We are just finishing up having an in ground pool put in with Aqua Blue Pools located in Taylor's near Greenville. They did an awesome job! Their pool designer, Scott Schlock, sat down with us in the beginning of our journey... showing us every model of pool they make and the materials we could use in our own design of pool. We had never designed our own pool before, but with Scott's help we chose a Greek style pool with wide steps leading down into the water. Scott stayed with us for every major development with the pool and let us know what to expect next. He was a huge help! The whole process took around 4 months and we were able to watch every step as the pool took form from our sunroom. The crews that dug out the pool, laid the pool foundation, and the cement around the pool were organized and moved quickly, they worked tirelessly in the heat. The entire company works together like a well oiled machine. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this pool company. Aqua Blue Pools gave us an amazingly beautiful pool and it was finished to swim in two weeks earlier than has been predicted. We are very happy! read more

Do not recommend! The other reviews are correct, once they have most of you money they are unrepsonsive and rude. More and more and more issues through time and now at a 18 months out, after over 75k they want $350 to decide if the salt cell is bad. Oh and a 4 week wait. They promise things to sell you and then they nickel and time you at the end. The ladder was more money, the caps for the ladder holes that we didn't want were more money. They accidentally plumbed an auto vacuum plug and when we asked about the cost to add the actual vacuum since we now had the hole they undid the plumbing and re-did it to make sure we didn't have the option any more "because we hadn't paid for it". But for $2500 they can re-do the plumbing AND THEN buy a vacuum. Seriously, something with a warranty you want me to pay you to evaluate. No. Go with someone, anyone else. Go with your own shovel or a kiddie pool from the dollar store. read more

Horrible company that steals from homeowners like us . We were stuck with a contract that we all agreed to And AQBlue failed to complete the items. They took 30-40k and said sue them. We welcome anyone to come by our property and review any of the paperwork lawyers said it's not worth fighting them because it would take 75 k Dollars to recover the $30-$40,000. The problem is, we can't get insurance on the pool because they won't bring it up to code. Their designers have very poor software, and it contradicts itself and adds dangerous items that the state will not allow In certain areas of the pool. read more

We paid $50k for our pool which was installed in 2021. when we opened the pool in the spring of 2025 the water level was at the bottom step. I thought perhaps it was evaporation and that I needed to keep a better watch on it because although this was not our first pool, it was brand new and surely would not be leaking. Well it was leaking and is still leaking! My husband went to Aqua Blue and they would not help us or even entertain the thought that their work was the problem. Now come spring we will have to hire someone to find and fix the leak that my husband suspects is due to faulty pipes which of course are underground. We are disgusted with this company's lack of responsibility and failure to remedy the problem. read more

