I never delayed any payments with them，it was $150kproject，I always pay what they asked for even though their work keep delaying . Sam's guy also left my brand new door frame broken and his guy said it'll be covered，but after I fully paid and tried to get my door frame invoice （which not even $200）reimbursed，I never heard back of both Sam and Anna. Sam ignored my calls and messages，but he returned my call by accident and ironically because he thought I am the new client who is going to make payment. READ BEFORE YOU GO. We purchased hardwood floors from them two months ago in March ($30k+). We were told delivery in about 8 weeks. Anna ignored my emails for 2 months. She finally emailed me saying the floor was in and being prepared for delivery. A few days later I heard from the owner, Serob "Sam" Habesyan, who said there was a "warehouse error" and our floors were "accidentally released without proper verification." We knew something was wrong and went directly to the floor distributor and received confirmation that THERE WAS NO ORDER EVER PLACED by ArchStone Design Kitchen Bath & Flooring. They took our money, never placed the order, and have refused to refund our $30k+. It is a terrible situation. I want to make sure no one else has to go through this. We looked up Sam, and his contractor's license is currently suspended. If you search Sam's license number 972249 on the Contractors State License Board website, it says the following: "License is under suspension for the following reasons: - License is suspended for failure to comply with an outstanding civil judgment. - License suspended for failure to comply with a bond payout. - License is under Contractors Bond Suspension. A contractor's bond may have been received by the Board but not yet processed. Once the bond is processed the suspension will be lifted retroactively to the effective date of the bond. Ask the contractor for proof of a contractor's bond and contact the bonding company to verify bond status." read more

Anna was just so helpful. I don't understand all the old one star reviews prior to 2020 - maybe a change in management happened. I was a walk in at 3:50, just before their posted close time. Anna spent an hour with me to look at tiles. I'd already been to Marble Bros, who didn't really stand out in terms of helpfulness but they had a huge inventory, so I generally knew what to ask for. I'd also been to another tile place that was asking for exorbitant prices. I walked out without committing to anything. Anna took a couple days to send the quote, but after she did with the full SKUs, I called around for pricing, then called her up and asked for a price match - she agreed. I then came in again, and she again spent another hour with me as my wife and I went back and forth via text to find the right set of shower walls, shower floor/shelf, and bathroom floor. She was truly so patient and nice throughout. She price matched again, cut prices down a tad more, then I again walked out without committing. She even identified one tile that was priced more attractively than the original one I looked at. Called her up after and finally paid for and scheduled delivery (only $30 to deliver to Sherman Oaks). While this store is smaller than others, Anna really knew her stuff. I'd tell her which tiles I was looking for by name, and she knew where they were in her store. I also had some pretty high demands on color, texture, polish, and even when I said no to her favorites, she took it in stride and adjusted her tactics to find us the right materials for our criteria. Ask for Anna when you go in. She's amazing. read more

It was a lot of work (2 days x 8 hours a day) but their attention to detail, professionalism, and overall process was fantastic. Getting new counters wasn't originally part of my renovation budget, but it was an investment worth making and the payoff was fantastic. They were able to work with my budget and help me pick out a stone that was even better than what I had initially hoped for. Depends on how much risk you're willing to take during Omicron. There's a sign requesting masks to be worn at the door. But we were inside for less than two minutes and saw two people without a mask. Maybe this is common in the Valley, since we're coming from Central LA? So we left before really looking at any tile. Someone (who was masked) was ready to help us when we entered, so that's a plus. But won't be coming back here while there's a pandemic with an unvaccinated toddler. read more

So my issue is with the unprofessionalism with their service! I bought backsplash from this company, hired workers, and when they went to pick up my Order, the people at the store gave my guys the WRONG TILE!!! Thank God I was home to see my workers take out the tile so I could stop them! When I called the company they couldn't answer my questions until 45 minutes later! Not a SINGLE APOLOGY OR RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN! Not only was I LATE for work because of their mess up, but I had to pay my workers hourly to do nothing because no one on their end would give me answers for almost an hour! We are giving 4 stars at the current time because their showroom is lovely and Alex and Sam have been very kind and so far attentive. We hired ArchStone Design to install our cabinets and possibly our counter top. Our home sustained a fire on February 16. and our kitchen, which had custom cabinets, was fully destroyed. I'm suppose to receive a 3D/diagram of our kitchen by tomorrow. I will update and rewrite this review once the job is completed. ArchStone Design was recommended to us by "Restoration Masters", who by the way, we absolutely adore, because they came in and took care of us to the fullest soon after the fire happened. We are huge yelp reviewers, writers and raters. Alex and Sam came out and were indeed very kind and also offered us a few discounts to help us to stay within our budget. --Their design team doesn't know how to give good instructions to the cabinet manufacturer, so some pieces were ill-fitted. --The cabinet installation team didn't install several pieces correctly, and it took 5 times longer to install then we were told. Having kids with no kitchen for weeks longer than expected was not fun. --Their flooring team was twice the price of the contractor we ended up using, and in hindsight I'm glad I didn't use them because I fear the quality might have been as poor as their cabinet installation team. --As problems came up later, they lied and blamed us for their shoddy work. I still gave them 2 stars because the cabinet manufacturer did great work on the pieces, so at least they made good choices there. But all the other moving parts were not the quality they promised. I visited this showroom to find a unique mosaic for my bathroom project. I was overwhelmed by their collection of mosaics. I found some really elegant stuff with natural stone and the employees are really polite and knowledgeable about many different stuff. They informed me the installation process and even showed me photos of the item installed which helped a lot making the decision. Couldn't be happier with my new bathrooms! From the jump, I needed an all-inclusive contractor to renovate the 2.5 baths in my condo. I can't say enough good things about Arch Stone - Sam & Anna. May anyone looking to re-model (we did our kitchen) be fortunate enough to work with them. We did a total kitchen re-model: demo'ed the kitchen, installed new floors, cabinets, Cambria CounterTop, new appliances, handles/faucets, backsplash and paint. Sam as the contractor handled everything for us (we went elsewhere for both the appliances and cabinets only). The floor tile, backsplash, and Cambria countertop (as well as the cabinet and sink hardware) we ordered from Anna. They were a pleasure to work with - on top of the job; Sam was careful to have a "steady flow" of work being doing with minimal to no lag time. Had a great experience here! Mike provided me with the best customer service. White hexagonal tile for our bathroom is what I was looking for and he sent many pictures of what they had in stock in a very prompt manner. In store I decided on one that I had actually seen in person at another store for a lower price. He wasn't able to match but very close and I chose to by from him because of the customer service being top notch. He even worked to get the tile sooner than the other place.
