Trimming a tree not cared for over many years: We recently bought a home that had a tree in desperate need of an extensive trimming. Not having any references to go on, we went with the online reviews we saw and contacted Martin Tree Service. Their expertise on how to save this overgrown tree was extensive, and their plan was put in place to severely trim the tree so that it could have a good life for years to come vs. cutting it down. The crew came with all the equipment they needed, and we were amazed at what they were able to do. The tree was trimmed so that it was now trained to grow away from our house, and has many more years ahead for it. They were all about safety, expertise, and their clean up showed that they weren't there once they left. They protected our lawn, and we are thrilled. We contracted with Martin Tree Service for the removal of a 75 foot oak tree consisting of two connected trunks which were splitting at the base, potentially endangering our home and a neighbor's. Also, we requested the trimming of another group of huge oaks extending across our front yard and partially hanging above our street. The three man crew couldn't have been more polite, or professional. They did an amazing job, working efficiently all day and cleaned up the site, honestly much better than I expected. I was very satisfied with the services performed by Martin Tree Service. I had two very large oak trees cut down. Due to the many other trees on the property, they were unable to bring in machinery. Two climbers and many ground workers finished the task. They also trimmed other trees for me. A neighbor was so impressed by their workmenship, he hired them to remove two small trees on his property on the same day.
