Amazing experience at Aqua Terra on NYE. We were staying overnight before a very early SeaTac flight, so this ended up being our last meal of 2025. Because it was New Year's Eve, everyone was offered complimentary champagne called Do Epic Shit, which was actually pretty good. We ordered the crab cake, which was surprisingly spicy in a good way, the beet apple walnut salad, the filet mignon with crab, and finished with the berry cobbler and ice cream. The pacing of the meal was great and everything felt well thought out. It was definitely a lot of food, but worth it. Our server Jone made excellent recommendations and was running the floor solo, which could not have been easy. She handled it effortlessly and really elevated the experience. If you are staying at the hotel for the night, I would not bother leaving to find food. First visit, you can choose from there, bar room, dining area, or a more well lit dining area on the opposite side of the lobby, both serve the same menu. I went with the salmon for the entrée. It was good, but for $46 it should be awesome and also had a little more sustenance - the plate had some good flavors, but was sorely lacking in quantity. Service was adequate. This is the experience we had with Aqua Terra inside the Seattle Airport Marriott hotel. It is located in the hotel to the left area after entering the double doors of the entrance. Ambience is always amazing; somewhat quiet but with a bit of small chatters. For dinner we ordered Wagyu beef sliders, Brussels sprouts, Flat break pizza; all amazing, and so is the dessert lava cake with vanilla icecream. For breakfast we ordered BYO omelette, Smoked Salmon Benny w/ fruits, and Belgian Waffles. All delicious. We'd especially like to recommend the waiters; Vince and Otis G. Vince served us dinner and not only was he knowledgeable with menu items, he recommended the exact amount we needed, was attentive, friendly and courteous until even when the restaurant was about to close. Otis served us breakfast the next morning; he was also friendly, attentive and recommended the perfect menu items for us to enjoy. It is rare that a restaurant has both amazing food plus outstanding services; and this one definitely earned our hearts. Because of the amazing services by Vince & Otis, plus the amazing food items, we will continue to return to Aqua Terra as well as the Seattle Airport Marriott hotel. Money well spent. Loved that I could order a late dinner after my plane landed and had a fresh, well made burger and fries in 10 minutes and near their closing time. Thank you so so much. The last thing I wanted to do was deal with finding a decent place open late and did not want fast food. Took a cheesecake to go so they could close up shop as there was only 1 other table dining and a couple guys at the bar when I left. I would say, overall, I'd give this a 3.5 stars but I wanted to round up. I stopped in here as I was picking up some people from SeaTac and they were hungry when they landed. The prices are pretty reasonable and the portions are quite large for plated dishes. If you get the buffet, you have more control over what you can and cannot help yourself with. There is validated parking, which is always a plus, and I found the ambiance to be quite calm and relaxed, especially around the holiday season. I had the smaller buffet option which was cold food + oats and it was just perfect for me. Everything was fresh and there was good variety, though it is on the smaller side for a buffet. Returned from trip to SeaTac Airport and stopped in for a meal while waiting for freeway rush hour traffic to subside. This hidden away Seatac restaurant is was a nice experience. Located in the Seattle Airport Marriott with a lounge bar next to the lobby Ordered a Burger and side salad, and their Woodford Old Fashion. The waiter Phillip was really professional. Place was quiet and relaxing. Interesting wood structure throughout the interior of the Hotel despite its not so interesting exterior. Other staff were great. The hamburger was fantastic!! With the Old Fashion, the flavors of both come together harmoniously. Would recommend a visit if you need a place to chill before heading to where ever you may be going to or from the airport. read more

This was almost the perfect cap of to my "stay" in Seattle. I decided to dine at the hotel vice at the airport prior to my flight. It took a few minutes for them to seat me and begin service,but once they did it, was seamless. I had the calimari and it was delicious. I wanted a bit more food but not a full entree, so I got the Caesar salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection, but lacked flavor and had 3 bones. Overall a great meal and awesome service. I usual stick to the Marriott brand and their restaurants and I was not disappointed. read more

The food is mediocre and everything else about this place is awful. They're WAY understaffed, but at the point where your restaurant literally has only one waiter, you close. You don't leave tables waiting literally two hours between ordering and receiving their luke-warm food. When your chairs are cracked and broken vinyl, you replace them, you don't just put cheap polyester covers over them. And if you're going to charge prices that are ridiculously high even for an airport hotel, maybe have food that's better than mediocre. read more

This review is for the main bar located in the lobby area of the Marriott. I travel to Seattle quite frequently, and stay at the Marriott property almost exclusively. Although I always receive good service from ALL of the bartenders at this location, Keegan definitely stands out for his superb service, time and time again. I've seen the same homeless man come into the bar area for the past four days when I've been eating. He grabs a glass of water and is not disruptive to any guests that I've seen. Keegan treats the man with compassion and provides the same respect to him as the most well-dressed and blessed of all the hotel guests. Let's all call the Sea-Tac Marriott and tell them Keegan needs a pay raise (at the minimum,) or better yet, a management position! read more

I ordered the calamari and the crab chowder. save yourself the disappointment. the calamari came out as scraps and also happens to be served with black olives and peppers which is not stated on the menu. the crab chowder was okay. it was served as a scoop of crab meat (which was cold) on top of chowder. read more

