Experience: Seaworld and Aquatica were offering military 4 free tickets, so I took advantage and took my family. We decided to go on Friday 26 Jun. Facility: This place is nice and a good size for the kids to roam. Service: Well, we discussed this amongst our family several times as we dealt with both rude and horrible staff and kind and friendly staff. You can definitely tell those who enjoy their job and those that need to find a new line of work, because customer service and client interaction is not their forte. LOL! Food: we bought all day dinning and drinks, which is definitely the right way to go. The drinks alone pay for themselves. Unlike other big parks, everything on their menus seems to be available on the all day dinning versus only certain choices... so that is great!! You get one entre choice (chicken tenders, burger, ribs, tacos, fish sandwich, pizza, etc), one side (fries, salad, fruit, mac and cheese, coleslaw, etc) and 1 dessert (cupcake, cookie, fruit, even a pickle, which I appreciated as I didn't want dessert) every 90 minutes. So no one went hungry. We even bring some ziplock bags so they can nibble on their pizza later. Most of the food was good, and some was really good. If you've only been to Aquatica during the day, AquaGlow is a completely different experience! We went during the nighttime event, which runs from May through September, and it was so much fun seeing the entire park come to life with glowing lights and neon colors. My favorite parts were floating through Roa's Rapids surrounded by colorful lights and spotting the glowing jellyfish along the pathways. Even the beachfront cabanas lit up at night, making the whole park feel like a summer glow party. Of course, we couldn't pass up the Rainbow Cheesecake ice cream, and it ended up being one of our favorite treats of the night. Not only was it delicious, but it actually glowed too, which made it even more fun. AquaGlow is one of those experiences that makes you feel like a kid again. We recently went to Aquatica on a warm Saturday morning! The traffic was horrendous. Field Service Officers were at the entrance directing traffic but they only made it worse. They were directing traffic based on the traffic signals and not using any strategic or common sense approach. For context, if no cars were crossing over I-Drive into the park, vehicles making a right turn into the park should have been allowed to turn right while waiting for that light to change. It took about an hour to travel a half mile. Once we were on property, we were directed to parking lot C. It was a little walk to and from the entrance. Thankfully we got to Aquatica when we did. We heard later from other park guests that some people had to park at SeaWorld and walk over to Aquatica. We enjoyed the lazy river and wave pool. The lines for the rides were really long so we didn't bother. We did dine at Waterstone Grill. The gift shop staff was pleasant. We utilized park bucks for a gift shop purchase and at Waterstone Grill. The bucks were available to pass members to spend in park. Bucks had to be redeemed via kiosks. Once redeemed, kiosks dispersed the vouchers (bucks) for use. Pass members also received two bonus free guest tickets. I redeemed those prior to our arrival and presented at the park entrance. i was really excited to visit here with my son but it was sort of an experience due to a number of reasons. it took us two hours to get in like right at the exit 1 - all due to traffic lights and flow of traffic in not being seamless. i'm not sure where blame is due there but that's a bad vibe to start the whole park entrance. i know crowd control doesn't fall on the park per se - but orlando as a city should look into this! people were like getting out of their cars on the highway confused. inside was PACKED. and my friends couldn't make it in because of full parking capacity with no allocation of other options. the lockers were starting at $41, parking also starts at $41 and it goes up for better quality. we got the bbq cheeseburger but the fries were honestly my fave part of the day. really good fries. also - mobile order is key - we got our food fast that way but fellow people had waited 2 hours ... the lazy river was not clear, but alas we swam. the park as a whole looked nice and big, i did enjoy the variety of offerings and my son is not quite that age yet but he had slides and places to play so i did appreciate that. i am hesitant to visit again on a weekend but maybe it could be a better experience on a week day or better time. read more

They smelled terrible and one of the water slides that I was looking forward to was not up and running that day. That was a waterslide when you get on a Mat and you go down and race other than that had a great time will definitely revisit, but I hope they get the bathroom smelling a little better because they smelled like a Gas station bathroom. First off it was HOT this week in Orlando lol. My dad got free tickets as a veteran and we paid for 2 dining meals. We went around 12 pm but then they said the parking lot was closed because it was at max capacity so we couldn't even get in. That was disappointing. We went back around 3:30 pm and we got in. It was entirely too many people. We got something to eat first and got our dining wristbands. The food was pretty good and fairly quick. We found seats at the wave pool beach and just enjoyed that for the most part. We were going to go on a slide but then the clouds started getting grey around 6:30 and they closed the slides . They closed at 7:30 so it was not point in waiting around. We tried to get one more meal before we left but the line was so long, it wasn't even worth it at that point. By the time we got out the exit, it started down pouring, we got out just in time. Since the tickets were free, it wasn't bad. But this time it wasn't worth it but I'm glad my daughter had fun with her friends. I think next time , I'll plan ahead so I can see more of the park. read more

