But for being a "master stylist", Debbie has messed up my haircut not once, but twice. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but that was a mistake and i hated my hair until it could grow out and mask the issues. Any good stylist should not have that problem. That was 2 months ago. I'm writing this review now because i went to a korean salon and they cut my hair 100x better than what i had before Uneven sides, bad blunt cuts, poor layers that made my hair lay flat, and she seemed to be unsure of doing hairstyles that weren't your typical asian haircut. She'll follow instructions one moment, then ignore a different set of instructions the next this salon is overpriced. I was charged $300 for hair services which i later found out was a scam because other salons do it at $150. you pay 30 for a men trim that only covers your side and back that Debbie rushes through and finishes in 10 minutes. This is ok for fades but just go to a barber for cheaper... any korean hairstyle out there that isn't two block will look off with only your side and back trimmed but the top growing too long If you're not specifically looking for an asian stylist, yes, I could recommend this salon if not for the surplus in costs. But if you have korean/asian hair like me I recommend just going to an actual korean salon.

The decor and colours are soft and cute. My sister and I were seated in the middle we were offered water or tea. The seating wasn't totally comfortable for my back but ok. The two ladies who did our pedicures were friendly and not overly talkative. It was a relaxing experience with the foot soak and scrub, paraffin wax treatment, and cleaned up toes and polish. The foot scrub came in various scents which we got to choose from and there were lots of different polish colours. My feet were left feeling smooth and refreshed, perfect for my vacation!

Thanks to 1 reviewer, they have improved returning calls, and if you don't get to talk to an actual person, leave a message and someone will call you back and book your appointment for you. Slots for appointments fill up pretty fast, so as soon as you think you need an appointment with them book it as fast as you can. They are now taking emails so that they can send you an email confirmation and reminder as to when your appointment is, which I think is pretty cool especially if you're forgetful-saves you time calling them back again and asking when your next appointment is. They do accept walk ins but, they rather have you call in for an appointment. Sometimes they run behind especially when someone has stubborn hair or when instead of 1 service, client decides to have 3 services or a full face done or something like that so, it's not always entirely staff's fault that they are running behind. Usually they tell you when they are running behind and they do apologize for the wait, they generally do not like to make their clients wait. There are 5 wonderful ladies who does threading. They are professional and nice. All of them are very good and if you want to try them all to see who you most prefer to do it for you all the time, you can; and then you can request that particular person to do it for you every time. So far I have tried 3 ladies: Sandeep, Noor and Jessi and they're all very good... My favourite hair stylist is Noralyn, she did my cut and colour so nice that I have found my stylist! The price is not bad either compared to going to the mall and paying lots of $$$$. They do also offer facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, shellac, tinting, makeup application, laser hair removal, hair cuts and styling.. one of the cheapest I've seen in the city for blowouts! ;) Right now they are offering a promo on Mani and Pedi and Laser Hair Removal. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to friends and family. If you ever have a problem with the service just call them or come see them and explain what happened and the owner/manager is very understanding and respectful. You can even bring your babies or kids with you when you get your threading or waxing done or they can wait in the waiting area. I took 1 star away because as many of the ladies want gel nails, they don't offer it and they don't have an official website and Facebook page. They also don't do hair extensions, if you have those clip-on ones they can clip it on for you but they don't have it for sale in-house nor do they glue them on . The stylist was very rough on mom's little, old head. She manhandled her enough to break her necklace. She lost some of her freshwater pearls. Then came the blow-out. The gift card promotion was misleading, and when I questioned how it was being handled, the company did not honor what I understood to be advertised. What made the situation even more concerning was the handling of the gift card balances. What is especially concerning is that I had two gift cards that were actually on my account, while another two were gifts that had never even been added to my account. Yet somehow, there were questions surrounding balances and transactions on those cards as well. The whole situation left me with serious concerns about how the gift card balances and transactions were being managed. When I reached out to try to resolve the issue, I expected someone to look into it professionally and work toward a reasonable solution. Instead, the communication turned into an ongoing back-and-forth argument. Rather than trying to understand the customer's concern or find a resolution, the person handling the matter seemed more interested in defending their position and insisting on their own interpretation of the rules. I want to be clear that the staff I have dealt with in person have actually been the best part of this company. They have been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Unfortunately, the experience dealing with the owner or whoever deals with their email communication has been the complete opposite. The lack of customer service, willingness to listen, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Customers should not have to argue repeatedly to have a company properly investigate a gift card balance or explain unexplained transactions. If a promotion is advertised, customers should be able to rely on those terms, and if there is a misunderstanding, the company should be willing to work with the customer rather than simply dismissing the concern. My advice: be very cautious when purchasing gift cards from this company. Based on my experience, I would not purchase them again. It has completely changed my perception of the business, which is unfortunate because the staff themselves have been wonderful.
