If you are looking for someone to SOLVE your pest problems, just like I was, then Ehrlich Pest Control is not the company for you. They are only interested in customers who want to pay them endless amounts of money forever! Here is my experience with them: Due to finding food being eaten in my kitchen pantry, I had a feeling that I had a mouse in my house. I called the office of Ehrlich Pest Control and made an appointment with them. Including a $50.00 off coupon, I had to pay $369.94 up front, for a technician to come to my house. While the office rep had me on the phone, she highly suggested that I get a maintenance pest control plan for $114.00 a month. I told the rep that I could not afford that, so she immediately lowered the price to $80.00 a month. I told the rep that I would have to check my monthly household budget, to see if I can afford that but she signed me up for the plan anyhow. Tech #1 came to my house on the afternoon of April 2, 2026. He put several snap traps in my kitchen pantry. In my basement, he put both snap traps and glue pads. We did find one small dead mouse in my basement utility closet. Tech #1 highly suggested that I get an exclusion inspection done, this is where another tech would come and find any opening that mice may be entering, so that I can have these openings sealed. I agreed to doing this. Tech #1 highly suggested that I get five bait boxes, for the outside of my house. This way the mice would stay out of my house. So, I agreed to the bait boxes at a cost of $238.50. Tech #1 said that he would install the bait boxes the very next day, on April 3, 2026. Before leaving, tech #1 made a follow up appointment with me for April 9, 2026. He also told me that he would be my permanent tech from then on. Tech #1 did not install the bait boxes on April 3, 2026 but he did show up on April 6, 2026 to install them. Tech #2 called to set up an appointment with me, for the exclusion inspection. I made the appointment for the same day as the follow up appointment with tech #1, for the afternoon of April 9, 2026. On April 9, 2026 tech #2 showed up. He inspected my garage and told me everything looked okay. Then we went into my basement. But instead of telling me where possible openings were, that would need to be sealed, he starts talking to me about a termite prevention plan at $134.00 a month. I told him that I was not interested in a termite plan but he still left me a brochure. Then he sent me an email, five different times, with a contract for me to sign for a termite plan. Tech #1 was a no show, no call but they sent tech #3 in his place, who showed up forty minutes late. Tech #3 said that if I really wanted tech #1, that he could call the office and schedule tech #1 to come the afternoon of April 10, 2026. I agreed to that. So, in front of me, tech #3 called his office and made the appointment for tech #1 to come the next afternoon. On April 10, 2026, tech #1 was again a no show, no call. I called the Ehrlich Pest Control office. They said that they could not reach tech #1. They told me that if I specifically wanted tech #1, for my follow up visit, I would have to wait until the afternoon of April 22, 2026. I agreed to that appointment. On April 22, 2026, tech #1 was again a no show, no call. I called the Ehrlich Pest Control office and asked to speak with a manager. The manager apologized for tech #1 not showing up. The manager told me that he would have tech #1 come on the afternoon of April 25, 2026. I could not believe it when tech #1 was a no show, no call again, even after speaking with a manager. On April 27, 2026, I spoke with a customer service rep from Ehrlich Pest Control. I explained to her that tech #1 was a no show, no call on a follow up visit four times already. She said that she would pass along my information to tech #1. On April 28, 2026, tech #1 finally called me and set up a follow up appointment (this was the fifth time, since April 9, 2026) with me for the afternoon of April 30, 2026. He finally showed up for this appointment. Right away, I told tech #1 that tech #2 did not do an exclusion inspection but tried to sell me a termite prevention plan. Tech #1 told me not to worry about that now. I thought that would solve my problem with mice coming into my house but now I am being told not to have it done! It's like the old "bait and switch" game, where the tech was supposed to do one thing but then tried to sell me a termite prevention plan instead. We found absolutely no mouse activity in the panty but we did find one small dead mouse near the furnace and another small dead mouse in a clothes closet. Tech #1 replaced the two snap traps. Tech #1 then set up another follow up visit with me for the afternoon of May 7, 2026. He did show up again this time. We found no mouse activity in the pantry or the basement. At this time, I told tech #1 that I could not afford the monthly maintenance plan. I also found out that they do not come every month, they come ever read more

I didn't have a good experience with ehrlich. I originally started service with them for a few wasp nests. They did not take care of the problem. They are over priced and don't even service in the winter. They come out 4 times a year, and their winter service is taking a brush and knocking down any webs. Would not recommend. Can't take a whole day off for them to come out, and not come on specified days. They would randomly call saying hey I'm going to be stopping by. So they never got inside my home. read more

Rodents in my ceiling; called them, priced ( more than $500) for checking the whole house in and out; barely were in the house, gave false information, trying to get more money, they do not call warning of the arrival time, came late, funny fees, no paper or email trail, not worth more than $ 200 at the most. They did put traps and got a mouse with the classic mouse trap. Next time I know what to do for free. read more