Lets not forget the Lazy River that everyone loves and enjoys They have a variety of cabanas you can rent and lounge around in, particularly the Family & Premium Cabins right in between the two wave pools which is where I stayed at and was absolutely secure, safe, and convenient. They are also even guarded and watched over by Aquatica Orlando Personnel. They have an attendant to take care of you, a locked safe with a key, and a QR code in your Cabana and they will deliver all drinks and food over to you. As part of my Girl Scout end of the year trip, he wanted to participate in aqua glow. We purchased our tickets with the help of staff due to our tax exempt status. Everything was very smooth and easy to coordinate. A very cool thing about aqua glow is that while it is for the nighttime event, you can come in as early as 4 PM. Our group got there at six as we had a cabana rental that would be available at seven. We were able to find chairs while the kids started getting on the slides while we waited for the cabana. The seven person cabana rental was $249 but honestly, it was worth it. It was great having a central location for the kids to meet up. They supplied waters and a little fridge. It also has a locker with a key so you can put your valuables away and go through the park with the peace of mind of knowing that your stuff was safe. I love a waterpark and I had a great time at aquatica. The rapids lazy river was probably my favorite. The kids went on all of the slides. I was a little disappointed when I went into the wave pool after it reopened at 8 PM. We went through four different countdowns and no waves. We had bought the pre-dinner meal ticket. I was not a fan of the food and there weren't many people who enjoyed it. I had chicken tenders and fries, but it wasn't great. But it was a really cool event. I love how they lit up the park in aqua colors. Definitely a great experience and I would come back. Save your money and don't even bother coming here. Drove 2+ hours, then waited an hour and a half to move 0.5 miles to enter the park. I arrived to the general area (less than 0.5 miles away) around 11:15 and was not able to park until 12:41. Spend the extra money and go to Disney or universal so you can at least enter the park. I tried calling customer service and they offered me absolutely no help. Then they charge you $50 to park. They also have no Florida resident discount unlike the other two parks. Don't even bother coming, it's not worth it at all. There's a reason Disney and Universal have significant more customers coming back. After attending the park, it's even worse on the inside. I was unable to physically enter the park until around 1pm. There is zero organization to enter the park, it is essentially a free for all. There was a woman who was suffering from heat stroke, seated on the ground, hyperventilating and no employees were helping her, only guests. Probably due to their water stations being absolutely empty... in Florida... in June... After entering the park, I literally waited over an hour for a drink. Every time I'd go to order a drink it was over a 30+ minute wait. Every other park in Orlando provides better service and is a million times more efficient. All of the kids slides were closed off due to lack of staffing on a Saturday... literally go to your local water park for cheaper and you will have ten times more fun. read more

I was a typhoon lagoon addict for years until... Aquatica! We recently moved back to Orlando and love it more than ever! Smaller, handled people flow better, cleaner, even the expensive food (get em while and cause you can) mango hut chicken and fries were great. We became platinum members and now it's ours anytime we want! The only suggestion is there are a couple of bored sleepy lifeguards that need to go home already. This is a fantastic water park in the Orlando area. Its sea world's water park. The park has great slides and a nice lazy river. Even a faster river rapid lazy river kinda thing lol. The park restrooms were amazingly clean. The food was good and the all day dining plan it's a great deal. The wave pool is nice but low key waves nothing crazy like typhoon lagoons. This was my first time at Aquatica. I came for a charity event that was raising money for the Special Olympics - the Polar Plunge. I didn't personally go in the water or ride the rides as I was only there for the event but it was really cool to see the water park. There are a lot of super cool water slides and water play areas. I think this is a great place for families. You can pay $300 for an annual pass and come back all year long. If you go more than 3 times it would be worth it. In Florida, it be fun to have an annual pass to a waterpark, especially in the hot summers. While we were there, I had a pretzel and it was actually really good. Sometimes theme park snacks are just