We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

The hot dog cheese was a cheesy bun filled with sliced hot dog pieces. It was fluffy and flavorful as was the curry chicken bun. I do wish the curry chicken bun had more filling, but considering the very reasonable price, I can't complain too much. The egg tart was also fantastic. A perfectly flaky and buttery crust, and a not too sweet velvety smooth custard. The staff was friendly. A casual cafe where you pick your wanted baked goods from the cases. If you want to heat up your buns (which I highly recommend you do, especially with the savory buns), the staff will hand you a plate, and you heat it up in the microwave next to the napkins & utensils. There's a steady traffic of people going in and out. The staff are welcoming and pleasant. I got an iced honey lavender latte with oat milk and slice of the pistachio cardamom cake. The latte was ok but the cake was phenomenal. The latte had a decent flavor but it wasn't strong. Plus it tasted very grainy and milk-heavy, overpowering the coffee. My slice of cake was so moist and delicious without being too sweet. It was perfect. I'd definitely come back again more so for the desserts than the coffee. My blood sugar was low and I absolutely could not resist eating the cookie on my way home. Wow.. It was so chewy and delicious. Both flavors come through really nicely. On to the bagels... These are, by far, the best bagels I've had in Atlanta. Honestly, they put the chain bagel spots to shame. The interior is really open and has that beautiful sourdough tang. They're perfectly crusted on the outside and provide a nice base for a spread/schmear. I'm so so impressed. Thank you Evergreen. I'll be back.

After the sampler, I was done desserting. Yep, sampler. Why settle for one flavor when you can try them all? Well, six. Six. I tried six. And each one was excellent. The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. Savory is not the move when it comes to these treats. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy.
