Christopher Craft Cosmetic Surgery - During procedure

If I could rate my experience 10 stars I would. Everything about this office exceeded my…read moreexpectations. I finally decided I wanted to get a breast augmentation in November 2023. I had contemplated getting it for so long because I was flat-chested. I lost a lot of weight the previous year so getting a breast augmentation was the cherry on top for my confidence. I also wanted to get minor liposuction on my stomach. I had a pocket of stubborn fat underneath my belly button that would not go away no matter how many sit-ups I did. I called to set up my consultation and dealt with Lucy. She was so nice and made me so happy. I remember getting off the phone and smiling because I was so excited about my consultation. Consultation: The following Tuesday I arrived at my consultation. I was so nervous but the entire staff made me feel comfortable and they were so welcoming. I changed into the gown and Dr. Craft came in with a sweet nurse! I didn't get her name but she has always been so sweet! He spent a lot of time with me! He went over everything, answered all my questions, gave his advice, and listened to what I WANTED. He was so informative and I knew that I wanted to start the process. I want to say I was almost there for an hour. Weighing my options, listening to the pros and cons, and asking questions. I'm so thankful for the consultation because I left very confident and firm on my decision. I ended up picking 415 cc of silicone, high profile. I wanted to be a full C or D cup so this was my best option. Blood work: I came back a few weeks later where I met Cybil! The most amazing person in the world! Gosh, I love that girl! She took my blood and informed me about everything! What to do, what not to do, and everything I needed to do before my surgery. I got a really big packet of paper but left knowing everything that was in that packet. They took before pics, measured me, and answered any questions. During this time I was put in contact with Marilyn who is great! She gave me her phone number and during this entire process, I asked any questions that came to mind. She has always been so sweet and helpful! Procedure: I was extremely nervous since I had never gone under anesthesia before. My surgery was scheduled for 10 am so I followed all the instructions the night before. The anesthesiologist called me the night before asking if I had any questions which made me feel a lot better. When I arrived I got put into the room and got changed into the gown. The recovery nurse April came in and talked me through everything and gave me an anti-nausea pill. She is just the best! I remember her telling me about her son; she was so sweet! She said most people don't remember her much since they get knocked out but how could I forget such a sweet lady! Dr. Craft came in and went over the game plan with me. He marked me up and made sure we were on the same page. I went into surgery 100% confident and excited. I wasn't nervous at all. Everyone was so nice and explained what they were doing to me. I knew I was about to knock out when the lights were swaying back and forth and I was 100% calm. I woke up and April was there, she brought my fiance in and I went hope. Later that night Dr. Craft called me and we talked. He explained to me how the procedure went and told me instructions for going forward. This meant a lot to me and just made me so happy that I picked him to do my surgery. Recovery: As I'm writing this I'm about 6 weeks post op. I have followed their instructions religiously and have worn my fajas 23.5/24 hours a day. The follow-up appointments have been great and the support has been so great. I did lymphatic massages with Janet and she was great!! Since I only got a little bit of lipo I only had to do 4 sessions but it helped reduce the swelling so much. Worth every penny. She was great and I enjoyed getting to know her. Everyone in this office is amazing and I'm so thankful and blessed to have gained the amazing care of the staff and developed many friendships. I seriously wish I worked here so I could hang out with them every day!! Thank you all so much. P.S I LOVE MY RESULTS! They're exactly what I wanted.

I had one Coordinater with me throughout the whole time and she was awesome. I think her name was Vanessa, but I'm not sure or Amanda maybe lol however then another Coordinater called me and then another Coordinater called me and the only problem with that was they don't talk amongst each other however, the coordinator that I had she was great and unfortunately, I didn't get to do my Plastic surgery because they're very vigilant about your health and they found something in my EKG, which set alarm for my regular doctor to help me see a cardiologist and found out that my heart probably wouldn't make it through surgery so I give them a Maybe because working with an out of state. I'm in California. They're in Miami, is hard enough. It appears that they do great work and I give them 10 stars for making sure that I was healthy enough to go through surgery and come to find out I wasn't but when I'm up and running, I will have my surgery done by then I trust them now and you should too thank you Vixen Plastic surgery for making sure my quality of life was recognized and it was recognized by Dr. Triggs so thank you. I will see you guys soon.

