I took my truck to get a carwash last July. The guys cleaning the inside put a very large hole on the dash. I saw when the incident took place but when he handed me the keys I questioned the guy about the large hole. He tried to pretend he didn't know what I was talking about. I pointed at the hole and said "There, that hole. What happened there?" He gave me a dumb founded look and called a supervisor. He explained to his supervisor that he had accidently broken the dash while wiping it down. The supervisor, Jose, apologized but said he couldn't authorize a repair without the manager's approval. I was later contacted via phone by Adolfo who said he his operations manager Kevin, would not authorize the repair. I asked to speak to Kevin directly and Adolfo contacted him and connected a three-way phone conversation with me. Kevin was very rude, defensive and confrontational from the minute we began our conversation. He kept saying "Let me tell you what I'm NOT going to do for you!! I'm not going to buy you a new dash!!!" He repeated that several times. He insulted me several times by offering me a free carwash then a free sandwich. He told me he might authorize a dash cover but I had to go buy it myself and he would later reimburse me. He told me that his staff was not responsible for the damage caused. He failed to explain to me how it is possible for one of his employee to cause damage to a vehicle and still not be responsible for it. If he is not responsible, who is? I told him that his behavior was a sign of very poor customer service and I would be reluctant to ever step foot on his station again. He told me "I'm done, the offer is off the table; I'm not dealing with you, I'll deal with you Monday!!!" Then he hung up on me. I'm very disappointed with how poorly this incident was handled. I have been a loyal customer of this station for many years. The customer service was not always the greatest, the staff was not always friendly but this was ultimately the biggest slap in the face. I would hope that someone at your corporate office takes notice of this very horrible and unprofessional display of behavior. read more
