Today, I came by for fish supplies, but as always, I stayed for the plants. The mosses, carnivorous plants, and tropical plants are phenomenally put together. Ended up getting some help for my newest fish friend from the staff who recommended the frozen Daphnia. In addition to frozen Daphnia, they sell frozen bloodworms, frozen shrimp, all kinds of frozen fish food. I also learned that they sell frozen mice and rats for any reptile lovers! For any other reviews that have mentioned seeing waste or poop, etc. in an animal's tank, I'd challenge them to please show me an animal's home that doesn't have any! I'd be very concerned that that's an unhealthy animal that needs an examination right away! Since bringing our two guppies home, they have been healthy, vibrant, and full of personality -- a testament to the excellent care they received before we ever walked through the door. We also bought two aquatic plants for our little ones to enjoy and they're thriving just as lovely as the animals! Most of the animals look dying. I actually found a dead gecko, and there were axolotl.Kept with the koi which the koi will kill the boas tank was far too small even for a small snake it did not move with eyes wide open, eyes did not shift when I walked past it. I thought people were exaggerated about the conditions online, but I was sad to see that the animals were badly treated some not as bad. I'm not an expert in aquatic animals. And if I can tell something's wrong, you can bet something has to be really bad. Also, the owners had a weird vibe to them, it was very off putting. They kind of acted like they don't really care that you're there. The bad condition of the place is what kept me from buying anything. I went in and to buy fish maybe a frog. read more

I went in on 1/9/2026 to purchase feeders for my Dragon, I was helped by an employee immediately and while I was waiting I walked around the Reptile room. This was the first Dragon I spotted in destress, I asked the employee if he could help the dragon out and he informed me that the Owner is the only one who handles the reptiles. A few moments pass as I waited for the owner to come and save this dragon from being pinned. I finally went and found the owner (female) who was obviously annoyed with the fact that I was requesting them to help this dragon out, she did drop what she was doing then and went to the reptile room and freed it. When asked by her "Is there anything else?", I informed her that none of the reptiles had food or water and most are clearly in distress. She told me that they are in perfect health, I pointed out numerous dragons with black beards, MBD, reptiles on top of reptile in small enclosures and two large tortoises in a small plastic trough with their water dirt brown and no food. I even told her that the rest of her business is fantastic! Fish look great, plants are amazing but that they clearly did not know how to take care of reptiles. I told her that I have personally offered help in the past free of charge, but that this was my last time bringing it to their attention before reporting them. She then took my information down and told me that her husband would contact me and then proceeded to ban me from the store. I understand why they have a great Google rating, but I urge you to not purchase a reptile from this location, these reptiles need to be vetted and properly cared for. I already know of one that was purchased with severe MBD, fractures in legs and tail and scarring on the lungs, and that's just one! read more

Horrible reptile section. Told the owner about a couple of them needing immediate vet care and he did nothing. Poor animals are still suffering. He needs to stick with fish and stop trying to expand to reptiles without doing research on their proper care. I tried to give him a couple of names for close reptile vets and he brushed me off and those poor things are still there suffering and dying. read more

This is a tough one. I really want to like this store, but there are some problems. Pros: reasonable selection of freshwater fish that you're not likely to find anywhere close to this store. Huge selection of terrarium, aquarium, and other plants. Decent selection of dry goods like foods, equipment, rock, aquariums, terrariums, etc. Cons: lack of knowledge. Customer service. I was in the store about an hour before anyone asked if they could help. When they did finally ask, the 2 I spoke with did not know how to tell male/female shrimp apart, were unable to identify specific fish in the tanks, and told me that a tank with a mix of male & female endlers were all males. This may not seem a big deal, but people that work in or run a specialty shop like this should know their stuff and they simply don't. Another problem is their entire saltwater section. These tanks are disgusting. I would never risk the health of my reef tank to a coral or fish from this store. It's shameful. Again - I want to like this store. This area needs this type of shop! I hope they will do better. read more

Do not buy saltwater livestock here! All their tanks are full of algea, dirty, and majority of the saltwater tanks have dead fish in them. All their coral tanks are disgusting. They forsure don't know what they are doing. Instead go to coral station, best in the area! read more

This is a super cool store for fish and other aquatic animals. They have a lot of aquarium plants, carnivore plants, aquatic animals and other items to go in the tanks and terrariums. The owners are super kind and were incredibly patient as my wife asked question after question, especially about the "mud skippers" that they have in stock in an open tank. These are super cool and their store mascot. They have plans for outdoor pond plants as well as plans for a room for frogs and lizards. Super nice place and staff. read more

The conditions that the reptiles were in were deplorable. Mold in every tank. I wanted to buy them all just to save them from this place.

Have been going to this store, since they opened. They definitely have a much wider range of fish, than some of the competition I have checked out, and really like the quality of the fish that I have seen in their tanks. As I am a former importer/exporter of saltwater fish/corals, reptiles and freshwater fish, I can tell the difference. Whenever, I need to make a purchase I think of coming here, before going elsewhere. The staff are very friendly, and their customer service is quite nice as well. Highly recommend them. read more

0 stars if I could...the most absolutely horrible customer service...I sent my wife and daughter to spend our entire tax return to find and buy fish and plants for a pond we are building, would have spent a few thousand...instead she was berated and cussed at for asking a question on pricing to the point the lady(owner?) got in her face in front of my kid...sorry to inconvenience you..you will never see a single penny from my family again..your little "ban" of my wife won't matter.
