She said that the price was correct, so I repeated that it was not and to check the McValue menu---from which I have ordered 2 double cheeseburgers many times in the past 6 months. She then told me the cash register would not honor the app code because.......she didn't know why! Then, I asked her to get a supervisor who could show her how to get the app deal on the register. Nobody was able to find a way to make it work, so I was told to pay the posted price and that I could not get the app deal and there was nothing that could be done. When I asked for the name and a telephone number for the owner of this franchise location, I was told, by an employee with a very smug attitude, that the information was confidential and could not be given out---even though the same information was readily available when requested many months ago to commend an occurrence at the same store. I finally ended the conversation with the remark, "You're full of baloney" and drove away without making a purchase. Finally, I deleted the app from my mobile device and have decided to avoid doing business with McDonald's for the time being. It seems that both the supervisor and employees at this McDonald's need a reminder that they have to be there since it's their job; but the customers have a choice!