The office is suspect and the way they handle care and money is considered dirty…read more My procedure was canceled the day before operation after I flew in and made all arrangements and prepared to pay through -- cash, credit and financial (CareCredit). Dr. Valladares decided not to operate because of my kidney levels I suppose were below comfort of recovery -- yes I was disappointed since all my labs were complete a month prior and a week prior before arriving and taking time off. But that's not the worst part. They took $200 cash for "prescriptions" in the office without a form of receipt and I asked about it and they said I'd receive the prescriptions day of surgery but I never received the procedure. Originally they said 3,700 but since I needed to use Care Credit they changed the price to 4,800 and charged Care Credit and my credit card the day before surgery even though the surgery never happened. I called about the refund and I was told to call Care credit and dispute the transaction. Really? That's how they handle refunds. I was supposed to call the finance company and claim I never had the procedure and they were supposed to believe me. Well I did that and filed a dispute. I called Vixen for refund on my credit card and the cash I paid for prescriptions and I have not been able to reach them since. I researched to see if this is normal practice and no! This is highly suspicious, and I should have not been charged till after the procedure. This has been so stressful, so hard on me financially and emotionally. I will continue to reach out, so whatever it takes to get my money back and let others know of how this was handled. Another lady had used Vixen as well with a different surgeon. She is convinced she is "botched" and they have "ghost surgeons" practicing along with the expected surgeon. The girls in my recovery home have been unwell, multiple ambulance services and blood transfusions. They regret the whole procedure. I feel protected that I did not go through with the BBL but financially and my credit is taking a hit for something that never took place. C. Splettstoesser

Doctor: Dr. Haas, Thomas (The best -at least at Breast Aug-)…read more Procedure: Breast Augmentation Saline under the muscle Height: 5'8 Weight: 129 (the day of surgery) My procedure is and was probably the easiest one so I feel for those who are getting BBLs, etc... This is my experience only! I can not even believe most reviews on here as for my experience this place should AT LEAST have 4.5 stars. But I am not invalidating those really bad reviews, I just couldn't, nor can't relate my experience was soo good I'm writing this 5 hours after I came back home. (Also this is my first surgery so I am ignorant to better experiences... This is the only one known to me thus far, and it was very very good.) STEP 1 - BOOKING: Was very easy, my procedure was $2,500 + the surgical bra which was $55. In total: $2,555.00 . To secure my booking I had to pay $255.50 and as of for me since the day I payed the booking fee -- Mia Aesthetics staff would call me every Monday to check up on my LAB work and clearance... There was definitely pressure but like when people are strict and are serious about their job it shows and I like it!!. STEP 2 - LAB WORK/Clearance: Mia Aesthetics staff were very patient with me and continuously gave me more time to submit LAB WORK/clearance. I am a very busy girl and could barely make it to most appointments but everything worked out perfectly and smooth. 10/10 LAB WORK/Clearance experience (Note: if you have insurance you'll pay $4.99 for all this paper work to be done, which is amazing!) +Bonus - DRUG USE/NICOTINE: Marijuana doesn't matter, at least not that much as it is the only drug not subject for cancellation. I still did quit: Alcohol, marijuana and nicotine use 2 months before my surgery... However if your job demands you to go outside to get water for yourself, food supplies etc... Then you know how hard it is to (not) find someone sparking up a cigarette or vaping everywhere you go. I would wear masks, take long paths JUST to not get second hand smoke, and required my husband, my sister and anyone around me to smoke outside of my house (not just outside my room) and wash their hands afterwards. STEP 3 - PREOP: Amazing pre-op experience! Took less then 30 minutes and I went by myself, all good They'll ask you to sign papers of approval, then direct you to a room where they'll: check you BMI, check your weight/height, ask you how long ago you quit any substances and will be taking your before pictures! STEP 4 - SURGERY DAY: (Note: I coudn't eat or drink anything for 8 hours before the surgery which was the hardest part as I am addicted to drinking water every second... They did provide Gatorade after waking up.) I came in and they asked me to sign some more papers, my surgery was scheduled for 6AM but I was asked to come in at 5AM. I live here in Miami so the commute was splendid. So yeah they asked me to sign some papers, in less than 10 minutes things got REAL... they directed me to a room where they tested me for nicotine, drugs and other things... (Which by the way they'll only test you for nicotine if you have complications if not they won't... If I knew that I would've saved myself the dirty looks of people when I held my breath around them just because they were smoking and I was scared my test was gonna come up positive because of second hand smoke)... Anyways the medical assistant was nice she was very helpful and accommodating, gave me the princess treatment and then the doctor came we discussed sizes and medications... Then the anesthesiologist came by and we talked about if I had any allergies, etc. I wanted to hug her afterwards 'cause she is truly amazing (I can't really remember names, I can barely remember my family bdays) but she was brunette AND also I was so so cold due to the anesthesia so I wasn't gonna do all of that just to hug her, but she was that great and motherly that I was hurting from my breasts and I was still thinking "omg give me a hug you're so nice" SHE WILL HAVE YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES AND OPEN THEN BOOM... Big boobs! ... They then carried me through the back and my sister was ready to pick me up (I came out at 8AM... They whole process probably took 2 hours. To come: STEP 5 - POSTOP: I am having my pre-op tomorrow at 9AM then on Monday at the same time so this review isn't done yet! Hope to bring more great comments about Mia and Dr. Haas into this review. THANKS TO MIA AESTHETICS FOR BRINGING MY DREAM SINCE I WAS A 14 year old girl COME TRUE!!! I went into this…read moreprocedure requesting 400cc breast implants, but after surgery, I immediately noticed my results were much smaller than expected. When I reviewed my implant card, it showed 295cc. When I asked Dr. Poser about this, I was told that based on my body type, a smaller size would achieve the look I wanted. While I understand that surgeons use their professional judgment, the final result does not align with what I requested, and I wish there had been clearer communication and agreement prior to surgery. My post-op experience was also frustrating. After following all aftercare instructions, I noticed one of my incisions had opened. I reached out right away with photos and a phone call, but it took about a week to get a response. I was told to use Polysporin, but the wound seemed to worsen. I sent additional photos and updates but experienced a much longer delay in hearing back. Out of concern, I went to the ER where tests confirmed there was no infection, but I still had an open wound. I eventually went to a post-op specialist I've trusted from previous procedures, and with their guidance, the wound began to improve within days. Overall, the lack of timely communication and follow-up care made this experience much more stressful than it should have been. While I respect the medical aspect of the procedure, I do regret choosing this provider due to the outcome and the level of post-operative support.

