We're so grateful we found this groomer! My Standard Poodle puppy had a traumatic experience at a previous salon, but the patience and professionalism here made an *immediate* difference. After just *one* visit she was noticeably calmer, and that *calm lasted for weeks.* Now she actually looks forward to her appointments and seems happy to see the staff. We did use this business for 10 years until recently. We had our puppies on a 3 week appointment schedule. We missed 1 appointment due to my wife having Covid and the owner Melinda called and said we still owed the full amount and if we didn't pay within 48 hours we were off of there schedule. After 10 years of grooming and boarding. 1 incident. We always knew she had bi-polar issues and never wanted to upset her. But I highly recommend not using this company. read more

I have no regrets in choosing this place to take care of my little senior dog. They actually care about the pets that stay there. That makes such a difference. No complaints. I do recommend, and will definitely return if needed. read more

I have reviewed this establishment before, but I fill compelled to add too that review. Melinda and her staff have gone above and beyond to look out for the safety of pets and clients during this long, long Covid pandemic. They began having clients drop off for curbside, simply honking to get their attention. Today I briefly entered the lobby to drop off my bearded dragon for a nail clipping. They had already come out to my jeep to retrieve my little shih Tzu's. Thee lobby shows event more of their endeavors to protect everyone from illness. Though I will continue curbside as long as it's offered, everyone needs to know the protocols they have put into place to keep us all safe! Way to go Pines Pampering! I've been disrespected now twice by the owner, Melanie, and I will not sit silent any longer. You just called to inquire about a cancelled appointment that you apparently didn't cancel and then start yelling at me on the phone because I'm not showing up to my cancelled appointment. It is not my fault that you or your employees didn't write that down back in February!! We will not be back! Your prices are outrageous and the quality of service has become HORRIBLE!! Awesome boarding experience!!! My Red had never been boarded after becoming a member of our family. He was about 3 yrs old when he earned his forever family status with us...and WE are the lucky ones let me tell you!! I avoided boarding like the plague for years, but the time finally did come when we just could not avoid it. We searched & searched and after much soul-searching...we decided on The Pines Pet. Not once have I regretted that choice!! Red LOVES his time there...it is quite evident when he becomes super animated upon driving into the parking lot and views the store front. He has formed a special bond with all of the staff. They clearly love him and he loves them just as much in return! My husband and I were VERY apprehensive about leaving him. We had never done so and with Red being a rescue...I did NOT want him to think he was being abandoned..AGAIN. Pines Pet was respectful and understanding of my fears. They kept in constant contact with us...even putting a few photos of his daily activities on Facebook so we could feel included. We were encouraged to call whenever we felt the need to check in. Since that first experience, we have boarded several more times. I would not dare take my Red anywhere else. The Pines Pet genuinely cares for your furry family members. They know us by name and will your pet as well. They know the personality of each one and take care to become accustomed to their likes and dislikes. Love this place. My family sends their dogs here when they go out of town. No cages but instead they have their own rooms with a bed. We just got their nails done and had a pleasant experience with all the employees, as always. They are so helpful and you can tell they like what they do and care about the animals. They also have high quality food and snacks there. read more

My dog Chip is a large australian shepard, and we keep him trimmed for the summer here in Texas, he just loves it in there. It is an amazing facility, clean, and the staff are great, friendly and just love him to bits. They even clean his teeth, for half the price of the vet, and they don't put him to sleep. He just gets so excited about going there....and he smells wonderful when I pick him up! read more