overpriced and not very tasty. For lunch I had pork tacos which were just okay. What an AWESOME DAY! This was my family and I, 2nd time coming here, and weren't disappointed, such a BLAST! We bought tickets on Groupon for $140 for all three of us to go. We spent $70 for up front parking, $45 for a locker, $35 for an all day eat pass, and $180 for fast passes....TOTALLY WORTH IT! Food was better than most amusement parks as far as quality is concerned, and we shared our meals, the all day pass is good for one, but there is enough to go around for a family of (3). Had an upside down cake that was warm and freshly made. The fast pass, really is the TRUE HACK for getting your money/time worth, you fly by all the lines and average wait time is like 10 mins max. We went on-pretty much every slide they had, before the park (Weather) closed at 5:30. We expected that leaving from Palm Harbor, and running from the storm, but it's that time of the year. The only thing I can say I did not like about our experience, someone vomited in one of the garbage cans, that we have to pass by multiple times to get to our locker. We showed up at 9:00am and by 5:30pm the garbage cans was still-not taken care of. All-In-All, I will definitely come back again. These bad reviews for this waterpark has no merit, in some cases. It was my first time ever at Aquatica on Tuesday June 24, 2025. It was insanely busy and 4 (or 5?) attractions were closed!!!!! The wait for every slide was an hour!!! At one point they shut one down and people kept waiting. I got a fast past (which is $60!!) which I highly recommend however if I knew most attractions especially the best ones were closed I would not have done it maybe. I have a season pass at island h2o and it's price wise way better, the slides are better. What I did like was the very fast lazy River!! And the other lazy River has a fish and dolphin watch. That elevates the experience. Island H2O might have a few less attractions and is a smaller park but at least they are all open and I never had a long wait there before. I won't be back here, not worth it if you pay full for half the experience. read more

I can't believe I had not visited this park after living in Florida most of my life. We came to Orlando for a few days and didn't really have anything booked or planned. This park happened to be 4 mins from our hotel so we decided to spend a day here. Ideal for families and for kids over 48 inches (so they can go on more slides). Although they have a huge area for smaller children. We had a blast in all slides, the 'beaches' areas, lazy river and the rapid river. I had a great time with family at the illuminate in the evening. It was nice weather and gorgeous lights. I enjoyed some eats while I was there. They were pretty ymy and glad I had the chance to try them. Some of my favorite items were the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup. The the flatbread pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious and fresh. I would recommend other families to go check it out for some awesome photos and spending time with each other. In the kiddos area with the slides no one is managing tubes for the children so we have to wait til little Susie went fifty times and was tired of her tub. Which didn't really happen. My experiences there have been great. I've gone two times in the three times that I've gone to Florida. The rides are amazing. They're in intriguing. they're intimidating, they're fun, but they're also an element of scary. but me and my mom were riding on riptide race. Everything was going smooth. There was a lot of twist and turns but at the end we're going down into a big old pool of water and there was a bunch of water flying in her face and we went down and we just got shot up like a rocket thrown out of our tube. Very good lazy rivers. Great plants all around. The tie in with Sea World is good with dolphins, fish, and sharks integrated. Arrival was awful, it took almost an hour to get into the parking lot, to pay $42 for parking. One of the major rides I got in line for broke down when we were finally near the top after an hour. Things happen...but they said it would take over an hour for the mechanic to even arrive, and they have no mechanism to give you any one time quick queue or anything to come back later. The staff in general were pretty lackadaisical compared to other water parks I've been to, in terms of keeping things running both safely & smoothly. Have my passes for over 15yrs and it seems like it's a "hit or miss" when it comes to the helpfulness and behavior of the food and store attendants. Was there 06.08.26 and came across the most annoyed employee, "Sophia". Not sure if it was not her day or she didn't care about her job. I bought an all-day drink sticker and anything I asked bothered her. Went to refill and scanner was not working for me or any other guest that tried it. We asked and she just kept repeating herself "Did you keep trying" over and over, that was extent of her help. We said yes and she asked if should come out and help, not every nicely, irritated. Several guest were saying she was very rude and what was her problem. When I ask for her supervisor's name, she yelled "Kathy" or something - I chose to just walk away and take care if it later,,, the day was NOT about her. However she kept yelling "Do you want me to call her" on & on as I walked away. Now I really enjoy Aquatica but