The pride Sport Scooter was taken in after three years of hard use, and Tom has it out the same day. Very helpful with what I needed. I wasn't able to specifically get exactly what I went in there for however when I was there I did find a couple things that he was selling like a cupholder for my walker which I've been wanting for a long time and the owner came out and helped me adjust my walker and tighten some things up just to be helpful without any obligation for me even though he wasn't able to help me with exactly what I needed which honestly I can't remember what that was but I would highly recommend this place because they were very friendly and even later when I called for some thing and they couldn't help they were happy to recommend me to another business that could help which turned out to be very useful. read more

On my most recent visit, I was shopping for a bedrail; while he did not have the type I needed in stock, by the time I had gotten off the phone with my mother, he had found one on Amazon that guarenteed next day delivery (which was the day I needed it!). When it was delivered the following day, it was damaged. Tom did not pass the damaged item onto me or make me haggle with the distributor...he jumped on the phone, worked his magic and had the item replaced by 3pm the same day. Above and beyond! We had family visiting from out town arrive pretty late in the evening and decided that they wanted to go to Disneyland within the next few days. I contacted AR mobility via the yelp app since it was after business hours and got a response and quote for a rental the next morning. I called the office to verify and they said that the chair was already on hold for us! The rental process was super easy and the rental was clean and in good condition. Bought a basic wheel chair from Tom. Good chair except it developed a nasty squeak in the left rear wheel within the first about mile of rolling. Brought it back into Tom and he fixed it on the spot. The wheel had been bolted on too tightly at the factory. That became evident when he free-spun the two large wheels with the chair upside down, and the right wheel slowed down to a stop notably faster than the left. read more

I have two Power Wheels Thomas the Train sets that my children ride around all day. Both of them simply stopped working. No matter what i did, i could not figure out what was wrong. I did a great deal of research before purchasing a scooter for my 90-year-old parents who have various mobility issues, but still wanted to "walk" their dog themselves. We originally purchased a larger heavier model, since the original intent was for use on the neighborhood streets. Went to AR Mobility to order a new back for my TiLite manual wheelchair, as the back frame caps were missing and the upholstery appeared to be ripped on one side. They fashioned some caps quickly and with the help of Saeed, a merchant from a couple of doors down, stitched the upholstery, saving me a couple hundred in costs, and I didn't even have to give up my chair to have work done! SERVICE DOES EXIST.....!! WE found AR Mobility on Yelp - we needed to rent a wheelchair for a cruise - additionally we were having some problems with a wheelchair that we owned. TOM BARRY told us to bring our wheel chair and he would look at it. My daughter was sick and we somehow lost a part to her nebulizer. So when I went to Walgreens to see if I could buy it I was told that I needed a prescription to purchase it and was turned away. So I called another pharmacy to make sure and they said I didn't need a prescription but they didn't have the part. That's when I called AR Mobility. We rented a hospital bed for our sick mother. We used it for around 3 months and thought we would do Tom a favor and return the bed to his store. We also donated a wheelchair and walker. Tom seemed like he was disgusted and put out. After spending some good money at his store we would have thought he would have asked did everything work out good? Anything we could have done better? Rented a wheel chair for $15 because I have back and hip issues that do not allow me to stand long hours at events. Most places ask for a deposit for rentals, but this place just asks to have your debit or credit card on file and they need to see your drivers license. It's located at the industrial buildings on Gothard. The Rental electric wheel chair cost $35 which is a good deal and cheaper than renting at theme parks. Owner is nice read more
