I was desperately in need of sweets this day and didn't want to travel far out. Low and behold I…read morewent to my handy dandy Yelp community and they told me this place wasn't that far. In desperation and disbelief we had sweets so close by - I threw my clothes on and went here as fast as I could before my next meeting lol here's my review: Location: This place is located near the gas station on the corner of high point and centerville hwy. it's off to the right so you may miss it if you aren't use to making a stop over there. Parking: They have a few spots in front of the place so you should be ok for parking. Appearance: Your typical cupcakery, really cute fonts and colors and of course a full assortment of cupcake flavors presented. Staff: I had a chance to chat with the owner and she was super sweet. Gave me great suggestions, told me a bit about her business and had great customer service Cupcakes: To me, and I do not believe in bashing small business - the taste wasn't to my liking but for the price and location, I would purchase for school events or holidays for others! Definitely will give this a 5 stars and a must check out for yourselves! :)

I found this wonderful yet hidden little gem of a bakery when I was searching for an anniversary…read morecake or treat for my 27th anniversary. I needed some place close but also delicious. I called before I went, just to make sure that the bakery would have a cake available. However, when I called, the person told me that they did not have a cake available for me today because they would need time to prepare the cake I wanted. But...she offered an alternative...delicious cupcakes. I hung up with her and thought about it... and loved her idea. I drove to the bakery, which was only 10 minutes away from my house. When I arrived, I found out that I had spoken with the owner on the phone. She was so sweet and helped me pick out some great cupcakes. My husband and I loved all of them! My advice to you is to go, grab a cake (or cupcake), and enjoy yourself!

We used them for our…read morewedding cakes - both a traditional cake and a grooms cake - and were thrilled with the outcome. We actually had 2 consultations with them, and chose the most delicious flavors of cake. The design process was simple - I'm pretty sure they would have done anything we wanted, although we wanted something very simple and elegant for our main cake. Our 3 cake layers were an almond cake, italian buttercream cake, and coconut cake. The grooms cake was carrot cake. My husband's cake had a big, chocolate stegosaurus on top - it was amazing! We were definitely excited about how the cake turned out. I'm also pretty pumped about not eating frozen cake on our first anniversary - we just give them a call before the anniversary gets here, and they'll make us a *fresh* first anniversary cake. I would definitely recommend The Cake Company to anyone - their service was amazing, and so were the cakes!

We just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary with an amazing *free* cake from The Cake…read moreCompany. Let me back up first. The Cake Company made the cake for our wedding 1 year ago. Actually it was a cupcake tower topped off with an 8" cake on the top. They did a great, and very affordable job for our wedding. And the coolest part, which leads me to this review today - they include a free cake for your anniversary - so no hassles with freezing and eating stale cake! I was referred there by a few people for wedding cakes. So I set up a time to go for a "taste test". They gave us like 20 different kinds of cake to try and we could bring home anything we didn't finish - which was a ton! The place is not fancy - in fact you walk right in the door into the kitchen. So they don't jack up their prices for a fancy store front. Very different than a lot of wedding cake vendors, but a welcome change. They were very affordable, along with being delicious, timely, and easy. So my husband went and picked up our anniversary cake yesterday. Turns out it was 12", again AMAZING tasting, and plenty to go around. We are both making our co-workers very happy today! They do more than just weddings too...check them out - you won't regret it!

The buttercream icing was light and delicious - yes it was made with REAL butter- and Tracy used puréed strawberries in the cake batter that delivered a sweet, moist strawberry cake that was the best I've ever had. As an avid cake baker I can taste the difference - this was a scratch-made cake! I recently moved out of state and was unable to make the cake for our special day but Tracy knocked it out of the park and also hand-made each bumble bee (for our GA Tech grad:) on this adorable cake. It was a total hit - everyone loved it and she definitely exceeded my expectations! Tracy also called and texted me and was so flexible in making any changes as well as pick up arrangements. Tracy, thank you for making our daughter's college graduation party extra special
