Sent in a Maytronics pool cleaning robot for warranty service. Maytronics supplied the incorrect…read moreserial number on the work order, and they initially could not complete the repair job because of that. I had to act as a go between to solve the issue and get the correct serial number to Shav-Tronics. I spent hours on the phone with Maytronics over the course of days. Shav-Tronics made no attempt to communicate directly with Maytronics and sort the situation out. After I found and supplied the correct serial number in my records, the repair was completed and the robot was sent back to me. That's not the end of it. Not only did Maytronics enter the incorrect serial number, but also input the wrong address on the work order. Fedex only allows the shipper to amend the address. I called Shav-Tronics and Paul, who I believe is the owner, said it was my fault the address was incorrect and was not willing to help. After this he said he hoped he never heard from me again. This left me having to get Fedex management involved in correcting the address. Between Maytronics & Shav-Tronics this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Stay far away from this repair facility if possible.

The only reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of 5 is due to the cost. My dryer turned out to be fine, a piece inside fell off. It was 60$ for the tech to just put the piece back in place. It did take him about 25 min to get it put back on and the dryer back together, but I still feel like 60$ was a lot for just putting a piece back in place. Just my personal opinion. The tech did offer a 90 day "warranty" if the piece falls off again, they will put it back on for free again or put that 60$ towards the replacement of the piece, so that is very nice. I'm a yelp stickler, otherwise I would have given a 5 stars probably. Great service, just think 60$ was a little high.

I contacted A4L and they gave me the run around and gaslit me, saying just becasue there wasn't a serial number sticker in it, doesn't mean its refurbished. You see, they also forgot to take off the "KM Return" sticker on the side of it. The number on this sticker was the same one they used on my invoice as the "serial number"- but it was a return number. One given to it when refurbished. Nothing on my receipt said it was refurbished, and the sales person even told me if I but THEIR warranty I don't have to wait like people do for the Factory warranty techs. So, they sold me a refurbished unit as new, didn't disclose it, and tried to play me for a fool like I dont know how refurbishment and removal of Serial stickers works. The owner said he would look into where the fridge came from, after I presented all the proof that he sold me a refurbished unit that I cant get fixed through factory warrant which it was still covered under....No response, its been 3 months. They wont answer emails. Just becasue its a little cheaper, means you get what you pay for.
