers. read more

Kelly & His Father own it. Excellent service. I live out of state and trusted them with my daughters car. They are honest and very good. Kelly went out of his way to make sure my daughters car was safe and when there was an issue a few days later on something else he stepped up and made sure that it was all taken care of. His wife did the billing and they all made sure that my kid was totally taken care of and that I was informed with every piece of information needed. FYI...the map is right. There used to be a Chevron station at the corner of Agoura Rd and Lakeview Canyon. Back then, the one at Lindero Canyon and Agoura Rd also used to be a 76 dealer. Nothing like a little change to really confuse things. Regardless, the station at Lindero Cyn and Agoura Rd is great... one of the few stations still around that also has a mechanic...and a good one at that!!!! read more
