We had a beautiful, large tree (over 80 feet tall) that had been split by lightning and was going to fall soon. It was right next to the road where lots of kids play and we were terrified somebody would be hurt. Arbor Master trucks were at our neighbor's house and I was impressed by their crew and equipment and the efficiency with which they got the job done. I spoke to them and made arrangements for them to come back as soon as possible to remove our killer tree. I called Arbor Master after a recent storm came through Hamburg, MI. I lost a huge oak and two pines. Much too big of a job for me to do myself. I called them on a Saturday morning and they were out at another job. They came out later that day and gave me a quote, which ended up being much less than the other estimates I received. We were having renters later in the week, and needed the yard cleaned up as soon as possible. Most other companies I called weren't even open on the weekend, but Arbor Master sent a crew out on Sunday and took care of it. The crew that took care of my trees was very professional and helpful. They took down two very large oaks over my shed and reduced them to manageable chunks suitable for splitting into firewood without any damage. They even did so with a few smaller trees that I'd discovered were dead as a favor. What was left was a massive jumble of limbs and branches, but it is what we agreed to. Two days of minor chain saw work and burning cleaned it all up. Now the wood that remains is being distributed to those who heat their homes with it. Seriously impressed with this company. I can be hard to please but they did a really good job trimming our Oak trees at our house. The office staff was very helpful, the estimator is an ISA Certified Arborist and was very knowledgeable about trees and how to maintain them. I have used AMT multiple times for these simple reasons: they are responsive, reliable, fair pricing and have always checked in to make sure we were satisfied. We had an issue with a very large tree near the house which they removed without issue but told us the stump may take a couple of times to grind down because of the size, etc. Never a question, they kept coming over a period of several months to make sure it was done correctly. read more