I locked in my surgery. Yes everything was going good. Surgery went well. Or so I thought. The madness started soon after. To put in simple terms. I had an arm lift, an upper back lift and a crescent thigh lift. This crescent thigh lift is where the incision is in the groin and not down the leg. I went back for 2 postop . Still so sore and swollen. I flew home the day of 2nd postop. That day I gave the staff a form from my job for the doctor to sign. FMLA do not cover that type of surgery. I guess only if it was extreme weight loss. They gave me a letter stating they don't outside forms. They said give it to my employer and if they have questions to call them. News flash. It was not accepted by my employer. I work with the state. They refused to let me back on schedule with the letter. I called and begged the doctor's staff to sign the form with no luck. The staff told me they won't be able to respond to me till Monday. This was on a Friday. Now mind you. Before I paid for the surgery. They would email me even on a Saturday. Anyways I got my own doctor to get me back to work. I had a 3rd virtual post op when I came home. Now the swelling was down . I pointed that out to Dr Ziyad . He mentioned we will eventually talk about a revision for my thighs. I was told to send my 1 month updated photos. The incisions on my thighs are so uneven. You can clearly see it over my panty line. The incision my arm is also uneven. I am so upset and frustrated. After being $surgery + airfare + recovery home in a minus. I've sent the photos since last week. Sent another email on Monday. Asking them how would we proceed to have a revision, I have been calling. No response either way. I am so disappointed in Dr Ziyad and Sunset plastic surgery. This was the worst decision I've made and the worst experience I've had after surgery. I'm simply sharing my horror story with this doc and his staff. Is this how you treat you patients????

We were then told we had 45 minutes to choose from 2 other doctors that we never heard of before or cancel the surgery and get a refund. After talking to my wife for a few minutes we decided to cancel the surgery and asked for a refund . We were then escorted back up front and were simply handed a piece of paper ( sticky note ) that only had an email address and we were told we would have to email them for a refund, when I began to ask questions and complain about this they acted like they didn't speak English anymore . My wife then began to search for Dr Loessin on google and found him in Miami Lakes at another company called Harmony Cosmetics, my wife then called there office and made a same day appointment with Dr Loessin. When we arrived and explained our situation to Dr Loessin in person he agreed to perform my wife's surgery the next day . Dr Loessin also explained that he had left CG COSMETICS 3 weeks prior due to reasons that he could not disclose. We then went back to our hotel and emailed CG for a refund since they had lied to us about the doctor resigning that morning and tried to pressure us into having another Dr who we didn't know , perform the surgery, be advised at this time they were in breach of contract as the agreed upon Doctor had left 3 weeks prior and could have told us about it , giving us plenty of time to research another doctor . We also explained that they were going to file complaints with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Florida Board of Medicine as well as file fraud charges with our credit card company . Now CG did respond saying sorry and that they would look into our refund within 30 business days , it has been almost 2 months now and haven't heard anything from them despite several emails demanding our money back due to a breach of contract. These people in my opinion have committed fraud and need to be held accountable! If anyone reads this please reconsider using CG Cosmetics, this has been the worst experience we have ever been through. They are unprofessional and have no morals or integrity. We are still out of pocket thousands of dollars on hotel and airfare that could not be refunded because of CG's deceptive practices. If CG Cosmetics does not issue a full refund due to breach of contract the credit card company assures us that they will take legal action .
