Best place around if you need any medical equipment . He knows what he is talking about. If you need sometime he does not have in stock he can get it for you in a day or so. I bought two elective shooters and could be more happy than I am. He fixed my wife's walker for a very reasonable price. His prices are the best. He is a expert about medical equipment. read more

Arrived during official working hours just to find the place completely locked. There is a paper note on the door saying "by appointment only," but there is absolutely no mention of this on their profile online. Total waste of time. Update your hours and stop misleading people. read more

Great service! Came in last minute for my mother who needed a mobility scooter for 4th of July. Did not disappoint. So thankful they had a scooter available so my mother's holiday weekend was a blast! The owner stayed and waited for us to arrive. Got us taken care of and out of there quickly. Also allowed us to keep the rental during the extended holiday weekend! Thank you!! read more

Absolutely the most helpful customer service ever. We were able to rent a mobility scooter for my mom at the last minute for our daughter's graduation. Drop off and pick up service. The scooter was perfect and in excellent condition. The battery last in a long time I will definitely use it again! read more

So helpful! I'm incapacitated at the moment, and she's the only one in the area that rents and delivers to your door electric and manual wheelchairs. So knowledgeable in variety of devices to help choose best for me. Thank you read more

The pride Sport Scooter was taken in after three years of hard use, and Tom has it out the same day. Found more things that needed repair and did everything we talked about, ar a MORE than fair price. Glad we found him!! Had some interesting stuff on the floor also. Update 4/12/19 8 months later, & 5 times a week, on HIGH speed for 50+ minutes, and the battery he recommended is still running STRONG!! Thanks for your recommendation and service read more

The owner was so accommodating. Rather than charge me for a repair, she gave me a spare part she had that I could just put on my wheelchair myself. Very honest & kind! read more

Very helpful with what I needed. I wasn't able to specifically get exactly what I went in there for however when I was there I did find a couple things that he was selling like a cupholder for my walker which I've been wanting for a long time and the owner came out and helped me adjust my walker and tighten some things up just to be helpful without any obligation for me even though he wasn't able to help me with exactly what I needed which honestly I can't remember what that was but I would highly recommend this place because they were very friendly and even later when I called for some thing and they couldn't help they were happy to recommend me to another business that could help which turned out to be very useful. read more

I bought a new Pride GoGo Sport from Tom after he gave me great advice. I liked it so much I went back and bought a used one for friends to join me. Again Tom provided great service. I have subsequently recommended the store to two other folks who bought the same scooters. We are all impressed and delighted with everything involved with Tom and AR Mobility. I have subsequently dropped in to get advice and information from Tom and have found is a great source. read more

I just purchased an aluminum ramp for my Scooter. Not only did the gentleman treat me like I was his most important customer, he gave me a great price on the ramp! Then after I agreed on the great price, he gave me a Military discount without me even asking for it! I am just not used to being treated like this any longer in a retail store. I will ALWAYS try AR MOBILITY first when I need anything else that he can help me with! Doug Smith read more

The reviews say it all...Tom is the only person you want to work with when you are going through something that brings you to AR Mobility. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable-the kind of person you need during what's likely a challenging time. On my most recent visit, I was shopping for a bedrail; while he did not have the type I needed in stock, by the time I had gotten off the phone with my mother, he had found one on Amazon that guarenteed next day delivery (which was the day I needed it!). When it was delivered the following day, it was damaged. Tom did not pass the damaged item onto me or make me haggle with the distributor...he jumped on the phone, worked his magic and had the item replaced by 3pm the same day. Above and beyond! I am forever loyal and will always come here first for any medical supplies. Tom, I hope you read this so you know how thankful I am and how much your help was appreciated! My parents had a wonderful visit and the bedrail you found us was perfect. They plan to use it to travel in the future. Thank you so much. read more

We had family visiting from out town arrive pretty late in the evening and decided that they wanted to go to Disneyland within the next few days. I contacted AR mobility via the yelp app since it was after business hours and got a response and quote for a rental the next morning. I called the office to verify and they said that the chair was already on hold for us! The rental process was super easy and the rental was clean and in good condition. They have other medical supply products for sale in their shop as well. Drop off was easy and we would definitely rent from them again. read more

I just purchased an electric scooter from AR Mobility. Tom Barry, the owner, was extremely helpful helping me decide which scooter is wanted to purchase. He really knows his products. I would recommend AR to anyone who is thinking of purchasing an electric scooter and any medical equipment. I rate them 5 stars. read more

Bought a basic wheel chair from Tom. Good chair except it developed a nasty squeak in the left rear wheel within the first about mile of rolling. Brought it back into Tom and he fixed it on the spot. The wheel had been bolted on too tightly at the factory. That became evident when he free-spun the two large wheels with the chair upside down, and the right wheel slowed down to a stop notably faster than the left. read more

Super easy to rent a wheelchair via email. I emailed them about a quote, got a prompt response, provided payment info and had the wheelchair ready for pick up. Very convenient process which is much appreciated. Thanks! read more

