I ordered that along with a falafel on the side. The kind worker said it would be a 10 minute wait after I paid for it. I waited and the worker even said she appreciated my patience while waiting. The worker handed over the order shortly later and wished me a wonderful day! Appreciated! Lunchtime! It came with a little salad and it was fresh and tasty! Don't really leave many reviews. This place is INSANE! I got the beef Lula plate and the meat is perfectly cooked and the texture is so supple and bouncy. They give you a ton of rice that's great to have later. The babagonush is also incredible, light Smokey flavor but not over powering, Tzatziki is nice and chunky but not too chunky. Falafel is hot and crispy outside, soft inside. I'm blown away this is such an undercover gem. If this was a restaurant style seating they would be slammed. Thank you! read more

I decided to order food for my family that was delicious and healthy. This restaurant came to mind. I've visited previously and ordered just a small plate. I remembered they had catering so I decided to try their Combo family style option. I looked on yelp and I was not surprised to see that they had five stars and over 192 comments. Food is definitely good. This is a market which I described as a Armenian, European, and Mediterranean supply store. Because they have many producs specific to the food that they eat. I noticed on the menu that you have to call 24 hours in advance for larger orders so I called to make my order it was about 6 o'clock and I noticed they close at seven and they told me OK it would be ready in about an hour. Which is really good for me because now I know if I am in a time crunch I can order delicious healthy food for my family. I ordered three skews of chicken and three skewers of kebabs which both have about six pieces of meat each. It is a fair and reasonable price the food is also deliciously cooked with much addition to detail. The nice young lady at the counter is probably the same nice person who answered the phone and she was very courteous and polite. The food is juicy,and well seasoned and I will definitely return again! My Meal came with rice And salad. In addition to that I also ordered family style for a party. While waiting for my food I was able to look around the store and stock up on some delicious ethnic style drinks to serve to my guest. I was in Clovis taking a look at a school. I yelped places nearby and came across Ararat Market. Went there and ordered their chicken kabob plate. Came with rice, white sauce, salad, and pita. This has been my #1 go to spot for kabob and Luleh plates. My family loves it. They offer party sized trays for their hot food as well. It's also a nice little grocery store. If I don't get a plate, I like getting the marbled basturma, Armenian string cheese and pita bread. This is a small family business and the owners are very nice people. read more

Update: we just recently tried their marinated chicken breast and it was so reasonably priced ($4.99/lb), the chicken was already cut (which was perfect, because we were making kabobs) and the meat was very high quality! We also bought some Greek feta cheese by the pound, it was the best feta that I have had! It was so fresh and much better than store bought in the generic plastic pint cups! The staff is so incredibly helpful and kind, it feels great to help support our local businesses during this time. My husband and I really enjoyed our experience here! The market was clean and quaint (it would be a little market you would expect to find in a big city, with a small-town feel). They offered a variety of Mediterranean spices, treats, produce, teas and coffee. The staff were very nice and genuinely polite. We bought some Armenian coffee by the pound and two plates of food to-go. I ordered the chicken Lula plate, it came with two pieces of ground chicken/lula, a generous amount of rice pilaf, side of salad, three pieces of pita bread and white sauce (it as garlicy and the texture of yogurt?). The food was very clean tasting and fresh! My husband ordered the beef kabob plate, it came with all the same sides as mine just with chunks of beef instead of the ground chicken (I cannot review his because it was gone before I got the chance to ask for a taste!!). They are the most hardworking, polite , kind and nicest people ever. They are opened 6 days a week, only close on Sundays. They are opened till 7 pm. Hardworking self employed people. The lady here is sooooo nice and polite. Customer service at its best. They carry some local produce like apple , lemon , peaches, grapes, nectarines, mandarin oranges, cucumbers, all kinds of cured meats like pistachio martadela , smoked fish , yogurt drinks , all kinds of spices , cookies from Europe, canned goods. All kind of drinks. Everything is always so fresh and my son loves their European cookies and chocolates. They make fresh lamajoon ( Armenian pizzas) on Tuesday and Friday. They sell barbari bread , pita bread . They serve to- go food like chicken kabeb, beef lule, grilled sturgeon, etc. I love this tiny store packed with love !
