It is evident the employees are trained from an incompetent manager. She has no customer service skills.

I don't usually eat crust because it's just not worth the carbs, but this one was! Also a proper cheese-lover's amount of cheese on top! So good and baked well. I'd come back for this anytime. A fabulous breakfast and the perfect size for one person. We also got the brussel sprout sweet potato hash, which also comes hot and in an adorable little bowl (all their dishes are eclectic and cute). Also great, altho I added a little salt to mine. We also ordered mochas, half sweet, which were delicious. All in all, a great selection of items that I would come back and order again in a heartbeat. Service was so friendly, informative and accommodating. Everything came out quickly, there was excellent communication and they checked on us throughout. These are really kind people who definitely care about the quality of their food.

They are very filling, the combination of flavors is on point. The wait time was a little long but the cashier was very polite. 4.5 overall I was…read moreexcited to take my mom out to eat at this place that I have loved so much from past visits. I realized however that I didn't realize the challenges that elderly/disabled people face when dining out. I had taken my mom to her cardiologist and he suggested that I take my mom out for a late lunch- which I enthusiastically embraced. Upon arriving at My Way Bistro, we were able to park in a handicapped parking spot with a slope to the sidewalk, which was helpful to my mom, who relies upon a walker for mobility. Upon arriving inside the restaurant, we were given our choice of booths or tables. I never realized before that the tables and booths are very high for someone with limited ability to lift their arms. There were no other options that we saw and my mom did her best to settle into a booth that I found comfortable but the table was clearly too high for my mom. She was a great sport however and made do with the high tabled booth. My mom ordered a lamb gyro with fries and I ordered my usual Georgia Reuben with fries. My mom was very pleased with her gyro. It had lots of vegetables and meat, and she said the tszazicki (sp?) sauce was delicious. She also enjoyed the fries. I loved my Georgia Reuben because the cole slaw has a kick of black pepper and other ingredients that make it taste amazing. The homemade Thousand Island dressing was soooo delicious! I was a little disappointed in the fries because they were fried more than I prefer but were still good. Best of all, we both took home leftovers! Seriously, the plates couldn't adequately support the generous portions of food with heaping amounts of fries- and I say that as a good thing! The ambiance is that of an upscale sports bar, but was pretty quiet when we were there, even though screens were turned on. Our server was very responsive and efficient. Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend checking out My Way Bistro for amazing sandwiches (also offer salads that I haven't yet tried) that are levels up from typical bar food.

Found a parking spot not too far from the entry as the wind chill was in the single digits. MyWay was crowded, but we were seated right away. Needless to say, the noise volume was elevated. There was a large group of people on our side of the restaurant that seemed to know one another. They were rather boisterous and seemed to have consumed a fair amount of alcohol. Even witnessed a middle aged woman who could hardly walk out on her own. Prior to her bumper-pool walking style on the way out, as she was seated, she hoisted up her leg and placed her heel on the man's shoulder she was with. Mercy! Alcohol can cause strange events to happen. We both ordered the Blackened Salmon Quinoa Salad with the Walnut Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. Salad cost $18. To me, the salmon portion was a bit smaller than anticipated, but had a good blacked spiced mix and done very nicely.

I was here for a business lunch, so I wasn't as obnoxious as I otherwise would be in taking pictures. One of my colleagues and I ordered chicken sandwiches- a crispy and a grilled sandwich. Both came with fries. My personal preference is for thicker fries and the fries here were definitely thin. If you prefer thin fries, you would be happy. My grilled chicken was definitely on the far blackened/grilled side- which is more charred than my preference. Another colleague who ordered a grilled chicken salad commented that the chicken was more blackened than he had anticipated. Another colleague ordered the chopped salad and appeared to be happy with his choice. If I ever return to this restaurant, I would definitely opt for a salad, as I had salad envy of the two that ordered salads. Our service here was very efficient without making a huge impression. Absolutely nothing wrong and nothing that stood out except that our orders were accurate and she checked in with us as appropriate. No complaints with service. I left without finishing my lunch entree' and chose not to take home leftovers, as I knew I wouldn't want to eat it. Again, just personal preference re the grilled chicken and fries. I felt that the value versus cost was on the high side. The sandwich was roughly $16.00 (including tax) with water as a beverage. While the company and ambiance were enjoyable, it felt like an expensive lunch as far as my sandwich. I've posted the menu from the restaurant's website below. I didn't compare the prices online vs in person as many restaurants have raised prices these days. I would go back but wouldn't make a point of it for the food.

Item 2: Regardless of what you call it, I love this place, and have since the 1970s. This place is a little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall, and I don't think the decor has changed since the 1970s (literally). Who says that's a bad thing? GYROs: Bottom line is that this is some of the BEST tasting gyro meat I've ever eaten. Period. It's flavored to perfection, and cooked to juicy yet crisp perfection, also. I have no idea what spices they add to the lamb/beef mixture (nutmeg? cumin? cinnamon?) but it has a unique and delicious flavor. This is the first place where, as a little kid, I ever ate a gyro, and they still make one of the best. (Not that my ethnic background matters, but I am Greek, and I've eaten a lot of gyros in a lot of cities and countries). If this is not the best, it's damned close to it. The chicken kabobs are excellent too. When I feel like eating something with more protein and less fat, this is my go to. These are fantastically seasoned and grilled perfectly every time. They come with rice or fries, and some veggies. The Greek salads are next level. They are large, well presented, well put together, and come with a BIG ASS SLAB of feta cheese. The homemade Greek dressing is not the best I have ever had, but it is more than serviceable. Pizza? Oh yeah, the pizza.... J & G,s thin crust pizza is also excellent. The flavor of the sauce is more traditional than what you will find at Amie's or Gino's, and therefore, may appeal to a wider range of tastes. I'd stick with the more basic toppings. To drink, they have milk and pop for the kids, and beer and wine for the adults. In case you haven't guessed, their wine list includes retsina and mavrodaphne. Obviously, as the place is also Upside Brewing, they have a pretty nice selection of beer. Upside has a few taps, and multiple taps from other local and regional brew houses are available. They do get busy, but we've never had unacceptably slow or rude service.