the staff really needs better training, this is not the first time aka "Silvia" (Kiwi Market), now she is just plain nasty. Don't even know why she is still there, know of several complaints against her. This does NOT happen at SeaWorld, never had any issues, mind you with passes for over 15yrs as I said. The kids had the time of their lives! The water slides are numerous and accommodate all levels of children. The park gets an A+ for providing water fun. Now we all know that the food at such places is more expensive and maybe not so great, but this business takes it to a whole new level. $9 for a medium ICEE, $12 for a beer. The chicken nuggets and hotdogs are the lowest of quality to the point a person would lose their appetite. Their gift shop items are outrageously expensive. Their cash registers sit silent because nobody except the few rich folks that don't look at prices only buy stuff. Seems they would get more advertising out in the world if the products with their name sold at reasonable prices. The other thing is the maintenance of the place is scant. Lots of faded fiberglass structures that makes the place look more like some starving roadside attraction instead of a shiny new place. Most people probably don't care, however, you just eliminate another small percentage when you degrade your appearance. Terrible experience with Aquatica in Orlando. My family planned a whole trip around going to the park -- hotel stays, rental car, food, everything -- and we never even made it inside. The entry process was so disorganized and crowded that it was basically impossible unless you show up before the sun is even up. We ended up leaving without ever getting in, which left my family extremely disappointed after spending all that money on the trip. Aquatica should truly be a five star water park. My experience overall was solid. It's just difficult to rate it a five. The Staff here is just not well trained (if trained at all). Don't bother asking them a general question, it's a waste of time. The park does not allow outside food. Some staff workers were checking guest's bags for security reasons and to make sure no one was bringing outside food. This was not enforced though, we walked through with our bag pack as did other guests with no issue. We purchased our tickets via the app (which is great btw). We got there early, got our tickets scanned and skipped the long line, only issue was with the quick queue, for some reason they send you to the information booth to get your wristband. This took a while. Apparently there was only one computer working, so we had to stand in the heat for a wristband. We later found out there was another booth inside, not sure how many guests knew about this. We ended up grabbing our wristband there, we found out later that we received the wrong wristband and had to go back to replace it. Smdh! The Quick Queue is a wristband that allows guests to bypass the general line and get on the water slides faster. Prices vary. On this particular day being that it was the Fourth of July weekend we paid $100. My son had a blast, that quick queue came in handy for sure, but I felt that had more to do with the fact that we got there early when the crowd was under control. Again, the workers do a poor job at regulating and don't do much to accommodate guests with a quick queue wristband. There is zero authority at Aquatica, They have the audacity to charge $100 for this perk but once bought, it's fend for yourself. This was disappointing. My advice is get here early as the park gets busy close to noon. You might get away with bringing food and snacks as again I don't think they really care. Even though they warn you not to bring outside food at the entrance Pack light. Eat a good breakfast before getting here unless you're ok paying $15 for a hot dog. Bring a waterproof sling bag (under $20) at Walmart and skip the overprice locker if you can help it. They have seating areas in around the park, (a nice and shady one near Tassi's Twister) unless you're ok paying an arm and a leg for a cabana or lounger, I strongly suggest leaving a towel on the chairs you wish to claim. When that afternoon crowd shows up, you won't find a spot to seat, trust me. Overall, it was a fun time. I would consider coming back in the future, just wish the park was better organized and offered better training to the staff. read more

If you are single person and planning on coming to this park, DON'T. They don't allow single person riding on tubes unless you are with a family member. Only thing I could do is enjoy the rapid river. if you call it that. I'm 315 pounds and weight limit is 300 On most water slides. I understand the weight limit. But because I didn't come with family, I'm denied getting on any rides with tubes. Their lazy river was closed because they didn't have enough staff available on spring break. Go to volcano Bay at universal park, its for everyone. Their slides are way better, and they allow single riders on tubes With others. And their water slides are more operational unless they are doing maintenance.They have a weight limit but that is only for the straight drop water slide. I wanted to try something new and Aquatica is a bust. Not just for single person. There were other slides that were closed. Very disappointing water park. You need to be very careful with annual passes. They get you interested by offering you free tickets and discount tickets.