We used to swear by Ehrlich & our technician; but found out we are no longer getting quarterly visits yet price went up. Now only come 3x a year. Today is our day... tech used to come by 8:30am. At 11am I called office & was told our time frame is 'morning' 8am to noon. Well, at 12:02pm I called office again asking where tech is. Was told no way to contact him , rep will have to send a message thru the system. Told her if this is how they're going to do business, I want a discount ; & if he soon don't show up, we will be looking for another pest control company. It's now almost 12:30pm & still no tech, & no call stating why he's not here yet. VERY DOUBTFUL they will remain our pest control company at this point!!!! read more

Deceptive and time wasting "service". A technician came out to assess the noise we heard in a wall. After looking at our exterior, attic and basement the technician determined we had birds in the house. The charge for getting the birds cleared would be $800. Another technician came the next day to clear any birds inside the walls, attic. The technician who arrived said there was a bird nest on an outside vent, but no intrusion. When he inspected the attic and basement, he found evidence of a mouse but no birds, raccoons, bats, etc... He advised that he can only deal with birds per "the contract" the assessor the previous day said was required and he can't lay any mouse traps. So we call back, and Erhlich said they can send someone else to assess tomorrow, but when asked, it would only be an assessment no treatment even though the tech today showed pics of mice action. Then we were told mice service would include all pests and would be $1300, even if it was a single mouse caught in the first week. Plus they would be spraying poison all over inside and outside of our home, which we don't want!!!! They've been unresponsive to our requests to cancel, they still have our $800 and have not provided any treatment. A total rip-off and scam. read more

Don't sign any contact. We had a contact and we canceal a visit five days in advance and they have came out but they still charge use 54.00 . I called about it and they said I would get a refund. A month later I called about the refunds they said yes you will get a check. Another month passes and I called again and they aren't giving us a refund. I made the mistake of signing up for their monthly service. I was talked into it when I called them to help with a wasp infestation. It was implied that they would come out and make sure the wasps wouldn't return, something specific to wasps. But it was just standard pest control, spraying and laying traps, which I don't want spraying anyway. So I was mislead from the start. Then, I got a new credit card and didn't update it with them right away due to extenuating circumstances. They didn't come out to my house because they couldn't charge me. But they expect me to pay for the 2 months they didn't do anything. I called and cancelled, but they won't do anything about the charges. If they had any integrity, they wouldn't be charging me for doing absolutely nothing. read more

I am writing this review after spending $600 with this company and am still watching ants crawl across my floor. Let's go back to the beginning. I first approached this company when looking for a solution to getting rid of ants. My wife and I had tried everything to get rid of them and couldn't hold them back for long. I spoke to Ehrlich and they said that they would get rid of them and keep them away for an initial investment of around $300 and an additional $45ish per month. I figured, if that is what it took - then it was worth it. I should have known after the first visit that this was going to be a disaster. The service technician was late getting to our house. Hours late. He spent maybe 5 minutes diagnosing the problem. He put out ant traps and sprayed a little around the house. This was not a $300 solution. This was a $25 dollar solution I could have handled with a trip to Home Depot. I know, because I have done all this before. However, we decided to give them a chance with their promise to come back out if the problem didn't get better. So a about a month later, we called them when the ants kept coming. They said that they would get together with their "ant guy" and come up with a more comprehensive solution. After not hearing back for over a week, we called back and asked what they were going to do. Again, a service tech came out - had to cancel the first trip - and was late on the second trip by hours. The best part is that we got more ant traps out of the deal. Now, communication from their end pretty much ended. This is, except for the automated phone calls letting us know a day in advance that we "set up" an appointment for the next day - which we never knew about. Those appointments also ended up getting cancelled and rescheduled - so what was the point? The final straw was when we were supposed to have our second quarterly check-in and the tech called me on my cell phone and since I didn't pick up, assumed I wasn't home and cancelled the appointment. I called right back, got a voicemail and haven't heard anything since. It has taken me 3 hours of calls to get someone on the phone to try and cancel my service, and I received a bill yesterday which shows that I don't think anyone actually ever cancelled my service. This is the biggest scam of a company. For the money, I still have ants, I have had terrible to nonexistent service. I haven't even been able to cancel my service. I have never spent so much money to be so completely ripped off. Buyer beware. read more

Absolutely do not recommend this company. The customer service is terrible. I canceled my service after a few years of using them after they came highly recommended to me from a family member who has used them for over 20 years. The original company was sold to a larger company called Rentokil who absolutely destroyed any friendliness to the company. I have been calling them nonstop since canceling because the customer service rep I talked to said we could get a refund for this past month that we paid for and only used a week out of. I am constantly being told I will get a call back within the hour or by the end of the day. Nothing. Last year we started getting some bugs in the house we've never seen before after not having bugs at all. They don't attack food or anything but are infesting the kitchen and bathrooms. I had to call them back every week over the summer just so I could cook food in my own house. This year, same bug reappeared and the company wasn't willing to send someone out. We went to a new company and the bugs have stopped with one treatment. read more

Skip this service. I was a customer for a long time and for a long time I would have said "yes, choose Ehrlich!" However, their services have seriously declined over the last two years and their prices have steadily gone up. I can never reach anyone on the phone and they don't return messages. Service calls are iffy at best. Check out other service in the area. read more
