First of all her approach: her encouraging and caring personality put me so much at ease - especially at the thought of having clean off what was now left of my hair. Then, Maria walked me through how treating me with a conditioning balm was going to help and expertly shaved my head so beautifully. Meeting with and being served by Maria was a true unexpected blessing and inspirational encounter that day. Maria was a such a warm, engaging and uplifting soul that brought me to tears. At the end of it all I could not leave without asking for a hug as I thanked God for finding her. To add to the blessing, Maria refused any compensation for her amazing professional service. Michelle's room was "WOW" according to my kiddo. She offered beverages for us my daughter had a sprite and I had a coffee. The outcome was gorgeous. Selena wasn't available, but Jessica was. When my friend and I met up for brunch at Killen's, I couldn't stop staring and admiring her hair. She showed me Jessica's IG, and it had her portfolio of color and cut with previous clients. I knew I made the right choice booking with her. Since we're still in the midst of a pandemic (weird to say but now the norm), you had to call to say you were here and wait outside before coming up to the second floor. I was 10 mins early, so I sat at the picnic tables outside till it was time. They checked my temp and had hand sanitizer available. Everyone wore masks. I waited maybe 5 more mins in their seating area. I didn't mind because I know how color services can go over time if it's done right. Jessica greeted me, asked if I wanted a beverage, and did a quick consultation before getting started. I showed her some hair color ideas on Pinterest and other silver/blonde hair I had in the past. She took the time to listen to what I wanted. I wanted to keep my length, and she respected that. I love her method of balayage and use of multiple toners to add dimension. It looks so natural and blends well. I received so many compliments. She took her time and was so personable and easy to talk to. She gave great advice on hair tips. I have found my new stylist! The stations are spacious, and the chairs at the washing station are comfortable. They don't leave you feeling like you got whiplash. Lol. They use Goldwell and Kevin Murphy products that smell divine. All the stylists are talented and trained to do color and cut. Bonus points!! This was the hairapy I needed before my birthday. But I got talked into a haircut on top of it because the stylist thought there was too much of a shelf to my layers. So, I rolled with it. I called Chelsea and talked to her about the new appointment she assured me that 100% she will not cancel again at the last minute (since I had an event to attend the following week) I rescheduled the appointment for today Friday at 1 PM Once again I confirmed my appointment took another day off work AND - today an hour before my appointment time I received a call from the receptionist at Level eleven claiming that Chelsie had a family emergency and cannot do my hair and that my appointment is canceled! And simply HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!! I called back and asked to speak with the owner and she said the owner will call me back. I did get a call back from the owner Ashley Osborn who claimed that Chelsie only rents a chair there and they are not responsible for her booking. She did apologize and offered a future appointment with another stylist and a discount. I explained that It's not about the money and that unfortunately, I am out 2 days of work and my event is tomorrow morning, so this is very upsetting. There is no way I can find a stylist at the last minute. The response" she only rents a chair here is unacceptable" Who does that ?? I f I would have canceled last minute twice they would have expected me to pay ....... There is absolutely no excuse for this level of disregard and unprofessionalism. I was not surprised to find out today that this Salon Level eleven used to be called Studio Eclipse Salon (same address same employees) THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER changed BUT the people are the same (Ashley Osborn, Chelsea Haley ).
