Dominique has the most calming presence and approach to everything. She took time to explain so many different techniques and she truly cared about how I was doing every time we talked. Due to location, our appointments were virtual but she took care to make it feel like I was sitting in a room with her each time! My hypnosis sessions were incredibly powerful and emotional. I had nothing but trust in Dominique that I could express myself freely and know she would see me through the tough moments. I have completed several sessions and am now working with Dominique on self hypnosis. Do not hesitate to reach out to her, she will change your life for the better! Thank you, Dominique for your expertise and care.

It's very tempting to call what Kira does magic, but that would be selling her work short. What she…read moreprovides is a very structured, compassionate approach to dealing with deep-seated issues that aren't easily managed using adult logic. I'd been struggling with aversion that felt irrational. Our first session was game-changing. Hypnotherapy is not different from other therapy I've done, and it dovetailed nicely with my meditation and yoga mindfulness practice. It involved entering a deep state of relaxation and accessing my subconscious to achieve an understanding of the cause of my aversion and provide alternative behaviors. I remembered everything about my sessions and though my session was emotional I left feeling truly refreshed. A second "tune-up" session helped me sort out a few related issues. And the use of a reminder object has become an everyday reminder of my progress. Kira has a calm, encouraging manner. I felt welcomed and understood at every turn: having her was like having a coach who could see the big picture AND a fan wanting to see me succeed. Highly recommended for those long-term "unsolvable" or "irrational" issues that crop up and interfere with the day to day.

For privacy reasons, I won't mention the reasons for my seeing her, but I will say I had been feeling "stuck" in my life and other methods of therapy weren't working, so I thought "might as well." She is the first and only hypnotherapist that I have seen, and I found her to be very effective in our work together. Her website is helpful in listing some things she treats- from anxiety to anger to hypnobirthing classes. I began by shooting her an email and discussing what I wanted to work on to make sure she was the right fit. I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later, as she fills up quickly. I had about a 4 wk wait to see her for my first time; then she gets you in regularly as needed. The office itself is comfortable and relaxing. There is plenty of street parking right out front. Kira is always prompt and professional, which I greatly appreciate. I would describe her style as warm, friendly, and caring. She has a calming voice, which I assume is pertinent to the profession. She is also direct and helpful, and she offers tools and recordings to utilize outside of session. I have found them to be useful. But again, it will depend on your reasons for seeing her, as I assume these things vary. Most importantly for me, I leave every session feeling like I learned something new about myself. That is a MUST for me in my journey. I found her prices to be competitive with others. The only downside to hypnotherapy is that insurance doesn't cover it. But on the bright side, you only go in for a few sessions so you're spending less in the long run. I think it's worth the investment. No doubt, Kira deserves 5 stars. I appreciate all of her help and hope everyone else has an equally positive experience with her.

Two women were talking about a hypnotherapist that they loved, I overheard, asked them who it was and the rest is history. I started seeing Erika because I had been in a car accident in Seattle and was so anxious about driving in the rain, it was debilitating. My regular talk therapy at the time was not enough. Our sessions were in person and hypnotherapy and reiki in person at the beginning. I was able to work through my fears of driving in the rain in these sessions. My sessions with Erika have morphed into phone sessions of energy healing and life coach more than anything else. I love my sessions and feel like the concrete changes I have made in my life are noticeable to me and my family. I love getting homework and look forward to working on the changes I need to make. I have come a long way in 5 years and am excited to continue working with Erika. A lot of people think it is woowoo to work with an energy healer but I love it. I started seeing her because of an accident. She has helped me work through a death, surgery recovery, friend divorce, relationship issues, etc. Our phone sessions always leave me feeling so good and ready to get things done.

All of our sessions have been remote and I find this to be a huge benefit. Being in the comfort of my own home allows me to relax and lean into the work in a way that I don't think would be possible if I were in an office or any less familiar environment. I also like the fact that I'm already home at the end of each session - normally I like to grab a drink of water and relax for a bit after each session so it's great to be able to do that. I highly recommend this option! Erika has helped me feel more grounded in my body, more confident, and far less stressed and anxious than I've ever felt. I have tried many different types of therapy over the years and I think working with Erika has allowed me to do some deep healing on a soul level that I just wasn't able to reach before. I am so grateful for her patience, reassurance, and calm guidance throughout our work together. I look forward to working with her further!

The sessions themselves were relaxing and thoughtfully guided, and I always felt supported and respected during our time together. However, I hired her specifically for weight loss, and unfortunately, I did not lose any weight despite committing significant time, effort, and money to the process. I truly wanted this to work -- but it simply did not produce results for me. I understand that hypnosis may work very well for some people. It just wasn't effective in my case, and I wish I had known sooner so I could have redirected my time and money elsewhere. If you're looking for a caring practitioner and are curious about hypnosis, she may be a good fit. If your primary goal is measurable weight loss, I would recommend going in with realistic expectations and understanding that results are not guaranteed.

Umm that's not a therapeutic answer to a completely reasonable question, that's someone getting defensive and pulling rank instead of actually engaging with "how is this helping me." A patient asking that deserves an actual answer about the modality, not a putdown. All she did was stare me down, and say I have to share random thoughts, but I told her in my very first session I needed help processing anticipatory grief over my dog's cancer diagnosis. I have been to good therapists before and if I lived where I did before I'd still be in their care. She was absolutely thoughtless when she said "you want your dog to die." In response to my request for some tools to increase my emotional bandwidth while processing anticipatory grief. It was so unkind. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
