I sent flowers to my sister who has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. Her response? "They look like I feel." Well we got a laugh out of that anyway. When the driver handed her the flowers, the vase had no water in it. It also didn't come with any floral food packet. The flowers were wilted, bruised, and the greens were broken and even had brown spots on them. The roses were wide open and maybe have 2-3 days left before they start falling apart. The flowers and greens should have been cut to size and arranged in floral foam so that they had a nice rounded form as shown in the example. That's what floral designers do and that's what I thought I was paying for. The point of the leaf inside the vase as pictured in the example (but nowhere to be found in the arrangement) is to hide the floral foam. And, there should be at least a half-assed effort at being the flowers promised. There were 2 orchids, but no shasta daisies, no mums or other flowers as shown. The roses and a couple orchids are the only common flowers. This is absolutely atrocious. It looks like it was thrown together by the delivery driver in the back of his ride which I'm guessing is exactly what happened after he slammed on the brakes and it skidded across the bed of the van. I paid almost $120 for this. Never again. read more

I had stumbled on their IG page @arapahoflowers a while back and thought I'd love to give them a try! I'm so glad I remembered them as I looked to have flowers delivered to a friend for her birthday. After booking, I received an immediate call from the head designer and co-owner, Kent. He took the time to explain that while tropical flowers had been hard to source, he had alternatives that would "wow" her just the same. We spent a brief moment talking about likes, dislikes, and he promised to send through photos of the final product. It did not disappoint, it was beautiful. Although not anything like the arrangement I had initially ordered, it had everything we had discussed and actually was a great fit for the occasion. Transparently, I have not purchased flowers from here, but I just had an experience with a gentleman here that I believe was the owner. My three kids (all under 8) and I had just purchased Donuts from the shop a couple doors down. We were sitting out in front of this shop on the bench. This gentleman came out of the shop and said very kindly to my children "when you are all done, please come in and pick out a flower for your mom." When we finished our donuts, we went in to his very clean and neat little shop. He invited us into the back and allowed my kids each to pick a flower that they thought their mom would appreciate. He had a huge variety of beautiful flowers in the back. He and the other two ladies in there were very sweet to my children. We thanked them and left. While I have not been a customer of this store to this point, I will in the future. I'll also recommend them to friends and family as well. Ended up using Arapaho flowers to send my aunt some flowers for her birthday because this was the only location that would deliver to her address. The flowers were absolutely beautiful but unfortunately they didn't even last the week. They were wilting and falling off the stems in about 3 to 4 days.
