But no one was inside just her no other workers or people, it didn't smell like food or popcorn. Even though there was a machine.Very odd so not sure if they sell food or not. Good thing we had eaten before we went! So we pay for the baby to play in the jungle gym which was a very reasonable $5 maybe & $3 for mom to go in with him, she sold us a pair of socks for the baby $3, not bad at all. Even though he only went in once it's very dark and not too appealing. To play the arcade games you put $ on a reloadable card. The games go by points so each point is a quarter. There was plenty of seating area plenty of chairs & tables but just no people! :( I was kind of surprised for it being a Friday afternoon & summer time, no school for the kids. We opted for a package that included an hour of bowling, food & drinks for the kids, and a $10 arcade game gift card per child. This package was pretty affordable at $18 per child. They have add one such as goody bags and food/drink options for adults. We added a couple food platters for adults and the goody bags. Pros: - Affordable and convenient - low stress - kids had an absolute blast Cons: - Overall service was very average and slow. Inexperienced party host staff. - Room wasn't set up / ready until bowling was nearly done. - Upon arriving at the venue we learned that they didn't have goody bags available that day. This was disappointing because I would've expected a heads up at least one day in advance so that we can make other arrangements. They did provide an extra $10 on each child's game card to make up for it, which was nice.

Our food came in 15 min increments. So we started off with one pizza then the second and third pizza came out 15 min apart. This meant no one got to eat all at once which is really weird . The staff was then late to take us to Lazer tag and told us we might have to skip it all together because our party host arrived 3 min late to the game even though it was part of the package we paid for and not our fault our party host was dragging her butt. After hearing every excuse in the world including having a "manager" basically shush me and act like I was being unreasonable for demanding they stick to the party plan and stop being late to everything. After all this we ended up having to stay an hour and a half later than we had planned to experience everything we paid for and half the kids had to leave by that time which was really upsetting. They have no respect for your time they just want your money and once they have it you're no longer important. They had the nerve to give us a 1 hour of bowling for free gift card (to make it up ) while they gave us a $475 bill and wanted a tip. As if we are ever going back. This is after hearing "we have other people besides you to attend to what do you expect us to do we can't fix everything". Like I'm supposed to pay for a party package and not expect to get everything I paid for because they have more than one party . Just lazy !!! They have ZERO accountability, not one person really gave a damn. It was more like a burden to have to work. The whole place is going down hill and the restrooms are beyond filthy. The food is atrocious and even when we had to wait came out cold. Never had such a trashy worthless waste of money experience in my life as I did at this place. This isn't an opinion it's what happened.

There's a certain divide between arcades in people's minds. Arcades tend to send people back to a time in the 80s, where Pacman and Centipede were king. UFO is a new-age Japanese arcade, containing more or less the latest stuff, with little to cater to the rest of the public. With that in mind, UFO gets the job done well. The latest fighting games are always available to play almost a few days within release overseas, and the cabinets are authentic cabs and parts manufactured by R/S and Sanwa. Understandably, people are disappointed by the lack of known classic arcade games, but with the lack of space and competition from Pinballz, it's almost forgivable. The games may be majority fighting games, with a few shooters and puzzle games, but blame developers and publishers for that trend. Overall, ArcadeUFO is a great place to be if you're up for seeing the cutting edge of Japan arcades, but staying closer to home. Come play some street fighter, and join the community. (For anybody bringing kids, I highly advise bringing them in the daytime, when the rest of the arcade scene isn't present.) read more

TLDR: STEM-focused kids' play center with a hefty admission fee ($19.95 for anyone 1 and up,…read moreincluding parents). Best for older kids who can utilize the majority of the exhibits. Easy parking in the garage directly behind building. They validate parking -- don't forget to ask. While I love the STEM focus of the Thinkery, I have to be honest -- I just did not find it worth the admission price. COST/VALUE: It's expensive to get in here. $19.95 for anyone 1 and up. Let's compare that to many other indoor play centers where parents/guardians are either free or merely a couple bucks. Additionally, let's say your child just turned 1 -- they're not getting that much out of this -- there are only a small number of play areas they can enjoy (pretty much the gated baby area upstairs and the enclosed baby area within the STEM area). Everything else is really geared toward older kids. So to pay $60.00 for that visit (assuming both parents are joining) is just silly. Ultimately, it's probably best for older kids who are able to interact with all the exhibits. Both my kids (almost 4 and almost 2) definitely skipped a few of the more complex exhibits (microscope, wiring, etc.). ACTIVITIES/EXHIBITS: There is a decent variety of activities here -- outdoor playground, light room, water room, and a main STEM room (which includes a painting area). The water room is pretty neat and they offer Crocs and smocks. My youngest refused the Crocs (he hates Crocs for some reason) and I was relieved. There was a really strong musty smell coming from the shoe shelves. I hope they sufficiently sanitize the wet shoes. Upstairs, there is a play area for younger kids -- a gated (shoeless) area for babies and toddlers and a play area for older toddlers and younger kids (grocery store, kitchen, chicken coop). This area was chaotic and overrun with kids (some of them older). I brought my almost 2-year-old into the baby area and we both found it underwhelming. There just wasn't a lot to do and there is way more they could have done with the space. I actually preferred the second smaller baby area (in the middle of the downstairs STEM room) since it was much more packed with interactive elements). Ultimately, for the cost (we paid $80 for a family of 4), it just didn't seem like enough activities to justify the price tag, especially since my kids are younger and weren't interested in and/or able to appreciate every exhibit. For reference, for $80, we could visit Mt. Playmore twice (it's $30 for our whole family to get in plus any arcades). Obviously it's not educational like this but toddlers don't really care, they just want to interact with objects and have fun. GIFT SHOP: Small but cute gift shop. Well-curated with a nice variety (games, science kits, puppets, etc.). PARKING: We parked in the garage directly behind building. They will validate. They won't tell you that so make sure you ask. The garage attendant was amazing -- he came out and explained everything in the friendliest way. I wouldn't have known about the parking validation if it wasn't for him.
