Thank you Steve for your prompt attention and assertiveness in addressing our millipede infestation! I called several exterminators and didn't hear back from one of them. I called Steve and he quickly returned my call and immediately scheduled me to address the problem. Steve was professional and very consistent as he came to my house multiple times to reapply since these buggers were very stubborn. Steve is professional, kind and committed to resolving your pest problem! Look no further because this is the best bug guy you will find. read more

Steve the owner is great. He came within 24 hours to help with our field mouse issue. He setup traps everywhere for us. What makes Steve great is his personality, attitude and his work ethic. When he went to our attic he really took his time to put traps everywhere. I highly recommend him. read more

Can't say enough good things about them. Steve came out the same day I called (this past Saturday) for an ant problem. He asked me if I would like him to wear a mask. He was very focused but had time to explain to me that he was going to be using a non-toxic treatment. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who had a similar problem. read more

Steve was incredibly thoughtful and receptive about the tick problem we were having at our cabin in the woods in the Hudson Valley. He showed up early (!) and worked thoroughly and efficiently with a guarantee that we'd be tick-free until 2020. He used ingredients that were dog and human-safe (essentially a cocktail of homeopathic oils to kill and deter ticks). For the first time this season we've been able to wander our property without picking these very scary pests off of us and our dogs. We'll be using them on a regular basis for non-impactful tick and mosquito control. read more

Steve is fantastic -- very helpful, responsive and flexible with scheduling. My home is an old stone farmhouse and the mice, box elder bugs and stink bugs were such a nuisance. So much better now that we started using Ecotect! read more

Hire Ecotect immediately... Call Steve because he offers the best service and his schedule books up quickly! He kindly responded to our panicked voice mail about potentially having termites in an all wood house and squeezed us into his schedule at the end of the day, being very communicative and respectful of our schedules despite having a full day himself. He took a look at the damage we had discovered (e.g. little piles of sawdust flaking off from the ceilings) and determined that we had an ant problem instead of a termite problem. After analyzing the situation further he determined we had two types of ants causing the issue and also had found significant damage from carpenter bees in places we weren't even aware of. He quickly and kindly also took care of our basement after I merely mentioned jokingly that we had spider crickets popping out of the basement floor and terrorizing us. This guy has years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, and honestly just lovely to be around. He even took the time to assure us that the dog we were baby sitting would be okay around the pest control agent that he had used around the entire house before he left. Thank you Steve for saving the day!!! We will be solely using Ecotect's services going forward. read more

Awesome guys! I had a major bee and wasp problem I needed treated ASAP. I called around but found other companies wanted to charge me separately for wasps vs. carpenter bees and only guaranteed the treatment for 90 days. Not Ecotect! I worked with Steve. He was honest, very responsive and didn't pressure me at all. The price was very competitive and I LOVE the fact they use non-toxic treatments (thyme and rosemary oil!) as I have three dogs. Their work is guaranteed through the end of the calendar year too, which says a lot for their integrity. Very highly recommended! read more

Great company! My family's company has been going here for years and they have solved all of our pest problems. Of course old buildings are inevitable to have pest, but we haven't seen one problem at all. The service is consistent, fast, and super friendly and I have even recommended them to tons of places in NYC too. Steve is a great guy always positive and knows what he's doing as well. read more

My company is closing on a home that needed extermination for carpenter ants. I requested a few quotes from different companies, and EcoTect got back to me within minutes! Their price was extremely fair, and they could be out as soon as the next day with documentation to close. Travis was professional and genuine. The whole process was hassle free, quick and convenient. I will continue to use them for all my extermination needs for my business! Michelle Speers Kinsey Developers, LLC read more

Don't waste your time calling anyone else. Professional, thoughtful, on time and wonderful service. They will return if first treatment doesn't kill all your pests. Have used them for a couple of years now and I happen to have very high standards and little patience for bad service read more

So happy we used Ecotect to apply non-toxic tick repellant/eliminator to our yard. Steve is super friendly and helpful, and is willing to guarantee his results for six months! The fall is the worst Tick season of the year, so this was important to us. Worth every penny. We have a dog, cats, chickens and kids to keep safe, we'll use Ecotect every year!! read more

Amazing results. I would not have believed this was possible, except it has happened. After years of trying to get rid of field mice on our own, we finally called exterminators. Our first quote from a well-known national firm was for $1,200 a year, with no guarantees. We decided to call Ecotect, liked what we heard -- and the price, which was $200 for six months with a promise to return as needed over that period. I cannot rave enough about Travis' work. He's an exterminating genius, and quite polite, too. He told us it could take up to 2 weeks before we'd finally see no evidence of mouse activity in the house. He knew what he was doing. But his estimation was way off! The very next day we were free from mouse droppings!!! I have to wonder why I didn't find Ecotect years ago. read more

This is the second year I have used this company. The first year they got rid of my carpenter bees. Due to endangered species laws, they couldn't do anything about the bats. This year the carpenter bees were back with a vengeance and along with them woodpeckers. When the woodpeckers did not go away after Travis sprayed, he came back a week later and made sure he got all the bee locations the second time with no cost to us. Haven't heard a "peck" since. Thank you Ecotect! read more

Ecotect is a highly reputable company providing excellent pest control services. I had called another company to take a look at what might possibly be a termite infestation. That company sent out a technician, who although was professional and courteous, did have a tendency to make assumptions and quoted me a price of about $950 to have the service performed. I then called Ecotect, spoke with Steve, who was friendly to speak with, very knowledgeable and quoted me a price of $850. Steve sent his technician Travis the next day to confirm whether I truly had a termite infestation or something else. Travis came on time, looked at the insects and confirmed that they were termites. He explained about the various termite types among many other questions I had in a very easy to understand way. Travis never jumped to conclusions or made assumptions and was very professional throughout the process. He and Steve recommended that I wait until the ground is not frozen so that the chemical will be impactful. From my experience, I felt that these guys are not only very knowledgeable and prompt, but also honest. I called Steve back and told him to perform the termite service. Travis came promptly and administered the chemical around my house. When the time came to make payment, I was surprised to see that the bill was $50 less than what Steve quoted me over the phone, most likely because Travis did not have to drill much since there was an issue with 1800digs, who did not stop by my property and clearly outline where the gas lines and water lines were. Travis did not want to risk drilling holes and accidentally damage any of these lines, which makes sense. I happily paid the bill in full and about a month later, termites where no more. I called Steve back and told him to set me up for an annual routine pest control service and I've been happy since then. Steven texted me back about how it all went and to not hesitate to call or text him. Steve and Travis are truly the best pest control team I've hired. read more
