Within 15 minutes I got a call back and described the problem. It was evening, I told them I could wait until morning and the person on the phone said " we have one in stock and will be over first thing in the morning." Sure enough, the truck pulled in bright and early and an hour later, I had a new water heater. Doesn't get much better than that.

Confirmed an appointment with Lowe's Service Department to have our home water treatment system…read morethoroughly serviced with Dan (apparently former owner and "about to retire"). Set up date and time and confirmed 3 days prior to appt. We arranged for house sitter to "babysit" waiting to direct the technician to the water system. Without the courtesy of speaking with me, Dan at Lowe's decided to cancel the appointment a couple of hours before it was supposed to happen. He left a curt/rude voice message that he didn't think he installed the system so wouldn't service it. Multiple calls to his cell phone # were not picked up or returned. Calls to the office were unhelpful as well (won't give service mobile phone #'s so you're left in limbo). DON'T waste your time calling this place; after you've spent a lot of time, money and effort setting up an appointment, you'll be ignored and disappointed.

I like Pride. I've…read moreworked with a few plumbers in the Rochester area, and they might be my go-to from here on out. I appreciated how everyone I dealt with was calm, courteous, and knew their business. I spoke to Ross on the phone at first, and he was great to coordinate with, especially since we had a couple of scheduling issues. Steve was the plumber who came out to take a look at our shower issue, and he was on time, and very professional. He let me know what we were looking at price-wise, and although it was a little steeper than I expected, the work they did was good. You should know that their service call price is $49. That's on the lower end in my experience, but they don't waive it if the work is more, it's added to your bill. That said, I talked to another plumber in the area whose service call price was $250 (bananas), so it's all relative.
