The cashier was lovely but what was served- was not! It was supposed to be chicken salad with fruit. The fruit was there but the chicken salad was NOT chicken salad. Not sure what it was but it was unidentifiable and the taste was even worse. Sadly we left to go have lunch elsewhere. I will have to think long and hard before I return. Firsts things first. The men's restroom is disgusting. The floor is literally sticky from urine. I accidentally opened the door to the women's restroom first, ladies you are lucky. The menu is as expected however it feels like this franchise is substituting lower quality ingredients. Like everything is off, the sauces, the bread, it all tastes like "Great Value" brand products. I always like coming to eat here. I love eating salads and I like the variety. I do bring my own salad dressing as there is no light vinaigrette offered at Jasons deli. My choice of dressings is raspberry vinaigrette. This particular Jasons deli has poppy seed lemon muffins as well as the gingerbread muffins, love eating those and having my ice cream cones after a couple trips to the salad bar. I read all the reviews on this Jasons deli but basically if you've been to one Jasons deli you've been to this Jasons deli. This one is no different than any of the other ones. If you want to nitpick it, my table was wobbly the building is a little older but other than that everything else is the same. If you enjoy eating salads stop at H-E-B or Walmart on the way over get you a nice raspberry vinaigrette and come on in. read more

Giving this location 1 star because I'm forced to do so. Visited this location 11-20-2021 @ 11:18 am. Went through the salad bar and their requirements of sanitizing hands and wearing a glove to prepare your salad. A slovenly employee comes up to the salad bar and makes a salad. No sanitizing hands. No glove. When I inquired about it, she said, "I washed my hands." But did you though? This employee had some of the grimiest bandaids I've ever seen on BOTH hands. Germfest city. Asked for the manager. She said her employee washed her hands and I asked, "How do you know? Did you see her? And what about the nasty, filthy bandaids on each hand?" The surly manager attempted to justify these unacceptable actions. I mentioned to her there was no sense speaking with her with her unprofessional attitude and defense of her employees filthy hands digging around in the salad bar. I had always loved Jason's Deli, unfortunately it has definitely gone down significantly in the past few months. First, they ask when you pay if you would like to add a tip; what is the tip for? The app did not accept any of my receipts and as previously mentioned by others, the tables are not always bussed well. This last time, there was a live roach on my table. When I spoke to the manager, he just seemed nonplussed and wrote it off to that happens sometimes. It was shocking that he did not appear to be concerned at all. Just ate at Jason's and I am truly disappointed. We ordered at 3:35 and it took about 30 minutes to get our food. I ordered a nutty mixed up salad, the same thing I order every time, and my boyfriend ordered a beef eater. There were about 10 tables of people, so it was by no means busy. However, we overlooked the time as we were hungry. Sadly, I cannot over look all the grape stems in the salad. Biting down on stem after stem is quite unappetizing - some attached to grapes and some not. If it's going to take 30 minutes to make a salad, there shouldn't be stems. The only thing I don't like about Jason's Deli is that we don't have one in Lake Jackson, TX! I was traveling this weekend and decided to take a detour through Victoria for a mid-afternoon lunch. Having not been through town in several years I had forgotten the options so I drove down Navarro with nothing in particular in mind. After stopping at another favorite chain and not getting seated I walked out and opened my Yelp App to see what was nearby. I immediately knew where I was going when I saw Jason's in the list! The service was very slow and a bit unorganized for 3:30 PM. However, the gentleman who took my order couldn't have been nicer. Name on ticket "Mathew". I tried the new Black Bean Taco Salad (light portion) with a cup of my all time favorite Southwestern Chicken Chili. The salad was okay and the chili was, as always, superb! I like this location with the sunroom facing the street. I deducted a star for slow service at the order counter in the middle of the afternoon. Like the Jason's I used to go to in San Antonio, the service is always spot on. Looking for something familiar, I've been here a few times now since relocating to Victoria. No matter what day or time I've gone, the service has been fast and friend (per the usual!). My food always comes out quickly (and most importantly, correctly!). LOVED IT!! Searching for a good lunch spot aside from all the mexican food places, we decided on Jasons. I had never been here before, and stereotyped it as a "chain restaurant". We grabbed the salad bar for under $8, and feasted away. They had so many topping choices and veggies. They are a "trans-fat free zone" so I felt good about indulging. They also have choices of other salads (potato, etc), puddings, fruit, and ice cream :) We've gone back a couple of times since and we've only been in town for 3 days! Great lunch spot! read more

Jason's deli is one of the few quality restraunts that won't make you reach the "obesity epidemic" by having lots of healthy items on their menu. One of the better options in Victoria. The salad bar is one of the best salad bars in Victoria. The options are plentiful, not to mention their gingerbread muffins and cornbread are awesome. (That's not unique to this establishment.) I call in my order if I'm not utilizing the salad bar. Always get my order 15-20 minute after placing it. Pick up drive thru is convenient. The worst thing about this place is the bathroom is awkward, but I don't go out to eat to use the restroom. It's nestled in a corner and it has one of those whiffing effects when the door is opened. What was offered did not look appealing either. Lettuce did not appear fresh. Quantities of the side items were not refilled. I entered the store, which defeats the purpose of curbside delivery and found the employees to be disinterested, at best. I would have walked out at that point but the online order was already paid for. I live in Austin and often order from Jason's Deli there. Had an issue with the soup. Tasted like flour clumps in water with broccoli and NOT broccoli cheese soup. Called them explained the situation and they offered to give a voucher for the amount of the price of our soups. Very impressed and they apologized profusely. Went back to the store and another batch had been made and they offered a sample. This batch was tasty just like it normally is so we ordered the soup lol. Very happy with my experience there. I ordered a bowl of French onion, at first they brought me tomato basil and almost agued with me about what I said I wanted. Yes the receipt said tomato basil, but I asked for French onion.
