I ordered some teas from their website and the are fantastic. I like fruity teas and they the best I've had. I'm so happy I gave them a try. I got the pomegranate white tea which is just lovely and my favorite so far. I really like that they are organic.

Superb selection and blending of flavors. Ginger & chili is a winner.

Nate and I have been exploring various coffee shops throughout Ann Arbor. Sometimes it's tough to…read moreget an idea of the vibe just by looking at Yelp, but we got lucky with Cahoots Cafe. We found nearby street parking and we were able to get a spot on a comfy couch that was near a power strip. There isn't a ton of seating so I imagine it can get busy throughout the day. The building is historic and also houses a coworking space which has a lot of really great amenities. The vibe inside the coffee shop is cozy but modern, and I loved the decor. They also had some really great merch - the tote bags were calling my name! I ordered the cardamom fig latte and Nate got a golden milk latte. They do that thing where they just yell out the name of the drink rather than taking your name, but I loved everything else about this place. The cardamom fig latte was unique and definitely tasted of both cardamom and fig. They have bagels and some pastries. I really liked the varied seating (comfy couches/chairs, tables, and bar seating) and plentiful outlets for getting work done. The wifi was fast and consistent. If I lived in the area this would be my go-to coffee shop. It's not the biggest space but it's definitely worth a visit!

She disappeared into the back room for another four minutes, came back, and still didn't really have an answer. I'm sorry, but if you work there, shouldn't you know--or at least be able to quickly find out--what teas you serve? ‍ Such a simple question turned into a ridiculously long wait. Cute, clean café, but the service and basic product knowledge definitely need some work. that's 15 minutes of my life. I won't get back for absolutely no reason.

Parking was a little tight, even on this relatively early (0900hr) Saturday morning. Seating on the…read moreinside consisted of either a community table or a tiny two-person computer table and chairs against a wall. Otherwise it was "drink and dine al fresco". Stand in line to place your order and pay, then stand at the end of the counter to await your items. I ordered a hot and delicious macchiato along with a flavorful eggy cheesy pork sausage burrito. High recommendations! My companion enjoyed his Cortado (pictured) with an almond scone. The scone's almaretto was flavor-forward, but the texture was a bit too cakey for my palate. Complimentary WiFi was available, and for all the people coming and going, the inside volume wasn't too bad for conversation.

My coffee was perfect. Just enough sweetness, but not too much. Just enough oat milk too. Why not 5 stars? The food is an afterthought. Go for the coffee, skip the food. Bagels are whole. Not sliced. Huh? That's okay because they must have sharp knives that slice easily through bagels. Nope. Might as well try cutting your bagel with a spoon. Because of the difficulty eating the bagels, they weren't finished. My "Cheesy-P" (terrible name) was just heated up in the microwave. Not much effort involved in that. We think our bagels weren't toasted, but heated up in the microwave too. Blah. A little more effort would go a whole lot further. The protein ball aren't really appealing either, but they might have been if the other food was decent. Coffee good. Skip the food. Seems like coffee shops with more food options, should really take it seriously. I don't think Roos does.
