Well, the pump accepted my Chevron gas card, and gave a small discount. But the display was upside down. It's a big station with wide islands. Appears to have a carwash and taqueria. It has a food mart. I stopped here at around 7pm to get gas and use the restroom. Also, to take a break before heading up North Vasco Road. If you're new to the area, North Vasco Rd between Livermore and Brentwood is one of the most dangerous roads in the SF Bay Area. There's been many safety improvements, but all it takes is one bad or sleepy driver to ruin your day. If you feel tired, stop and take a break. So I went inside the food mart to survey the snacks and use the toilet. The cooler had beer, sodas, waters and energy drinks. Typical gas station snacks. No key for restroom. The bathroom was OK for a mensroom, but maybe not OK for an all gender restroom. It looked a bit sloppy. I think I understand why people don't stop here. Would I return? Only for the gas.

It's easy to get to from I-580 West from the Springtown exit. I was at this gas station on June 21, and Reg UL was selling at $4.90/gal. Yes, the price is a little high, but the location is right next to the freeway. This station also features a 24-hour Food Mart & Liquors, and a Taqueria. If all you do is buy gas here, you might notice that the pumps look old. While the Food Mart and Taqueria look clean and fresh, the pumps look the same as they did years ago.

They watched us carefully as we walked around the store to purchase snacks. Once we got to register, the employee then decided to knock our beverages down and laughed about it with their coworker. After getting our change back, the cashier refused to give us a receipt after requesting one and then proceeded to talk in their foreign language to us. But the rear hatch area was zebra'd (Stripes of dirt and cleanliness) and the hood didn't seem like it was cleaned at all. I was okay that their wash never could clean the rear window of my hatch well, but having to wipe down the entire rear area of the car and the hood after the wash was ridiculous. Did they also start using cheaper cleansers? did they misadjust after the latest installation, something, but $16.00 from $12.00 and I feel I need to wash it again, sucks!
