Within 14 months panels and support structure began to fly away. !) They saved money and time by using only one clamp on the top and bottom header. With some wind tHe Clamps broke and solar water panels tore away. 2) They saved time by using only one fastener every 24 inches or so with many not even attached to the support. Aquamarine installed a Pentair Heat Pump to heat our pool since solar wasn't an option (due to physical obstacles and inadequate roof geometry). They ordered all equipment, installed the pad, ran the electrical service from the main panel, did all plumbing, and integrated it with our Hayward ProLogic automation panel. They even removed and reconfigured a wood fence enclosure surrounding the pool equipment to accommodate the heat pump. They also had to saw-cut a concrete walkway and drill through a concrete wall to run the electrical service... and there is no visible evidence of that work whatsoever. Peter (mostly) and Mark did a superb job for us. And the pool temp was already up to 87deg in 2 days in mid-May. It was a turn-key operation, and we are more than satisfied. Well done! read more

Wish I could give negative stars - they don't deserve anything. Reading these other 5-star reviews really makes me question the validity of them. After THREE mutually agreed upon appointment times that nobody showed up for OR called to tell me they weren't coming, Mark called and asked if someone had been out to see my spa yet. The owner of the company doesn't know? Interesting. After I told him no, he blamed it on my home warranty company. (Keep in mind that for all 3 of these appointments I was taking breaks from work to go home and lock my dogs up). Finally got an appointment scheduled for Monday with Peter. He texted saying he was 15 minutes away. I texted him back stating my spa wouldn't hold any water and that I had recently bought the home, so I didn't know anything about the spa history. No response. Tuesday, no response. Wednesday, no response. Thursday, no response. Friday, no response. Following Monday, no response. Following Tuesday, no response. Following Wednesday I had had enough and called the main number instead of Peter. Mark, the owner, was hostile from the jump. I explained the situation and that I couldn't get a response. I wasn't angry. I wasn't argumentative. I just want info on how to get the ball rolling. Mark said that he wasn't going to get into a he said/she said with me, and Peter told him that he had already talked to me and told me he couldn't assess the spa issues because there's no water in it. First - what do I have to gain by lying about talking to Peter? I'm the sole owner of this house, so there's no way he talked to someone besides me. Lying about talking to him only prolongs this whole process for me and prevents me from using my spa. Second - if I had talked to him already, why wouldn't Peter just tell me that during the 6 days I tried contacting him? Instead he chose not to respond at all. Third - Peter knew before even coming to my house that the spa was empty, as I had told him it doesn't hold water. I then asked Mark where do we go from here? If Peter was unable to assess it because there was no water in it, and was unwilling to turn on the hose that I purposely left right next to the hot tub, how do we proceed? He said I need to schedule another appointment. I said great, when can you come? Again he was so bitter and nasty and said he couldn't help me right now and that I'd need to email the office. I emailed him 5 days ago - still haven't heard back. I called my warranty company and they told me that Aquamarine Shitty Service has turned in a report stating that my spa is irreparable due to regular wear & tear. WHAT?!?! I thought you couldn't assess it because there was no water in it? For the life of me, I cannot see how this company gets any customers on their own. They have to be spoon-fed customers from whatever contracts they were lucky enough to get with home warranty companies. They should not be in any sort of customer service industry and Mark maybe needs to take a look at his mental health - it was absolutely wild the way he reacted. I am escalating this with my warranty company so they know what kind of people they have representing them. I have texts and call logs to prove everything. He gave me an assessment of my pool and some of the issues that could be fixed or improved, but did not pressure to purchase anything. One of the services he provides is sending you an email as soon as he is done with the service to let you know what he did and what the condition of your pool is, a rarity we have discovered among other pool service companies. Had an awful experience. I hired them in April to install a Pentair Heat Pump and control panel. It started off Badly when Marc wanted to argue about what Peter had included in the quote and it went downhill from there. They wanted to change the agreed upon installation date for their convenience but I was out of town and the heat pump which was delivered 3 day's earlier than they told me was in the middle of my driveway and put in my garage by a friend for security over the weekend. Peter did install the unit the next day and seemed to do a good job but told me not to turn it on until the weather warmed up. He then gave me very short orientation on using the app. I had some further questions and called Peter for 4 days in a row, left messages but never got a return call. I finely called Marc and said I had some questions. He flew off the handle, said I was rude? and never wanted to talk to me again and that I had the manual and I could figure it out myself. My pool service company helped me through the basic control issues but when the weather warmed up and I tried to start the unit, it wouldn't start and they couldn't figure it out but referred me to an Authorized Pentair Factory representative who I had to pay to check it out. He discovered the problem immediately. Peter had neglected to install one heat sensor so there was no way the unit could start. They further discovered that Peter mis wired the panel bypassing the relays, potentially causing a safety hazard. This company is unprofessional, unqualified to install Pentair Heat Pumps, and I believe Marc has some real anger management problems. read more

Our system was still using mechanical timers to run the pumps, a failing remote system to control our waterfall and lights as well as checking the thermometer in the pool for temp.
