It is now the end of July and we haven't been able to use the pool for the past month. Initially they would show up from time to time but recently they stopped showing up and have not been returning phone calls. Foolishly, we never asked for any receipts and all checks were made out to cash. He involved his wife and daughter, for heaven's sake , in his scheming. Here's an important warning to everyone! Be on the lookout for this SCAM ARTIST couple! WILMER F SANTAMARIA Aka WILLIE HIS WIFE: KIM SANTANARIA Aka Klm Damato aka KIM TRAUB from AQUA BRIGHT POOLS! We contracted them to do some work in our back yard-pool liner, reset stone, concrete etc, got a contract signed & we paid a huge cash down payment to them on 6/5/20. Work was supposed to start on 6/8, never got started until 6/11 and only 1/2 days worth of work was done at that. The following week another days worth of work was done. And within the total of 1 days work completed additional damages to my home were made. They busted a pipe in my pool and damaged the skimmer when digging, and the gravel that they brought and dumped against my home enabled water to seep into my home and damage my carpeting and subfloor in my pool house. Long story short, during that time he & his wife started shaking us down for more money even though the contract said 3 payments 33% before start of work 33% upon 1/2 completion & final 33% at completion. They said the pool liner & materials were already purchased & in their possession & will be dropped off to us...never did! So needless to say nothing has been done for almost 2 weeks-they came on 6/18 to threaten us & shake us down for the next 33%, cops had to be called, report filed-he skipped out with several thousand dollars! In addition, he has no license or insurance & has only undocumented people working like slaves for them! I will do everything I can to stop these two from doing this to another undeserving family! I have a 30' X 15' oval above ground pool. I had this company replace my liner after we flooded with hurricane Ida. While completing the installation the workers knocked my music speaker off my deck. Not only did they break the speaker, the workers never told me it fell. The owner never showed up during the install. They also didn't pack down the sand correctly and the bottom of the pool is not smooth. This was all done in June. The owner promised he would replace the speaker. That never happened. We had an appointment for the owner to come and look at the pool to see what can be done to smooth the bottom. When I called him to confirm the appointment he said he couldn't make it and we would have to reschedule. I am covering my pool this weekend and have not had the pool even looked at. The speaker has never been replaced. Worst contractor I ever used for anything. read more

This is not a business. Two people are involved. Willie and Kim (husband and wife I was told). My daughter brought them to open my pool in early June. Suffice to say, the pool is still not usable. I foolishly gave them a deposit to power wash the deck and paint it. Since Kim claimed that Willie was also a handyman I also gave them a deposit to reattach a gutter with had been damaged by a detached branch. After multiple attempts at communicating with them the power wash and gutter attachment was done. My pool is a mess and i'm bringing in a service to take care of it. They have refused to refund my deposit and are claiming that I actually owe them money. I've hired a lawyer to take care of it and will be contemplating the BBB to see if I can prevent this from happening to anyone else. These are con artists pool as a pool and handyman service. No idea why you even allow them to be associated with your site. You need to have the option of a zero star rating since that's what you have with this service. read more