We had a leak from the main equipment in our service yard that was noticed by our pool maintenance guy Cliff. He reported it to the office and their specialist Cody not only repaired it but moved lines and equipment around to create more efficiency. I paid cash for this pool from Aqua Blue and have spent three years in Hell for it. Three years is when the warranty runs out. I have experienced every problem one could. Three Pentair motors failed. A third they refuse to accept as failed. Their representative never showed up to see it. It whines terribly. Right from the beginning our pool deck has developed a crack 40' long across 4 sections. They tell me cracks are normal. Forty foot long? I have spent thousands having them refinished. The fix included fiberglass bands to hold it together. It continues to crack. Cracked right now. This is believed to be due to the poor preparation of the ground below it or cement. Aqua Blue does not care. I also have the grout around my pool repaired twice by them. My pool pump return line cracked and leaked. My pool liner already replaced - you believe that? The most unbelievable thing is when they installed - they piled red dirt 3-4 feet up againt my house and white fence. Also all on my neighbors yard. They damaged my fence. They left oil stains on the street in front of my house. Their Service Manger had the audacity to tell me to call the pump supplier directly to deal with the pump problems instead of Aqua Blue, whom we bought it from. I could go on and on listing the nightmare we have been through. This company is not recommended under any circumstances? I have pictures to come on review update. Reply to Aqua Blue Owner: First off, I did not have a private contractor install my 40' wide concrete deck - AQUA BLUE did! A 40' crack immediately was the result. Shame on you trying to misdirect the public! Second - the water leaking sound was determined by your technician (on video with audio) to be bad bearings. This you did replace two different motors (1 main pump and 1 booster for cleaning) after argument and presentation of the video. The current motor has a loud obnoxious whine that you refuse to replace and cannot after months get a rep to look at. Third - and everyone hear this clearly out there! I was sold by your Salesman (which my wife and I took at his word) a pool installation with a three (3) year complete warranty!!! The entire system included. Motors included. So no advocating on my behalf needed. You obviously agreed with that based on all the repairs you have needed to do over these 3 years. You set that precedent. Three years would be on 1/30/2025. Aqua Blue has only 3 stars on yelp and it's no wonder! I am sure Google will get there too. I 100% do NOT recommend Aqua Blue Pools! False replies did not help. Regarding your current pump motor, our technicians conducted a thorough inspection and confirmed it is operating normally and within the manufacturer's specifications. The noise you mentioned, which you indicated "sounded like a potential leak", was determined to be the standard operational noise of a swimming pool pump. Additionally, there was no evidence of water loss to suggest a leak. Since the pump was functioning as designed, the manufacturer did not authorize another replacement. All great until you pay them the 2nd payment (50%), then it goes down hill. The woman in customer service has the worst attitude, she gets off on making you feel stupid. Paid $1000 for the yearly maintenance package...absolute joke. They don't clean your pool, they wave around a brush and add chemicals that they then charge you 100% markup on. Finally when they closed the pool and installed the cover they didn't leave the pool cover bag. Called them to find out what where it was and the rude lady in customer service again denied that they had it and it was left there on premises. Opened my pool today with a local business and I will never again do business with Aqua Blue and make sure that anyone who asks, knows about this experience. read more

We have been with Aqua Blue for 20 + years. This year we agreed to a "maintenance" deal. For $600 you get 3 visits a year. If they add chemicals, that is extra. EVERYtime they have come something is always found. Last time we were told that we needed a new filter or pump, that ours was like cheesecloth, wouldn't hold up. This is immediately after we paid $250 to have an O-ring installed. An O-ring. Then we were told the next job would be 3,000. After a month of the filter leaking and us having to add water to the pool...we got wise and contacted Pool Boys. They came out, fixed it in 15 minutes and would not charge us for that. You can imagine that they will get a 10 star review!!! read more

They lie to your face and don't deliver on any of their promises. went In to the showroom in early October to choose a pool design and ended up signing a contract to have them build a pool for us. While there we spoke to the hot tub sales manager, Chelsey, about a hot tub to go with the pool. She told my wife and I that she didn't have any in stock but they had 20 being delivered on November 9th. Of the 20, one tub had not been sold yet but "another guy was putting a deposit on it later that day but if we bought it right now we could have it." we should have recognized the used car salesman tactic and walked but we trusted her. mistake!! November 9th rolls around and we checked to see if the hot tub had arrived on the truck. Chelsey now states "I never promised you it would be here today". Both my wife and I heard her say it very clearly and based our decision to buy it on her promised delivery date. She goes on to say that she told us the tub was being BUILT on November 9th and it would be 2-3 weeks (early December) for delivery here. We check with her again in December and Chelsey now says "I never said it would be delivered in December, I said January" January comes and same story " I never promised anyone when a tub will be delivered, they come when they come." Needless to say this shady treatment made us question Aquablue's ability to do our pool. chelsey lied so many times that we decided to cancel the pool contract with Aquablue and go with another pool builder. Just can't trust a company with a $100k pool when they lie to us about a $10k hot tub!! And to rub salt in the wound, back when we ordered the tub we stated we didn't want the free steps that go with the tub as we wanted to build rock steps instead. When we finally got the tub in February (3 months late) we told the aquablue installer we needed the steps and he said no problem, "they are free and come with the tub. I will get one and deliver it out to you next week." today I call about the steps and, being nice, said I can swing by and pick them up to save them a trip. Chelsey gets on the phone and said that the steps WERE free when we paid for the tub but now she is going to charge us $100 for the "free steps"!!! I told her the installer said they are free and they come with all their tubs, Chelsey says "No, he doesn't know what he's talking about" long story to say that Aquablue is the most shady company in town. Chelsey says what ever lies she needs to to get the sale and then afterwards claims she never made any of those promises. Then she lies to screw you out of even more money. Even in COVID after a long wait for our pool they were professional. So far so good. We've had it 2 months and we love our pool.