This is the best place by far to obtain mobility equipment and get advice. Tom Barry even came to our home to advise us about storing the motorized chair Joe will get Friday. Tom thanked Joe for his WWII service and donated a shed ramp. Tom is altruistic and gives discounts. AR MOBILITY is our recommendation for sure! read more

I have two Power Wheels Thomas the Train sets that my children ride around all day. Both of them simply stopped working. No matter what i did, i could not figure out what was wrong. I called the manufacturer and they sent me a list of Power Wheels authorized dealers. I called AR Mobility and stopped by. Tom was GREAT! He spent time looking up the parts that needed to be replaced. He fixed both of my trains very quickly and at a very reasonable price. I would definitely come back to AR Mobility. Thank you! read more

Tom is hands-down the best customer service I've ever experienced. He sold me a used scooter that was perfect for my needs and has serviced it over the three years that I've had it. I really appreciate his knowledgeable service and his store has so many products that I didn't even know existed but have made my life easier! So many people ask me where I purchased the scooter since it is small and not a huge motorcycle-looking scooter, and I always recommend them to Tom at AR Mobility, because he actually knows what he's talking about and would be the best person to get them the right scooter for their needs. read more

Very convenient. Very easy transaction. I had to buy my sister a new power chair and I was worried it would be a painful experience. Tom gave us a good price. He even delivered the new chair to the assisted living facility and picked up the old one. He was very helpful and he's right in my neighborhood which made it very convenient. He's knowledgeable about the products which made it extra nice. read more

I did a great deal of research before purchasing a scooter for my 90-year-old parents who have various mobility issues, but still wanted to "walk" their dog themselves. We originally purchased a larger heavier model, since the original intent was for use on the neighborhood streets. When they moved to an assisted living facility and their needs changed to indoor and less and flatter outdoor use, Tom did a great trade-in deal for a smaller lighter model. Happy parents, happy daughter, happy Yelper! read more

SERVICE DOES EXIST.....!! WE found AR Mobility on Yelp - we needed to rent a wheelchair for a cruise - additionally we were having some problems with a wheelchair that we owned. TOM BARRY told us to bring our wheel chair and he would look at it. We brought our wheelchair to Tom and he immediately got out his tools and proceed to work on our wheelchair -tightening and adjusting the piece on the chair - and told us we would be best to use it instead of renting one - TOM did not charge for his service - IT is truly hard to find such a friendly and help store owner - next time we need supplies or wheelchair will go back to him - read more

I was having a hard time walking even short distances. I was looking for a dealer that would rent a scooter to me for a long weekend and found AR Mobility. Tom Barry is the most amazing and compassionate man. He not only rented me the scooter but also sold me it at a wonderful price that I could afford and also sold me a walker. Both were sold to me cheaper than I had seen many other places for the same products. I highly recommend AR Mobility for any and all medical supplies to everyone and have to many friends and strangers. read more

Tom was great! We were in a rush to rent or fix our transit chair. He took a look at it, told me it'd take only 5-10 minutes and he was quick. Super friendly, easy going and helpful! I didn't catch the pricing but the shop has at least half of the items I've needed to purchase for my ailing mother. If I ever need anything fast I'd come back to his shop for an easy and helpful experience. read more

Went to AR Mobility to order a new back for my TiLite manual wheelchair, as the back frame caps were missing and the upholstery appeared to be ripped on one side. They fashioned some caps quickly and with the help of Saeed, a merchant from a couple of doors down, stitched the upholstery, saving me a couple hundred in costs, and I didn't even have to give up my chair to have work done! Thank you! read more

Tom Barry is exactly what the last review claimed he would be! On our way to another scooter store we decided to stop in to check out the AR Mobility store and left with a great scooter and a wonderful experience throughout the process. My daughter was sick and we somehow lost a part to her nebulizer. So when I went to Walgreens to see if I could buy it I was told that I needed a prescription to purchase it and was turned away. So I called another pharmacy to make sure and they said I didn't need a prescription but they didn't have the part. That's when I called AR Mobility. I spoke to a gentleman that took the time even though he didn't really deal with what I needed to see if he possibly had what I was looking for. He not only had the part but was grateful enough to give it to me for free. Thanks again I am truly grateful!!! :-) read more

Rented a wheel chair for $15 because I have back and hip issues that do not allow me to stand long hours at events. Most places ask for a deposit for rentals, but this place just asks to have your debit or credit card on file and they need to see your drivers license. It's located at the industrial buildings on Gothard. The Rental electric wheel chair cost $35 which is a good deal and cheaper than renting at theme parks. Owner is nice read more

We rented a hospital bed for our sick mother. We used it for around 3 months and thought we would do Tom a favor and return the bed to his store. We also donated a wheelchair and walker. Tom seemed like he was disgusted and put out. After spending some good money at his store we would have thought he would have asked did everything work out good? Anything we could have done better? He seemed very ungrateful and no thank you for your business. Would NEVER EVER rent from here again. read more
