Great coffee, great service, super cute inside. The parking sitch was a little tricky but we are all perfectly capable.

I like Drip House. I'm happy it's here. However, I don't know if I would be coming much if there was another coffee shop within a short walking distance. The main thing Drip House has going for it is that it is effectively the only coffee spot to sit and study or meet someone right by the stadium (where a bunch of us live and/or work). It is also open into the early evening when a lot of other coffee spots aren't. And we do love an outside seating option. The service has always been just fine and it's a pretty cute spot (not to sound ridiculously nit-picky but while we're here--someone might wanna sheer some of the many dead leaves off the beautiful plant inside though). Also, the banana oat latte they had as a special a couple months ago was delicious. So yummy. Some things I don't love about Drip House: the blue chairs. So uncomfortable. It is expensive and, dare I say, overpriced. The first time I got my $14 piece of ricotta toast, it was delicious. And I figured, fine. It's $14 for a piece of bread with a little cheese and jam but it's so yummy, I'll splurge every once in a while and go with it. Plus, I can't eat tree nuts, so it is one of the few options for me. However, the second time I got it, it was most definitely not worth it. The "whipped" ricotta was just a sad, thin wet layer and there was practically no jam. I get it. It's expensive out here. We're living in the shadows of the avocado toast economy where espresso drinks cost minimum $7 and you effectively can't buy anything for less than $4. But just because you feel like you *can* doesn't mean you *should.* Paying $14 for a piece of bread.... Come on. It's insulting. It feels exploitative. Will i be going back? Yes, because of the proximity and sometimes a girl needs to go for a cute little walk to get a coffee--just to feel something. Would I if there was a competing coffee shop nearby? I loved this place the first time (last year), so this one stings a bit. I literally traveled in from FL like a croissant-seeking alien, chasing the memory of how good it was... and I come in peace, but I also come for filling. They JUST switched bakers and... yeah, you can tell. The croissants still look incredible, but the filling situation is basically a scavenger hunt across the galaxy. You go in expecting something amazing and get a tiny dot like it's being rationed on a space station. Big pastry, minimal payoff. I feel like I need advanced technology to locate the filling. I honestly struggled with giving this 3 stars because the staff is easily 5 star. They're great. But when you're handed a massive croissant with not even a whole lick of filling, I have to give it a 3. Really hoping they dial this back in, because I know how good this place can be. read more

We used to stop in here EVERYTIME we came to Ann Arbor. We used to buy 4-6 almond croissants and take them home, now I tried one this morning, along with a latte and a smoked salmon bagel...the coffee is still great! The bagel was very good as well, chewy and crispy bagel, toppings all went really well together. But the croissant WOW!! What happened guys?!?? It went from 10/10 to a 0/10 since we last visited. Super dry croissant with barely any filling, when I saw the appearance of it I thought to try it first because it doesn't look like the croissant we usually buy, and I was right! Glad I didn't buy 4-6 like we normally do, so sad and disappointed. Staff was still very nice, I waited while they make the bagel and it was pretty quick. Place was empty since it was 8:30am. Overall we probably won't be back anymore, we absolutely loved the croissants and unfortunately they're gone. read more

I got a salted pistachio matcha latte, it wasn't my favorite, the flavor was overpowering, but it was fun to try something new. They had a lot of delicious looking pastries and food options. We went to this cute little spot and ordered coffees, the carrot muffin, and a cookie dough thing as well as croissant and 2 lox bagels. The coffees and baked goods were great. In fact the muffin was so good that I just might go back to the place. But I have to say the bagel with lox was really really bad. First off they pickle their onions instead of just adding normal red onion. There was also about a half pound of onion added. I'm assuming but the onion was probably in water and when they put them on my bagel they just drenched the bagel in water. So we essentially got 2 wet soggy bagels. There was also barely any cream cheese (see photos) and way too much cucumber. Very little lox and very little cream cheese with extra onion, cucumber, and water. It's just hard to find a place that can make this now expensive breakfast staple properly. Anyways, the pictures speak for itself and if you go stick to the baked goods and coffee in my opinion. I don't even know why I'm giving it 3 out of 5 because of this but I am. Nate has been frequenting Drip House by himself while I'm working in town, so I decided to stop by on my own this time. I was happy to see there were spots available in the small parking lot. It's right across the street from the Big House which is kind of fun to see (although Spartan Stadium has my heart forever, #GoGreen), but I think this area can get pretty busy at peak times. And forget coming here on gameday, I would avoid it at all costs haha. When I arrived around 8:15 am on a Wednesday they weren't busy yet, but it started to fill up around 8:45 and by 9 was pretty close to capacity. The space is decent sized with great natural light and varied seating. Here's where my review is more like a 4.5 - the blue metal table I sat at was SUPER uncomfortable. I sat at a smaller table since I was just by myself, but it was the wrong move. The table legs were spaced so my knees didn't fit between them and the chair wasn't giving enough back support. This seems like a small thing but I was really hoping to be able to sit for a couple of hours and get some work done. That said, I did love my iced latte and the fact that they have a full food menu. I got the avo crunch on sourdough and added egg. The sandwich was super hot and fresh, and I loved the addition of the lime for a bit of a kick. It was pretty messy but really tasty. They also have crepes, bagels, toasts, and other sandwiches. They did NOT take my name for my order :( Overall a nice local coffee spot that I enjoyed for the most part! read more

I tried for the first time - the people working there are very friendly and do take the time to make sure you enjoy your experience. I got a few items to eat there and they were very good, but I took a croissant home and found a weird item in it and it was not the same as the description. I called and received a refund which was nice but kind of annoying to have to call in and explain the situation after the fact. read more