Just had the Kobe Burger. Really the best burger I've had in a long time. Size-able and cooked exactly the way I asked for it...medium. Had no pink and was incredibly juicy. Cheese was a notable flavor in the construction. Overall a good texture combination with the toasted bun and perfectly cooked bacon. Sweet potato fries were crispy, hot, and quite tasty. Pumpkin soup, per the wife, was enjoyable and fresh. Market salad was a healthy amount of crisp greens without an overpowering dressing. Added some grilled chicken that was also appropriately grilled, not dry, and flavorful. Tatyana was a great server...just the right amount of attention and very pleasant. Would eat here again. This is the restaurant located in the Marriott Seattle Airport. I was staying overnight on Sunday, and didn't want to leave the premises for dinner. I arrived around 6:00 pm and there was already a decent crowd in the dining room. There was a patron ahead of me at the host stand, and so we waited what seemed like a long while before anyone showed up to greet us. It looked like the restaurant was short on staff. My guess is the wait was about 5 minutes (but not more than 10). I opted to sit in the dining room instead of the upfront bar area (which had TVs). My waiter was nice enough but it seemed he wasn't quite ready yet to start his shift (it took a little for me to get greeted and brought water). I had the crab chowder (a nice healthy portion for only $9) and the pan seared halibut. The halibut was good and was served on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with an arugula salad. Overall a good choice. I finished off with some dessert, which was three scoops of Hagen Daaz chocolate ice cream. I would definitely eat here out of convenience. The food was good and service okay. I would not necessarily make a trip here if I was not staying at the hotel. Parking is free for up to three hours of dining in the restaurant. Otherwise there is a parking fee. read more

This is our groups 4th year for Thanksgiving Buffet. We are seniors so we get good value price and we do not eat a lot, but a little of all the choices. My favorites are always the salmon, this year the roasted peppered salmon, two kinds of cold smoked were excellent. Of course the turkey (thigh meat is so moist and flavorful) and roasted beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, the traditionals etc. This year we missed sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts and we hope they would do the room of dessert again or at least more chocolate choices. Please forget the carrots and green beans. Chef Neighbor was not there but the food quality was still good. Valori and James were glad to see us and Peggy our server and her coworkers kept the sparkling cava coming. Starting planning next year because we plan on being back. read more

Shared all three between the two of us and we were extremely pleased with the quality and flavors. Highly recommend. I feel like I'm pretty stingy with giving 5-star reviews, but this place earned it! The first night of my 4-night stay at the Seattle Airport Marriott, I ventured down to the hotel's Aqua Terra restaurant with a powerful craving for a good steak dinner. What I got was so perfectly cooked and so delicious that I returned 2 nights later for the exact same meal. They nailed it - twice! Food: I ordered the NY Strip steak, medium rare. It came with a loaded baked potato (all the load items on the side), and broccoli rabe. The steak was perfectly cooked from one tip to the other - beautifully grill marked with a slight char outside, perfectly medium rare inside! Likewise, the potato was equally perfectly prepared. There was a small side of gravy that deserves its own paragraph of praise! It looked to be your typical brown gravy - until I tasted it. It was dark and rich and had a strikingly wonderful floral hint of flavor. I thought maybe there was something like lavender in it. I inquired about it and one of the chefs came to my table and explained in great detail how the gravy is made. The chef coming to answer my question impressed me! There was no lavender in the gravy. The only thing I can think of is that whatever red wine they used in the reduction must have had some kind of floral bouquet. Whatever... it was the most outstanding gravy I've ever tasted. When I returned 2 night later, I ordered the exact same meal. Would it be just as good or was this some kind of fluke? I mean, it is a hotel restaurant, after all... To my glee, the meal was in every way as good as it was the first time. The steak was cooked to perfection yet again. This time I enjoyed a glass of their H3 cab/sauv with it. And I was treated to a complimentary dish of raspberry sorbet afterward. Heaven. Service: My waiter, Vince, provided the caliber of service one sees on TV but rarely experiences. He was wonderfully knowledgeable, attentive, accommodating, and well... wonderful! I really can't praise their staff enough. If you are ever at the Marriott Hotel - Seattle Airport, and you have a hankerin' for a great steak dinner - eat at the Aqua Terra. You will be happy you did! read more

First the place really looks nice, clean, with good and relaxing ambiance. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. However the service was long considering there were very few customers. Actually I think only 2 or 3 table, including ours, were filled. Anyway I ordered the bouillabaisse because I wanted something light and I wanted to stick to my diet. It was counterproductive because the dish just had 3 pieces of clams, a very small cut of salmon and a tiny cut of halibut plus some shrimps scattered. I ended up being so hungry still that I devoured the bread they serve. The dish also had sourdough soaked into it. I was just hungry that I ended up eating those overly soaked bread. The dish was just okay at best. The broth had a nice onion and garlic flavor to it, but that's the best thing I can say. For the price, get something else. My gf ordered the pan seared halibut. It was actually good. I like the crust although the fillet was a little overdone and dry. The mash potato was smooth, rich, silky and flavorful. I usually do not eat mash potato but I ended up liking the one in this dish. Oh I forgot to mention how unsatisfied I was with my bouillabaisse that I finished the leftover from my gf's plate haha. Conveniently located in the SeaTac Marriott, the restaurant may be expensive, but the food was really good with good size portions, it was clean and the staff was really nice and attentive. The breakfast offers a buffet where drinks are included. If you are getting more than a bagel and water, it would be advantageous to choose the buffet for $21, because a drink, by itself, is $4. We had the opportunity to eat lunch and dinners there, as well. We preferred to dine here over the Marriott's bar section of the hotel. There were more choices and service was much better. Don't expect to use your internet on your phone or computer, though. Service drops to practically nothing as soon as you are in the seated area. read more
