The turkey was fresh and tender, the lettuce crisp, and the side of fruit and its "dip," which was unusual in that it was a solid rather than liquid, was delicious. The first thing a diner sees upon walking in is a case full of small cupcakes, and we often had to choose one for dessert. One of the best things about the place, though, is that the restaurant is in an old house, with tables set up in several rooms, so we often were able to eat in a room we didn't have to share. It was my favorite places to have a ladies' lunch.

I understand they split time with another restaurant, so there's a Cajun menu and the Water Well Cafe menu -- our family ordered from both. Across the board, everything was good. The Cajun menu looked great. Mexican chicken fried steak, ~$20 -- 100% worth ordering. I'd never had a Mexican chicken fried steak before -- it's basically a chicken fried steak, but it comes with an order of queso on the side. Something different and unique, and very, very good. Highly recommend it. The sides I had were the okra, tater tots and a roll, all above average. Bottom line, everything we had here was very good. Would highly recommend, and would come again.
