I sent flowers to my sister who has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. Her response? "They look like I feel." Well we got a laugh out of that anyway. When the driver handed her the flowers, the vase had no water in it. It also didn't come with any floral food packet. The flowers were wilted, bruised, and the greens were broken and even had brown spots on them. The roses were wide open and maybe have 2-3 days left before they start falling apart. The flowers and greens should have been cut to size and arranged in floral foam so that they had a nice rounded form as shown in the example. That's what floral designers do and that's what I thought I was paying for. The point of the leaf inside the vase as pictured in the example (but nowhere to be found in the arrangement) is to hide the floral foam. And, there should be at least a half-assed effort at being the flowers promised. There were 2 orchids, but no shasta daisies, no mums or other flowers as shown. The roses and a couple orchids are the only common flowers. This is absolutely atrocious. It looks like it was thrown together by the delivery driver in the back of his ride which I'm guessing is exactly what happened after he slammed on the brakes and it skidded across the bed of the van. I paid almost $120 for this. Never again. read more

I had stumbled on their IG page @arapahoflowers a while back and thought I'd love to give them a try! I'm so glad I remembered them as I looked to have flowers delivered to a friend for her birthday. The website features gorgeous arrangements and sophisticated, one-of-a-kind designs. I'd selected the Exotic Finesse, something that would remind her of her trips to Southeast Asia. After booking, I received an immediate call from the head designer and co-owner, Kent. He took the time to explain that while tropical flowers had been hard to source, he had alternatives that would "wow" her just the same. We spent a brief moment talking about likes, dislikes, and he promised to send through photos of the final product. It did not disappoint, it was beautiful. Although not anything like the arrangement I had initially ordered, it had everything we had discussed and actually was a great fit for the occasion. The height, depth, textures and the contrast of tropical, seasonal, and classic elegance is perfect. I'd definitely take the time and order from their shop again; customer service, quality flora, and inspired designs really set this shop apart from the rest. read more

Kent supplied flowers for our son's Rehearsal Dinner. I was getting crazy quotes and upsells from other florists and was very stressed. His simple design was just what I wanted and he found the perfect vases, all at a reasonable price. He contacted the venue to arrange delivery. Stress gone. read more

I ordered flowers from their website to be delivered to a nearby clinic and the flowers look nothing like the online picture. I understand things supply fluctuate and it is okay except I do not think it is on par with the price it was charged. I think it's disappointing and very deceptive. If they are going to substitute it due to lack of availability it should at least reflect the price the customer paid for it. Disappointing. read more

First time ever using this company and I was completely impressed. Kent was extremely upfront and forthcoming when they realized they didn't have the orchids that were part of my order. They immediately emailed me and apologized for the shortage due to their vendor, and politely offered to give me a free upgrade with extra flowers. They then sent me a picture to make sure I was 100% satisfied before delivery. The order wowed my husband as well as all of his coworkers. Their customer service and level of professionalism wowed me. Thank you! read more

I highly recommend this florist. Kent understands the meaning of world class service. He understands that if you are sending flowers to someone it is a very special occasion. I sent flowers to my daughter for a big birthday. Kent sent me the picture of the arrangement. It was absolutely stunning! However, I noticed there was one flower in the lovely bouquet that she is allergic to. It is a specific lily. I forgot to tell Kent when I ordered it. I told him to put together a beautiful arrangement. It was my fault I should have been more specific. I called Kent and told him to stop the order and please replace the lily. Kent checked and it was too late! It was delivered. The next day Kent sent out a smaller version of the same arrangement minus the lily. That was not necessary but so much appreciated! I arrived in Dallas the next day for her birthday celebration and saw both arrangements. Stunning is an understatement. I will be using this florist for all my special occasions. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. You will not be disappointed nor will your recipient of the flowers. Have a great day. Amelia read more

I placed an order and didn't know the receiving party was released from the hospital that morning. Kent immediately called to let me know and explained what options I had to ensure we could get the flowers delivered. Unfortunately, this has happened to me twice and both times Kent went above and beyond to make sure the flowers were delivered even if that meant making an additional trip to the hospital. My experience with the owner can only be described in one word: amazing. He's the kindest, most caring florist I've met. He truly cares that his customers are so completely happy with his work and will do anything he can to make sure of it. Thank you so much for making this arrangement for me. It was a delight working with you and will do so again in the future. I only have wonderful things to say about your business and yourself. Transparently, I have not purchased flowers from here, but I just had an experience with a gentleman here that I believe was the owner. My three kids (all under 8) and I had just purchased Donuts from the shop a couple doors down. We were sitting out in front of this shop on the bench. This gentleman came out of the shop and said very kindly to my children "when you are all done, please come in and pick out a flower for your mom." When we finished our donuts, we went in to his very clean and neat little shop. He invited us into the back and allowed my kids each to pick a flower that they thought their mom would appreciate. He had a huge variety of beautiful flowers in the back. He and the other two ladies in there were very sweet to my children. We thanked them and left. While I have not been a customer of this store to this point, I will in the future. I'll also recommend them to friends and family as well. This experience was a bright spot in our day and their mom absolutely loved the flowers that each child was able to give them individually. Thank you again to our new friends at Arapaho Flowers! read more

Arapaho Flowers - Beautiful Birthday arrangement exceptional service! They have always done an excellent job. - Flowers & Gifts Near Me - Richardson, Texas

My biggest issue was they overcharged: We came on the Saturday preceding Mother's Day, which was where the mistake initially occurred (on our part), because they were committed until Tuesday for orders. From their remaining options, the flowers were much higher than elsewhere, but I wanted to support local businesses, especially because of COVID's impact overall. They accidentally left the price on the hydrangeas as $60, prompting me to go back and ask if their $65 charge was a mistake. No, the owner intentionally made that decision, hence the less than 5 stars. read more

Beautiful artistry, great, fast service, and friendly! What's not to like?! They will be my go-to florist from now on.

It was my daughter-in-laws' birthday, she was a new mother (3 weeks), and isolated (Covid). Although our son told us she was thrilled to be a mom, she was exhausted. My husband suggested we send flowers (he knows how much they brighten my "blue" days) and so I went online to find a florist in their area. I was a bit apprehensive that the store might not be open, but a soft-spoken gentleman answered and immediately welcomed my call. After discussing and describing what I would like, he assured me the flowers would be delivered that day. A short while later, i received a text message with a photo of the arrangement. It was magnificent! I was more than satisfied. A few days later I ordered the same arrangement sent to my other daughter-in-law. She loved it! I highly recommend Araphaho Flowers for any occasion. Customer service top-notch. Beautiful flowers, great value. I went to the shop on a busy day right before Christmas, but Kent sat down with me and made time for my order. His taste is impeccable, and the floral selections were not only beautiful, but a good value. Kent went out of his way to keep me involved with each step of the flower delivery for my Mother's service. He was very kind in my hour of need. The delivery man (his name escapes me) was also very kind and considerate, as I happened to be at the church when he delivered the flowers. Thank you, Arapahoe Flowers, for making a difficult time better. I will recommend this business to anyone. read more

Ended up using Arapaho flowers to send my aunt some flowers for her birthday because this was the only location that would deliver to her address.
