    Hot Caramel Latte

Amazing coffee shop in downtown Ann Arbor! I ordered a hot caramel latte and it was delicious! The quality of the espresso was great and one of the best lattes I've had in a while! The inside of the coffee shop is super cute and has some tables/couches to sit or work. Overall great experience and I'd love to come back!

Small coffee shop but excellent! Few small tables and some counter seating available. Not too busy at 8am on a Friday. I tried an iced Miel Latte (after asking "what's Miel?" - honey and cinnamon) with oat milk which was fantastic. And a Bialy, which was savory, sour (from the sourdough), with everything bagel seasoning and cream cheese and caramelized onion. Impressed by the pricing too! Fancy coffee drink and a large bialy (filling!) came out to a subtotal of $11 something.

Made a pit stop in Ann Arbor on route to Detroit and got to visit this cozy little coffee shop! There were a bunch of people reading and studying--it looks straight out of a movie! Loved my pumpkin tahini latte, which was the perfect combo of sweet, creamy, and nutty . They also had lots of cookie and delicious baked goods. It's right next to a street with great bookstores and shop as well!

One of the current seasonal drinks was a type of fig latte, which I got iced. It was incredible! The barista was friendly and got things done timely even by himself with four customers. This is exactly the type of coffee shop you'd expect to find in Ann Arbor. It's small, there are a few spots to sit and get work done. Absolutely amazing coffee, I hope to be back soon!

(G)o or no go - Such a whimsical find in downtown aa! (W)ow - There's not a ton of seating indoors, but the cafe has really high ceilings, a mini couch area, and patio seats when the weather is nice. (A)ge - mostly students (M)enu - The honey lavendar latte is a balanced combo of sweet, milky, and caffeinated. Service is fast and friendly. Would definitely spend a day here studying

Absolutely loved my experience here. The menu is beautiful simple, the interior had the perfect cozy but not too cluttered ambience, and the cappuccino was on point. I also appreciated how friendly the baristas were!

We are visiting Ann Arbor for the first time and heard about this spot from several sources. Easily grabbed street parking for 20 mins for 80 cents nearby, loved the vibe and energy of this spot. We went with iced lattes - the mocha & cardi boi - which the latter was the bomb - cardamom, brown sugar, and cinnamon syrup blend! Both were subtly sweet, which I prefer but my partner prefers more sweetness - had him add sugar. Bold & balanced espresso! Service was quick and friendly, the restroom was very clean!

The coffee here is pretty good. I got one of the seasonal lattes and a black coffee and the latte was definitely what I would go with next time. There's not much seating inside, but the area they do have looks great.

    Cardi Boi Oat milk latte

I ordered Cardi Boi latte with oat milk The latte art is amazing! The consistency of the milk froth is on point The spices are interestingly blended ( Cardamon, cinnamon, and brown sugar) yet not too sweet, giving a bit more layer of warmth spices. The vibe is very cozy chill yet modern. The staff are nice. The music is relaxing, light to medium loud, wearing headphones should be fine. Limited spaces, with bar and outdoor seatings. Parking is downtown so, most likely street parking and parking structure. I parked at a near intersection with street parking. Overall 4.8/5

It's fine coffee but the spot definitely seems like it's more about trend than anything else.

I like Drip House. I'm happy it's here. However, I don't know if I would be coming much if there…read morewas another coffee shop within a short walking distance. The main thing Drip House has going for it is that it is effectively the only coffee spot to sit and study or meet someone right by the stadium (where a bunch of us live and/or work). It is also open into the early evening when a lot of other coffee spots aren't. And we do love an outside seating option. The service has always been just fine and it's a pretty cute spot (not to sound ridiculously nit-picky but while we're here--someone might wanna sheer some of the many dead leaves off the beautiful plant inside though). Also, the banana oat latte they had as a special a couple months ago was delicious. So yummy. Some things I don't love about Drip House: the blue chairs. So uncomfortable. It is expensive and, dare I say, overpriced. The first time I got my $14 piece of ricotta toast, it was delicious. And I figured, fine. It's $14 for a piece of bread with a little cheese and jam but it's so yummy, I'll splurge every once in a while and go with it. Plus, I can't eat tree nuts, so it is one of the few options for me. However, the second time I got it, it was most definitely not worth it. The "whipped" ricotta was just a sad, thin wet layer and there was practically no jam. I get it. It's expensive out here. We're living in the shadows of the avocado toast economy where espresso drinks cost minimum $7 and you effectively can't buy anything for less than $4. But just because you feel like you *can* doesn't mean you *should.* Paying $14 for a piece of bread.... Come on. It's insulting. It feels exploitative. Will i be going back? Yes, because of the proximity and sometimes a girl needs to go for a cute little walk to get a coffee--just to feel something. Would I if there was a competing coffee shop nearby? That remains to be seen. Also the size of the "large" iced drink. Come on guys.

Most recently I came here for a meeting, ordering a vanilla latte and a sweet potato hand pie to nibble on since I hadn't eaten yet. The description of the latter sounded so good, sweet potatoes with black beans and a few other veggies, wrapped up in flaky pie dough. The filling, however, was mostly pureed, giving it more of a baby food consistency which I didn't love. The flavor was good though but I couldn't get over the mushy texture. The black beans weren't pureed in but were few and far between (I think I maybe counted 2 or 3?). In addition to my hand pie I also ordered a piece of the billionaire's shortbread but they didn't ring it up/prepare it. By the time I realized it (I had to wait for my hand pie to be heated up) it was only a few minutes before close so I didn't bother going back up to the counter to reorder. IDK if they were just in a hurry to close or genuinely didn't hear my order but it was a bummer since it did look great. The vanilla latte, however, was quite good. And for a coffee shop that's most important. And what they lacked in substantial food options they did make up for in fun, seasonal drink specials and a few sweet treats like cookies and the aforementioned shortbread. The space is very cute, as well, and made for a really comfortable meeting location. So overall I did like my visit here. I just won't be rushing back here if I'm feeling peckish. But for a caffeinated pick me up and a nice place to meet or chill, this definitely fits the bill.

Nate and I have been exploring various coffee shops throughout Ann Arbor. Sometimes it's tough to…read moreget an idea of the vibe just by looking at Yelp, but we got lucky with Cahoots Cafe. We found nearby street parking and we were able to get a spot on a comfy couch that was near a power strip. There isn't a ton of seating so I imagine it can get busy throughout the day. The building is historic and also houses a coworking space which has a lot of really great amenities. The vibe inside the coffee shop is cozy but modern, and I loved the decor. They also had some really great merch - the tote bags were calling my name! I ordered the cardamom fig latte and Nate got a golden milk latte. They do that thing where they just yell out the name of the drink rather than taking your name, but I loved everything else about this place. The cardamom fig latte was unique and definitely tasted of both cardamom and fig. They have bagels and some pastries. I really liked the varied seating (comfy couches/chairs, tables, and bar seating) and plentiful outlets for getting work done. The wifi was fast and consistent. If I lived in the area this would be my go-to coffee shop. It's not the biggest space but it's definitely worth a visit!