Absolute nightmare to deal with. Customer service and communication are nonexistent. No straight answers on when they can deliver my hot tub(it's in stock) no clear directions about what the hot tub requires for their "site inspection", they refuse to make an appointment to deliver it without said inspection, could not provide schematics for the tub when I requested. They won't run the electrical but take issue with what my electrician did. Now I find out that the patio I had put in to accommodate the tub is not acceptable after they gave zero guidance on what they wanted, and I have to pay to have it undone! They are patronizing, rude and disrespectful; I stop shy of sexist but it certainly gives car dealership down talking vibes. They have taken my money and given me nothing but run around and no communication for weeks. Now when I try and get this done they want me to undo work put in. Never doing business with them again. We purchased a hot tub on Thursday 4/7/22, and they had it delivered and set up by Monday at noon 4/11/22. Another reputable company (who sells hot tubs) wasn't guaranteeing delivery until September. Wow! Everything was great with purchasing and delivery. Happy customers!! read more

Aqua Blue built our pool in 2016 and did a great job. Very happy with it. Had them provide pool maintenance services after that and they always did a great job. Then, something happened in 2020. They did pool closing including chemicals to prevent algae growth over the winter. This spring the pool was green with algae. I paid a flat fee for pool opening. When the Aqua Blue technicians showed up they said they would put chemicals in the water to kill the algae and be back in 2 days to clean the pool and filter. No one showed up for 6 days, supposedly cleaned the pool and failed to clean the filter. I contacted Aqua Blue and sent a video of the algae, leaves and sticks on the bottom of the pool after it was "supposedly" cleaned. No response and no refund. I ended up having to clean the pool and filter my self. Still no refund. Terrible service. Terrible (no) communication. read more

These guys built a beautiful pool, and I knew they would. We will enjoy it for years to come. The construction process, however, needs some serious help - worse than building a house. I found the project manager to be very pushy and upset when I didn't agree to do things his way, meaning, accept all responsibility for any damage they cause. He was often argumentative, often whining about what's in the contract that I signed, yada yada. Concrete trucks showed up in the rain, after it had been raining steady for a week. My wife looked at me and said "Surely, they aren't going to pour today, are they?" Of course, the concrete truck got stuck, and they said I was responsible if the concrete goes bad. Then, they wanted to come on my driveway to pour and not use the access route we discussed on 3 different occasions, and which was specified in the contract... and I must accept any damage to my driveway. Seriously? Most often, we didn't know when they were coming, except when they rang the doorbell at 7:30am on a Saturday, waking everyone in the house, asking me to move my cars out of the driveway so they could pour the concrete deck. The project manager never called or texted me to tell me they were coming. I was, however, glad to finally have them show up. We did have lots of rain, which messed-up the schedule, but they missed several sunny day opportunities to pour concrete when they could have. The crews were polite, professional, and good workers. Let me reiterate: we love the high quality, beautiful pool, and the crews were great. I just wouldn't recommend the stressful project to anyone, would not recommend this company, or our project manager, specifically. read more
