WARNING BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!! After paying for services for 5 months they then decided to tell me the chemical that was covered under my contract wouldn't do anything about the type of problem I have! I called for a roach problem brought here by someone we left stay here for a little as soon as I saw the roaches in his room I called immediately, very upset about my situation and was told of if I paid this much...it would be taken care of no problem. NEVER ONCE told me there was "different breeds" and higher rates for certain roaches (German) then after paying them 5 months, they tell me what I've been paying for isn't gonna do anything for German roaches, they thought they were "american" and I needed to pay more or it was pointless to have them come! I called and explained why I felt scammed and all they could say is, you still need to pay us..what they're doing to people isn't right! I said I wouldn't pay anything more to them and was told they will send it to collections l!!! They're horrible people please save yourself a headache and go elsewhere read more

The better business bureau revoked this companies compliance. Read the reviews on yelp, Reddit, and BBB. This company is a JOKE with their constant door to door sales pitches at all hours of the day, several times a day. I will NEVER do business with any company that knocks on my door before I do my own research, yet they don't get the hint. Glad I did my research before considering this group of frauds. read more

They did nothing what they said they would so during their appointment. They promised a detailed report afterwards yet I never got anything any of the times. They did not clean spider webs, nests, etc. I'm not sure if they did anything besides walk around my property. They also sat outside my house multiple times a day waiting for me to leave so they can talk to me. I told them one day for an appointment yet they decided to do it another day. When I did not answer because I was busy, that's when they sat outside the house. It's all a scam. read more

This company is close to a scam. The technician they sent was pleasant. But he actually did very little. And his environmental understandings are close to zero. We need pollinators. They are not pests. But the customer service and billing is worse. I can't tell if it is incompetence or evil, but mistakes they make are for their benefit. A ploy they use is claim a payment was not received. When you send them a copy of the cancelled check it can take them a couple of months to fix the problem. But then the problem repeats with the next payment. To get out of a service agreement and cancel the service costs about $400. It is almost as if they want you to cancel so they can collect the penalty. I agree with the other negative reviews. read more

The go door to door, don't sign anything unless you want to be charged. If they had a better strategy around using non toxic products, I would have been more open. We have dogs, cats and other living creatures around our house, deer, etc. I was concerned about the effects on the drinking water for everyone. Asked about if they were using harmful products, they pushed me that they were going to use these products regardless, they told me everything was safe, I looked things up, online these products are not safe for animals when it rains, also I'm assuming it isn't good when it isn't raining. I canceled the contract and moved on, but be aware, they will charge you even if you don't use their services or ask them to use harmful chemicals. They have their team telling you what you want to hear but I was very stressed over how pushy they were. They charged me regardless of services or not. I paid and moved on. Don't believe the sales pitch. They didn't sign up your neighbors, the services they provide are not worth the huge amount of money they charge, and their customer service is TERRIBLE. I actually feel a bit bad giving this review because one of the men who came to do our treatments, Kenny, was very kind and gracious. He brought my dog treats and always seemed to do a good job. However, you can't be guaranteed the same person and recently our person changed and we had multiple problems with ants in our kitchen. I contacted theircustomer service about this REPEATEDLY and they said they would have someone else come out immediately for no charge then pushed the date back and back until it was essentially our next treatment date, then charged me TWICE! When we still had ants after this, I requested to cancel my contract and never got a response. I assume they cancelled it because they have not shown up again and fortunately haven't charged me since, but their customer service is so, so awful. If you're able to do so, do yourself a favor, go to Home Depot, buy a lawn sprayer and some bug killer, and save yourself the money and hassle of dealing with these people. read more

We signed up for a 2 year contract with aptive, after they came and knocked on our door. We live in the woods and have animals so thought it was a good idea. The first 2 technicians that came out did a poor and incomplete job. Things that we were told were going to be done, weren't and we actually had a stink bug infestation in our out building this past summer. After we told the spray would prevent such things from happening. We decided to give them one more chance and the technician who came out, his name was Scott, was very knowledgeable and apologetic and sold us back on the company. He told us to ask for him specifically and he would be the only one doing our property, as he was the only one thus far who had done a good job. Well today was our next scheduled spray and we got a call from a different technician saying he would be here soon for our treatment. So we called the 1800 number to ask why Scott wasn't coming and the woman who spoke to us agreed she saw the note that only Scott could come to our house, but said they never guarantee a technician and didnt know why someone would put that note in. She ended up being quite rude to my husband. She wouldn't even tell him her name. At this point the technician shows up and we let him do his thing and thankfully he was very nice and did a good job. We were waiting for the email to come in so we could do the survey to give him a good review but instead got an email saying our contract was ended permanently. Called 1800 number again, wouldn't give us any reason as to why our account was closed just said if we wanted to continue service we had to start a new contract and pay the fee again. So disappointed in this company and the unprofessionalism. read more

So we bought a new house in may. We had been battling ants at our last house and decided to call pest control with our new house to avoid any hassles. We went with orkin, however aptive showed up on our doorstep only like 2 weeks later. The guy was very persistent. He explained how their stuff was safer for animal and kids and how they put a barrier on the upper part of the house which orkin didn't. And he showed us where a wasp nest was starting and said if we used them that never would have even started in the first place. We also had ant trails going up the house and he said that would also be taken care of with them. Eventually my husband and I caved even though they were more expensive and Orkin hadn't really done anything wrong. Well here we are 3 visits later and after the first treatment it killed my perennials out front, though I figured no big deal, they came with the house n I love gardening, they knocked down the nest and made a barrier at the gutters, but now the wasp are just sneakier and going into crevices. I explained it to the guy last visit, but the stuff they sprayed did nothing and I now have them going in more places than before their last visit. And those ant trails they said would never happen with them?... Total line of crap. No better than before. I still have to keep buying insecticides and I'm stuck in an 18 month contract. Broken promises and a waste of time and mone. Definitely will not be renewin. read more