We came while visiting AA and loved the aesthetic and vibe. Went with the salted caramel (whole milk) and cardamom rose (oat milk) lattes, both were overly milky to us which muted the espresso and unique flavors. Also, ordered the Wolverine breakfast sandwich (added cream cheese), first one came without egg, but they remade it with friendly customer service. Sandwich was fine but not worth $10. I came here for a quick breakfast and it was very good! The iced vanilla latte was very tasty and so was their everything bagel. The inside is very cute with a nice outdoor area also. Overall, I'd definitely come back. The prices were very average for the area, $6-$7 for most drinks. read more

This morning I went in and ordered a black coffee, and unfortunately it was terrible. It didn't even taste like coffee. It was both sour and burnt at the same time. This was actually my second visit. The first time I came, I also had a bad coffee experience, but the desserts were good, so I decided to give the place another chance. Sadly, the coffee was just as disappointing the second time around. If you do visit, I'd recommend sticking to the desserts and avoiding the coffee. read more

There is a good amount of work space, including large tables and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is good with some people talking and most people working. There is good lighting with the big windows. Peppy warm interaction to start up our day. Both the gal and the barista were very nice and they both carried a conversation organically so that already alone was a big plus. The coffee house is located right across from the stadium. We found parking available right in front of the establishment, and they also have overflow parking available behind the coffee house. The taste presentation and quality of everything was on point. It was nice to see the options on the menu, there is definitely something for everyone. We had the last plain bagel warmed up and made into a breakfast Sammie. I tried the vanilla latte and my wife had the cardamon rose latte with oat-milk. Will definitely be back! read more

Came on a Sunday morning and this place was POPPING! [Coffee] I can only speak for two of their specialty drinks: I ordered the Aquarius which was a strawberry cream latte drink. I liked it at first but the more I drank it, the more sweet and desserty it was, and I soon tired of it. My boyfriend got the Military which was a matcha/coffee mix which was a neat idea cause it was green/brown just like the military. It was also bitter and grainy af, just like the military (grainy cause the matcha wasn't mixed thoroughly). If I were to go back, I'd probably try a more standard drink like a cappuccino or latte. The cup is really cute though! [Environment] I loved the decor and it was very bright and happy vibes. I will say, it was very busy on a Sunday morning. Every table had people vigorously studying or working. The line was to the door. I waited maybe 10 minutes for the bathroom and for my drink. No parking in the lot so I had to park in the residential street which is always dicey cause I always get scared that I've read the parking signs wrong. They were playing Taylor Swift quite loudly which I appreciated as a togoer but I would probably get really distracted if I was trying to work. Who can resist baked goods and coffee? Especially ones that cater to different allergies! Across from The Big House & Pioneer HS is this super cute coffee shop. If you blink, you may miss it. What caught my eye was the big "GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN PASTRIES" sign. Don't be worried; there are plenty of normal diet options. See photos for food & beverage options. I can't wait to be back to try more! Parking: a few spots on the front and side of the shop but there is an overflow lot. Seating: indoor and outdoor (with umbrellas) Atmosphere: trendy and casual! The crepe I got from here was SOO good!! The consistency from the amount that it was cooked was perfect, and then there was the right amount of chocolate and fruit! They had some fun coffee drinks, and we both got the mint flavored ones. There are multiple tables inside and it's very sunny. There were 1-2 people on laptops, but I'm not sure if they had wifi. I found their early hours and portable chargers to be very thoughtful, making this spot very conducive to working when visiting from out of town. Very cute coffee shop. I was in town today having lunch with a friend and then met up with some other friends here. Definitely not an inexpensive place - I got their iced chai with almond milk, the larger size (12 oz) and I believe it was about $5.80 before tip. That's similar to what Starbucks would be, though. One of my friends is mostly only doing outdoor seating and today was like 60° out so their outdoor area was perfect. To top that off, since it's not entirely downtown (it's across the street from the stadium), there is also a small parking lot for customers. Overall I'd come back here again, one of my friends got a lavender lemonade which looked awesome (very Instagrammable, haha) and there was also some edible glitter in it so in the sunlight it looked especially pretty. read more

Stopped in again for more of a proper visit and it was just as good as last time. They were out of a few items ("art fair cleaned us out." they said, totally valid!) but I landed on the turkey pesto panini, the cold brew coffee with a shot of their cinnamon brown sugar syrup, and the pink drip smoothie (which I got last time and loved). I had to wait a few for my sandwich but it was worth the wait (CHECK OUT THE CHEESE PULL IN MY PHOTOS!). The sandwich was great and the coffee was even better. Loved my smoothie the second time around, too. As I was leaving my husband called me and requested a pastry and a lavender latte so I hopped back into line. I was in a slight hurry so I was daunted by the line that had now formed but they are SPEEDY with those drinks, let me tell you. It only extended my visit by a few minutes. Everyone here is also SO nice and helpful. Now that I was loaded up with 3 drinks they got me a carrier and a bag for all my goodies. There's loads of outdoor seating now but parking can be a bit of a challenge when there are a lot of folks there. The location of drip house is key. Being at the corner of main and stadium right across from the big house makes this place super convenient to grab a quick coffee. Haven't tried the food here but I've heard the croissants are pretty good. They also have a great reward system if you remember to punch in your phone number at each purchase. Ambience is great, location cannot be beat (right next to the Michigan stadium), and the coffee was really good. I really liked my iced sugar cookie latte and their feta croissant was so good, I am craving another one right now.
