Bottomless Brunch at Arcadia was a great time. Reservations were set and they seated us promptly. Service was excellent and the vibe was on point. Great music selection. I had the shakshuka (eggs, tomatoes, peppers, onions, feta and herbs), which looks small but really packs a lot in that small cast iron skillet. A delicious bite every time. Very bell pepper heavy and served with a side of pita bread. Delicious! Pro tip, if you choose the bottomless option, everyone at the table must, as well. Good to mention that you can mix drinks and you don't have to stick with one choice. Drinks are served in small plastic cups but the drinks kept on coming so small, medium or large glasses, it didn't matter. The well never ran dry until WE decided to. My friends and I had reservations for brunch and we were so excited to meet up for the first time in months. We were looking forward to great food and service after seeing all the reviews for this spot. Instead we were met with rude staff that rushed us out. It was a very quiet and rainy Saturday afternoon, so the restaurant was mostly empty. There were many empty tables and only two other tables being occupied at the time. After we ordered our apps and entrées, we were "checked in on" almost every 5 to ten minutes, asking if they can pack away our food. We were still ordering food and wanted to add on the bottomless brunch drink option, but were rudely told we were already there for too long. The bottomless brunch drink option was for 90 minutes, and we wanted to be able to drink and chat since it was cold and raining outside. Again, the restaurant was mostly empty, and we were the only ones being rushed to leave, even though the other two tables had been there just as long as we were. We were also the only people of color, so it felt awful that were the only ones being rushed to leave. We ordered so much more than the other tables, were being polite and considerate to not be too loud, didn't bother anyone, and yet we were still treated like they didn't want our patronage. My roommate and I ordered from this restaurant on 3/12/26, and I got the fig & goat cheese flatbread. Not only was it missing the arugula and balsamic reduction, but there was either a rock or a piece of metal in my food. I bit down on a piece of the flatbread and heard a crunch--the type that scraped my teeth and felt really gritty--and this registered right after I'd already swallowed a little bit of my food. I then spit out the rest into a napkin and was shocked to find a gritty, metallic sediment that left a metallic taste in my mouth. Out flew three different pieces of said substance. I thought it might be a severely burnt almond, but it didn't taste charred at all--it tasted earthy, if you will. Hopefully this didn't do any damage to my teeth/enamel and won't cause any gastrointestinal issues. Naturally, I'm grossed out and disappointed, and I won't be eating here everrrr again. read more

Came here on a warm and sunny Friday afternoon for happy hour and it did not disappoint! They had both drink and food happy hour menus which I really appreciate. The drinks were really good and I appreciate their attention to detail on the rim and the fresh fruit. I really liked the pineapple coconut margarita with a toasted coconut rim and my friend really liked their regular margarita. Our server was really nice and was very attentive. They asked what type of rim my friend wanted on their margarita and chose a black salt rim. The poutine was really good, but we both thought the greek chicken pita and fries was our favorite. The warm and soft pita along with the juicy chicken and spicy feta made it really good! And the fries were also a really good standout with a light batter and super crispy. Only wish there was some greens in the pita, but we really couldn't complain. On happy hour, it was $14 and it came with fries! We only wished we were more hungry so we could try more things. The vibe inside is modern and the opened retractable front walls made it feel nice and airy. We opted to sit in the back patio area where they had their own garden of herbs and a white lattice ceiling grid of fake ivy which was cute. This review is based off 1 visit with a party of 9 on a Saturday night. A bunch of us came here to celebrate a friend's promotion. It was PACKED. There was a birthday event happening at the same time and the back of the establishment had a good amount of people as well. Nonetheless, the service was impeccable. We were well taken care of and never had to wait long for their attention. Now for the goods. We did notice that the food did take some time to come out, especially when compared to how fast our drinks came out. I ordered the Loaded Chili Fries to share with a friend, and we both thought they were great. The fries were crispy on the outside with a soft interior even under the pile of chili. I also ordered the Hot Toddy and the Cinnamon Maple Whisky Sour cocktails. The Hot Toddy reminded me of a wassail, which is usally what I'm looking for during the holidays. The Cinanamon Maple Whisky Sour was okay but not memorable. I wish the drinks had a bit more punch to them. We recently moved to the area and this was the first place we checked out. We've returned at least twice and plan on becoming a "regular" at this spot. While it might be easier to label them a hidden gem (#1), Arcadia Bar & Kitchen has been one of the more stellar additions to the Astoria scene in recent years. They really do combine good food and drink, coupled by a spacious interior and great service. They're a superb operation and I couldn't be more impressed. They have a pretty versatile space: a sexy bar with quality bartenders to boot, an intimate interior with a contemporary vibe, and a lovely outdoors area that is perfect for patio life. They've made some really great adjustments with a very socially distant appropriate layout and a super compliant staff with masks, gloves, etc. Their comfort food laden menu is simple but excellent. I find most "bar & grill" type spots usually have killer drinks and bar friendly food but Arcadia really dials it up a notch on the food front. Their weekend brunch has garnered some serious fanfare and with atypical items like shrimp breakfast tacos, chicken & pancakes, crab cake benedict ($16), chicken & waffle sandwich ($15) and even shakshuka ($15). Throw in another $20 and it's a bottomless brunch. They offer screwdrivers, bloody marys, sangrias, bellinis, mimosas, and aperol spritz. Brunch might get all the love, but I think their dinner service is where it's at. It is a myriad of comfort food from mac and cheese to sandwich galore. I think they have a really decent poutine ($8) and a surprisingly tasty cobb salad ($13). Their B&B burger ($16) is fantastic and decked out with applewood bacon, smoked gouda, and fried onions. I also would vouch for their tuna burger ($16) and the bacon blue ($16). The truffle fries at this point are really just a bonus. I also believe their flatbreads are pretty underrated and look out for specials -- they're always worth considering. The service is lovely. The wait staff have always been courteous and kind, and I've already noted that the bartenders are superb. I appreciate that they're efficient with the takeout and appreciate the phone manners. I realize they change up the menu fairly often, which means I can always expect something different and interesting with every visit. Had the urge to brunch a little late in the day, and after an extensive yelp search I stumbled across Arcadia Bar & Kitchen! To my surprise they offered brunch until 5pm and their menu had everything I could've ever wanted. Our waitress was soooo sweet and nice, she made sure we had a true bottomless experience and even gave recommendations for what I should order. We got a burger, shrimp & grits, and waffles. The burger was SO good & the shrimp and grits were good because they were really shrimp and grits. Not doused in tomato sauce like grits tend to be. The restaurant closes at 6 but they allowed us to stay until almost 8pm - they seem to have a lot of neighborhood friends who show love often and come to hang out. Perfect brunch spot! We just ate here for Father's Day and had such a nice time. Chill ambiance with super friendly and attentive staff. 90s R&B was playing which automatically gave the place a step up for me. Located on Astoria Blvd, it's away from the hysteria and hustle and bustle of the heart of Astoria but to me that's a big plus because parking is always super easy. I typically park right in front - extremely convenient. The modern décor of the interior part of the bar as well as the outdoor seating offers a fun atmosphere for brunch and/or dinner. Personally, I'm a big fan of their brunch menu. Watched the World Cup Final over brunch and some drinks yesterday and it was an awesome experience. The bartender was friendly and as accommodating as you could possibly hope for. Drinks came out quickly and were expertly crafted - my paloma was perfectly balanced. Food wise, we got the Short Ribs Benedict and the Breakfast Burrito. One of the top 5 eggs benedict I've ever had. The crispy English Muffin coupled with the juicy short rib and delicious hollandaise sauce is a dish I would 100% come back for. The Breakfast Burrito was a giant in its own right. I was introduced to Arcadia as a result of a private event. I enjoyed the tasters, so I wanted to try out the experience again as a regular customer. Revisited for brunch and I was a little disappointed that the brunch menu didn't have any of the dishes I had previously like the flatbreads or beet sliders. Hipster me ordered the avocado toast, and it was pretty meh. The avocado was overly puréed and tasted like it was mixed with lots of green spicy tomatillo sauce. The spice was a nice added touch, but not at the expense of big chunks of avocado. My coffee was also pretty terrible. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I was pretty surprised at how below average the brew was. My dining mate had steak and eggs that were fine, but there was nothing about our meals that stood out, not felt worth the trek to these deeper parts of Astoria. The waitress as well wasn't the warmest of servers. She rarely came back to check on how we were doing once the meals came out. The only redeeming bit was the friendliness of one of the owners, a George. Otherwise, the warm, tasty experience I had the first time I visited Arcadia was quickly erased by the cold, unmemorable brunch meal I had on an already cold and rainy Sunday.
