After reading other reviews, I can only say our experience was unfortunately very similar. We spent over $1,000 on a repair for our Sub Zero, only to later discover that the wrong board had been installed. After that, he stopped showing up, stopped responding to calls, and became impossible to reach. I even attempted to pursue the matter legally, but he did not appear in court and the address provided turned out to be invalid. Stay away!! You call a USA appliance front and then they put you thru to Arabic appliance! The guy comes in and tells me he'll have the part by next day. Next day comes and he calls and say part won't be in till next day. Then he schedules 8am to 10 and I call him to ask where he is. He says I'm down in Yonkers(an hr and 20 min away). He says he'll be there. Next. It's now 2 hours and I'm still waiting and have got the run around every time I call to see where he is. Stay away from Arabic Appliance Repair. This so-called repairman, "Wayne," posed as a repairman but he is really a rip-off man. He totally misrepresented the problem with our refrigerator. By meddling with this repair he may have contaminated the entire cooling system. He put a "pin" in the compressor line when he never should have attempted to troubleshoot the compressor problem. He charged us $140, $30 for this erroneous pin. When the LG technician examined the state of the frig he confirmed that the repairman sabotaged the refrigerator by opening the system when he should not have and possibly damaged the cooling system and may be irreparable. He was not authorized to troubleshoot the compressor. read more

This business is a SCAM!!!!!!Wayne showed up promptly to service my washer..... was prompt, professional and seemed knowledgeable.... Said I needed a new board... he would order, pick up and we scheduled return appt..... I paid him 1/2 (332.14). Called and said that the part wasn't' available til the following week so we rescheduled the return visit..... day of appointment he didn't show or call in the time slot we had agreed on so I called him, he said he was running late but he would be here by the end of the day..... last I've seen or heard from him..... doesn't answer his phone and mail box is full! Technician Wayne came out to fix my Bosch double wall oven. He was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. He diagnosed the issue within 15 minutes, ordered the parts necessary and returned to complete the job as soon as the parts were in. His prices are reasonable, and I would highly recommend his company. read more

I recently had a issue with my refrigerator and called Arbic Appliance to setup a appointment. I spoke to a woman who explained all the charges and was able to make a appointment for the next day for me. She was very helpful and professional. When I got home from work I noticed the refrigerator was cooling now so I called back to cancel the appointment. She was also very helpful and accommodating. From her customer service alone I would recommend trying them. read more

If I were able to provide a negative Star I would gladly provide one. STAY away from this repair company at all costs. I called Arbic on or about January 13,2021 and was told that the repairman would be at my home on the 15th at 11AM. The repairman Wayne was prompt in arrival. As I showed him the washer in question he looked at it over 10 minutes and told me the 6 year old washer would cost $400 to repair, and I should just replace it. I discussed what type I should purchase and he gave me some ideas. I. Than asked about my dryer which wasn't working well and he opened the door turned the dryer on and said it would cost $160 to repair. I said ok expecting him to take it apart telling me it was a big job. He took off 4 or 6 clips wiped some lint from the front asked for a vacuum cleaner which I said no. He put it back together 9 minutes told me it was fixed I questioned this and he said it was and we left clothes to dry. Me a glutton for punishment no said the refrigerator isn't working well the ice is sticking in the maker and it's making a noise he turned and said okay I can fix it it's going to cost $140 and I reluctantly said well that's really a lot of money he says no it takes a while to do it I said okay let's fix it it went to his car got a steamer he brought it back in he steamed the ice out of the ice maker 4 minutes told me it was fixed. Didn't look at there anymore of the refrigerator at all and just told me that so now $390 later including the service call he left that afternoon the dryer still wasn't working the refrigerator wasn't working ice was still not and the water wasn't working either.coming out of refrigerator was still making noise I called them up he answered and told me well I didn't tell him that the other noise was in the refrigerator which you could see you could hear and he said he would come back out. A week later and 6 phone calls he came back out and said he needed to order parts and would have them the next week. Now 3 weeks and 12 phone calls later some young lady calls me back saying parts were on order. I suspect it was somebody Wayne asked to call me to deflect. The end of February I'm still chasing this company for results March 5 or so Wayne calls me on a Friday afternoon and says he'll be at my house the next Monday morning at 9am to repair the refrigerator at this date here he still has not returned or returned any of my phone calls I suspect this individual works out of his home and just makes phone calls and and makes repairs from his car this is a very unscrupulous company I am extremely disappointed I paid $300 for repairs that I work done I've had to purchase a new washing machine and dryer to get things done and I've about to get another company to make the repairs to refrigerator that he partially took apart and just left left the machine in pieces had no time should you ever ever use this company unless you want to get ripped off and taking advantage of very unscrupulous and if I can make a negative star I would do that. BUYER BEWARE! It is now March 15th 2021 and I'm no closer to having my refrigerator repaired then I was on January 15th. read more
