Used them on referral. Paid cash to have my tub reglazed. I asked prior to the work being done if it would last and they assured me that they stand by their work and they guaranteed it would last. The reglaze did not last. Year three it is bubbling and tearing. I contacted them to ask for them to fix it and they won't return my calls or messages. My personal experience with arc reglazing was amazing! They came out quickly and gave me a reasonable quote. I scheduled him to come back on a Saturday to do the work. It took from 8am until 3pm. He put down tarps, and used a ventilation fan which really helped. He worked very hard and really cares about the work he does. He also re-caulked the tub and fixed areas that had mildew. I'm happy with the outcome. Shout out to Ricardo he did an expert job refinishing my tub, and also my kitchen sink: He was punctual, courteous, skilled, excellent clean-up job at the end of his work , I didn't have to clean up after him. I've worked with this company for apartment work for more than 12 years and yesterday the failed to show up. I called at 830 to confirm, and was told a technician would be there by 930 am. I waited until 10 am to start calling and never got thru to anyone again the rest of the day. not only that, but I didn't receive a courtesy call back to say what was happening. I called them next day and was told they had a phone problem. When I mentioned that I had spoken to them in the morning to confirm I was told the technician had car problems too... With so many companies that do this work I won't waste my time with ARC ever again. They had done literally all my work in the LA area, but to never bother to call me back, after as many years as is given them business is shameful. read more

I contacted ARC Reglazing on Monday after having another reglazing firm give me an estimate that not only sounded high, but he wanted me to fix the caulk. I had my entire bathroom reglazed in NY so had an idea of what I should be paying (I figured it shouldn't be twice the price), what's usually done, etc. I explained everything that needed to be done on the phone & got a very reasonable quote. I asked if they would make sure the caulk and grout was redone or sealed & he said absolutely. We set an appointment for that Wednesday afternoon. Enrique arrived on time and was so nice. He quickly got to work, and boy did he work - on one of the hottest days... It took a few hours & the smell is crazy bad (I stayed elsewhere that night), but the results... AMAZING! I did not reglaze the tub which was in good condition - only the tiles surrounding it which had mismatched tiles, old caulk, a missing tile. It's sparkling white - Enrique built up the missing tile prior to reglazing, fixed all the holes & did such a neat job making sure not to get the glaze elsewhere. I drove to my apartment 40 minutes, to show him my unit and get estimate, he never came. In the morning, appointment was confirmed, I kept calling him while waiting, but he never answered. I called to make an appointment to have my tub repaired/reglazed after speaking to Marcos and sending a picture to his cell for an estimate. He made an appoint with me and said he's sending his Technician between 9-10am today. I called to confirm the appointment and texted and he said Nelson will be there at 9am. 9:30am came, 10:00am and no response so I called and said he'll call me back in 5 minutes. I waited, waited and waited. I called and texted radio silence. 3 hours later still nothing. I didn't bother to check yelp to read the reviews in detail until now but it looks like this is a pattern and had I known I wouldn't have booked this appointment. I actually took time from work (and was losing pay for this) to be home during the window of time. I respected your time, you should do the same with your customers. Completely unprofessional. This company is awful!! I made an appointment to have two tubs re-glazed. I called the day before the appointment to confirm the time, address and to give a contact phone number. They confirmed the address and phone number and I was told that they would see me on Saturday, at 9:00am. They didn't show for 9:00am and I waited until 9:45am and called to be told that their truck had broke down (I never received a call about the truck breaking down) and if I text them the address they would be there at 11:30am. In the end everything worked out great and the shower looks new again. They came out and addressed a small issue that we had with the job but that is a plus in my book. The only issue I had was communication. These guys are hard to get ahold of and seem to only respond via text. Also Marco had no part in communication or labor on the job. Ernie was my contact. This was my first time using Arc to do one bathtub for $220. They were recommended to me. The owner Michael and worker showed up at my house. Owner was told by my mom that my bathroom was newly (2 days) painted. My bathroom is in the middle of being remodeled also. I was VERY happy with the work done on the tub. Looks brand new! BUT the cleanup was not so good. The tarps that the worker covered everything up with were hung up by masking tape. When he took down the tarps he ripped the tape off walls which took off paint from the walls and newly painted cabinet. We called the same day to Michael and explained what happened. He volunteered(which was nice) to repaint, but we told him no because we would rather have our painter fix it. Michael and worker did come back the next day to see what damage was done to the walls and cabinet and also re-caulked areas that were missed. They were not apologetic. My dad even asked if he could give him a small amount of cash back to pay our painter to fix their mistakes and nothing was given. I will not be using them again. read more

A different company had been recommended to me, then never returned calls and once I finally got them told me I'd have to wait three weeks. ARC came in $110 per tub cheaper and they were nice, did a great job and came within a day or two. I've already recommended them to my friend with three tubs to reglaze. read more

They do a really good job at reasonable prices. Just have to call for estimate and booking, and then call again to confirm. Easier if you are in their area. FYI the process takes longer than you think, but they will finish the job that day. read more
